Billykirk No. 235 Leather Tote - Value $297

Wow! This was the first item I pulled out of the box, and I was amazed! It's such a high-quality classic tote. Also, it's 100% leather and made in the USA.  I will definitely use this for years to come.

Sam + Lavi Ashton Maxi in Navy - Value $150

When filling out my style profile, I listed maxi dresses as my must have fashion item. Yay - they totally listened to my feedback, and sent me a great maxi dress from a designer I hadn't heard of before. This is such a flowy yet flattering dress - I cannot wait for summer to get here now!

Lone Wolf Accents Secret Circle Infinity Body Chain - Value $36

I love delicate gold jewelry, but I'm not very adventurous when it comes to wearing anything besides typical necklaces and bracelets  At first I was worried I wouldn't use this body chain, but fortunately for me this piece is very versatile. I just attached the clasps in a different way, and it's a beautiful necklace!

Targus Ultralife Thin Canvas Sleeve Case - Value $39

The style profile even asks you about your tech style! I have a Macbook Air, and this case is perfect for it!

Seawicks of Main Candle in Beach Girl - Value $15

Another new brand I'm glad I discovered, and another item that makes me long for summer!

Pureology Hair Oil - Value $20

I sampled this brand before in another subscription box - Birchbox maybe? So I'm happy to try out the Hair Oil.

Elena Rubin Skincare Carpe Diem Day Lotion - Value $49

This brand was new to me as well, but after I read the description on the letter included by I-ELLA, I can't wait to try it!

From I-ELLA:

This Harvard educated scientist may look more like a beauty queen than the mad scientist, but that's all due to her eponymous skincare lin.e With features in the New York Times, Marie Claire, and more, Elena Skincare is sought after by those in-the-know."

Verdict: I am SO impressed with the value of this box (Approx $610), the quality of the items, and most of all - how well matched every item is to my personal style. I imagine this is what it's like to have a personal stylist - they find you great items they know you'll love, and they introduce you to new hot brands!

I am soooo jealous!!!!I cannot pick clothes out worth crap and you have hit jackpot gold!!! I need a makeover more than anyone in the world and would love to have one of these boxes!! I got let go from my job Christmas Eve and even went back to work for three more hours to finish payroll!! I have not worked since because of the gossip in this town. I am so down in the dumps, my gosh what a personal stylist would do for me. At least I would know that I looked good in what I was wearing!!!

OK, I subscribed to the Soho Box after reading this post. Never thought I’d ever spend that kind of money on a complete mystery, but I just got a new job, so I figured why not?

Woooo – I hope it’s worth it! I’ll probably only be able to afford this one three-month trial run. I understand why you have to commit to at least three months, but wow, that makes it all the more nerve-wracking.

While $59 seems like a lot to spend on a box I am seriously considering doing it. I added up all of my other boxes I get and it is around $70 a month. So I might just cancel all of those for this one. It seems extremely worth it. I am looking forward to seeing what people get in the $59 bag. Thanks for the great review!

I just subscribed to the starter bag… I hope it’s worth it, I was charged $69 is that shipping? What you got seems amazing but for almost $400 it’s more then I can spend on a surprise : ( I do love that it’s personalized though someone contacted me today and asked my shoe size and for a pic so they could better customize my bag! Pretty cool

I ordered the starter bag but now I am SO jealous of that leather tote ;). Since you have to subscribe for three months, I couldn’t justify the higher price right now. I received a really cute striped knit cardigan, the same Purology hair oil you received, a bar of handcrafted soap and a small vial of Chanel Paris perfume (larger than just an average sample). I loved everything! The sweater fit perfectly and the other items are definitely hits with me! I have eliminated a lot of my subs and this is pricey but so much better than spending the same amount (or more some months when I went a little crazy on subs!) on samples that sit in my cabinet or crap i dont want (hello Popsugar) The owner is SO nice and extremely responsive. I’m a fan!

I just realized this is the highest priced box, not the middle. Made me feel a little less jealous but that bag is so beautiful and classic!

Cathy@Five Boys

Awesome box!! Don’t think I want to pay that much monthly tho. Maybe a super great bday gift to myself?!

Hi Liz –
Did you get a shipping confirmation or did your bag just arrive? I’m anxiously awaiting my Soho bag…..

I might try the ‘starter bag’ to see what they find for me. This is a great concept and I love what they sent you, it reminds me of a celeb swag bag. That tote is so beautiful, but everything looks great!
