The Cost: $18 a month (less with monthly plan)

The Products: You will receive 3 different teas, approx. 20g of each, or enough to steep 10 six-ounce cups of each one. There will sometimes be monthly themes, but there will always be a great variety to help you better explore the world of tea. We choose from all the varietals (green, black, oolong, white… you name it), plus rooibos and herbals.

I love all the information they provide on each package of tea - I've been preparing all tea the exact same way, so having a steeping guide might turn me into a tea expert!

This is made with brazil nuts and almonds - totally a new type of tea to me!

And last but not least, Amoda Tea includes a letter with the box detailing the teas and why they picked them for this box:

Verdict: I think Amoda Tea is a great way to discover new teas - plus I love the packaging and presentation. I will definitely be gifting this box in the future! What do you think of Amoda Tea?

The suggestions for their earl grey and the herbal tea are good, but for matcha you should try a much more concentrated ratio of powder to water. Don’t be afraid to play around with it! I’m glad they emphasize the lower temp though, using too-hot water is the best way to ruin green tea! Make sure to whisk it enough so that it is frothy. 🙂 (Yes, I am obsessed with tea, why do you ask?)

I like the idea of it, and I like tea, but honestly I don’t drink THAT much of it! Within two months I’d have way more tea than I could ever drink. It’d be nice if they offered a smaller box, too.

Oh I am so jelly of your matcha tea! Good matcha is hard to get and expensive here and peach matcha sounds delicious so lucky you! Hope they all taste great!
