Be Pawsitive is a wonderful new subscription box for dogs - every month they send you a batch of organic, made-in-the-USA dog treats, and for every box they send to a subscriber, they also send a batch of treats to an animal shelter or rescue organization. They kindly sent me this box to review and share with our pup!

These treats help animal shelters with training dogs - and dogs that are trained and obedient get adopted at a much faster rate! (You can learn more about their giving back program at the Be Pawsitive site).

I love that these are organic and made in the USA.

Be Pawsitive logo sticker and Rover.com $25 gift card

We're fortunate enough to have family watch our dog whenever we go on vacation - so if anyone want's my Rover.com gift card code - let me know in the comments. (I'll email the first person to request it the code).

Verdict: I absolutely love the charity aspect of this box - it warms my heart! Plus, I think if you sign up for the 6-month subscription, Be Pawsitive is a good value too. What do you think of this subscription service?

Too expensive! Organic is great, but are they wheat free? One of my four dogs can’t eat wheat and they are all very picky about what cookies they will eat. So, I make my dogs cookies with organic rice & oat flour and have several recipes I came up with on my blog Blue Skies for Me Please.

All flavors except for our Original (we will be retiring this flavor after this month) are wheat free. We are also working to bring the cost down and add value with other items in the box. I will also be offering a discount code for mysubscriptionaddiction next month. Thanks for your feedback 🙂

I don’t think much of this subscription box, personally. For $24, all you get is an 11 ounce bag of baked dog treats, a sticker, and a gift card that may or may not be applicable to where you live. Even at the six month subscription rate of $18, this is not a great value. I could donate way more than 1 bag of dog treats to my local shelter for this kind of money. We don’t even know the size of each bag of donated dog treats. The other pet boxes seem to be a way better value.

I would LOVE the gift card if no one else has requested it! I need to find a pet sitter, since I just got a puppy! 😉
