FYI - This subscription box no longer exists. If you are looking for a great makeup subscription box, I recommend checking out Boxycharm. They send 5 full-size beauty products (usually at least 1 is a palette) every month for $21 a box. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is another great option for an awesome beauty subscription box. They send 5 full-size makeup and skincare items every month for $25.
About a week ago I posted about this new subscription box from e.l.f. cosmetics: the Beauty Bundle. Of course I couldn't resist and had to sign up. I had no idea what to expect, but I was hoping that $27 would equal a ton of e.l.f products! (Good news - it does!)
I'll take you through the entire unboxing with me since this is a brand new subscription. First off, I was happy to see a card detailing each product in the box - it confirms that this is a curated box and not a just a lot of random e.l.f. products!
Apparently the beauty bundle comes in a bag within a box! (This has a drawstring and is reusable).
The Box: e.l.f. Beauty Bundle
The Cost: $19.95 plus $6.95 shipping
The Products: $40+ top-rated mystery products curated by e.l.f. makeup artists.
Check out the Beauty Subscription Box Directory for more beauty and makeup boxes!
Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia - Value $3
Shimmering Facial Whip in Pink Lemonade - Value $1
Eyeshadow "C" Brush - Value $3
Angled Blush Brush - Value $3
I think e.l.f. makeup brushes are great quality, especially for the price! I buy these often since I like to replace my brushes often. I was so happy to see they are including brushes in the Beauty Bundle subscription!
Beach Party Nail Polish Set - Value $3
On the card they explained that for this bundle they are including some of their top-rated summertime party favorites - these nail polishes are one of those favorites. Good news - these nail polishes are 3-free.
Mineral Lipstick in Party Pink - Value $5
I didn't know e.l.f. had a Mineral product line! All the products from their mineral brand are free of parabens, chemical dyes, and preservatives. Oh, I wish they had a Mineral brand only subscription box! Unfortunately this lipstick shade didn't look good on, but I'm already browsing the mineral product section of the e.l.f. site for different color options!
Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths - Value $3
Lotion Wipes in Vanilla & Coconut - Value $3
I didn't know lotion wipes were a thing! I guess it's a similar concept to tan towelettes?
Glossy Gloss in Pink Candy - Value $3
Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara in Black - Value $3
Baked Palette in California - Value $10
This eye shadow palette was so beautiful I had to take another picture:
This shimmery eye shadow colors are gorgeous - plus you can apply them wet or dry to vary how sheer you want them to be.
Verdict: They promised $40 worth of product - and that's exactly the value of the products in the box! I paid $19.95 for this Beauty Bundle plus $6.95 for shipping. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth, and there's just so much product. I still can't believe how cheap e.l.f. products are! What do you think of the e.l.f. Beauty Bundle? I know a few readers mentioned they have grab bags / mystery bags sometimes, so I'm curious if this is a comparable value.
