Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - June 2013

The Tyler Florence Fancy Box is definitely one of my favorite Fancy boxes - each month you get a box of $80+ worth of cooking related products selected by Tyler Florence! (I subscribe to all the Fancy boxes - check out all my Fancy box reviews).

The previous Tyler Florence Fancy boxes have all had 4 items per box, so I was pleasantly surprised to see 7 cards at the top of this month's box!

The Box: Tyler Florence Fancy Box

The Cost: $39 a month plus shipping

The Products: Cooking and food related items – selected by Tyler Florence!

Vine by Quirky - Value $15

Verseur Multi Functional Wine Opener - Value $25

Both of these items from quirky have been on my "maybe I should buy" list for a while. The Verseur includes a foil cutter, a pour spout, an opener, and a tight-sealing stopper to preserve your wine. And the Vine wine bottle stabilizer keeps wine bottles from rolling around in the refrigerator. From Tyler:

Keep your wine bottles fresh and intact with this uniquely designed Vine by Quirky, The Vine is the ideal solution for anchoring your bottles in place so you never have to worry about them rolling in the fridge or creating any havoc. Now enjoy the most useful base around and remember "A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine."

Clear up some space in your claustrophobic kitchen drawers with the Verseur Mutli-Function Wine Opener. The 2012 Reddot Design Award winner is the ideal gadget for any wine enthusiast as it combines everything you need to open, serve and preserve your most prestigious wines.

I definitely don't have "prestigious wines." but I know this will go to use soon!

Rednek Sipper Glasses - Value $16

These Mason Jar glasses with straws are fun - I kind of wish they had handles though!

Enjoy the authentic hillbilly experience while staying hydrated with the classy Redneck Sipper Glass. It's perfect for summer while you're cooking up some July 4th BBQ or just hanging in the sun with the neighbors.

Burger Coasters - Value $5

These coasters aren't something I would go out of my way to buy, but I'm sure they will come in handy this summer!

Cocodrill Coconut Water Tap - Value $10

Flexicado Avocado Slicer - Value $10

This avocado slicer is great - it's a super practical item I didn't already have, and it's dishwasher safe! This CocoDrill is interesting, and it seems like it works well, but I'm not a huge coconut water drinker (I like adding it to smoothies but not on it's own). I also don't normally see coconuts at the grocery store, so I think I'll be gifting this item.

Mini Burger Press - Value $8

This dishwasher-safe mini burger press is designed for making sliders.  You just press the burger on the ground meat, and it forms perfect mini burgers!

Verdict: I think this is a really fun, summer-themed box. The June Tyler Florence box had about $90 worth of products, and I paid $39 plus $8 shipping. I'm very happy with the value of this box and the variety of items. What did you think of the June Tyler Florence Fancy Box? Which items will you definitely use?

The Tyler Florence boxes are my favorite subscription box, right now. I’ll use every gadget in this box. Well, not sure about the coco drill, but it makes me want to buy a coconut just to test it out.

Great box for summer – I think I am most impressed with Tyler’s Fancy Box, it seems to be the most “curated” and makes more sense than the others have. Enjoy your stuff!
