Barkbox Review & $10 Coupon - August 2013

BarkBox is one of our favorite subscription boxes - our dog absolutely loves it! The August 2013 box was a big hit for him too - all the treats were meat based!

Quaker Pet Group Hear Doggy Toy - Value $10

Apparently, this toy has a squeaker that only dogs can hear - making it perfect for pretty much any situation when you wish your dog would stop making all that noise with his squeaker toy! Our dog loves this toy - so even though I can't hear it, I'm assuming it really works!

Barkworthies Natural Hickory Beef Treats - Value $8

Primal Freeze Dried Liver Munchies - Value $10

Our dog loves both of these treats! I love that they are natural, and just meat - plus they are made in the USA and Canada and grain free!

Barkworthies Bully Flakes - Value $6

The Honest Kitchen Ice Pups - Value $1

These Bully Flakes may be a problem - our dog loves them so much that he is now demanding them on his food. I think we're going to have to buy these in bulk!

Verdict: We paid $19 for the August Barkbox (I definitely recommend doing the 6-month subscription for the savings), and this box had a value of $35! Not only that, all the treats included are made with top quality ingredients and are grain-free. I'm always very happy with the food products BarkBox selects for their boxes. What did you think of the August BarkBox? What was your pup's favorite item?

I am pretty sure that the bully flakes are some sort of highly addictive drug for dogs. My dogs lost their minds and ate their whole dish of food with just a sprinkle. I have already purchased more. PS, they both took medication with no fight, only because of a sprinkle of those flakes. PUPPY GOLD.

Ooh, I wish we had gotten that toy. The toy in our box was this neoprene dolphin with a ball in the toy and a squeaker, but the pup could have cared less about it. I am hoping the new puppy in the area is enjoying it, as I passed it on. Pity. That squeaker toy is cute.

My dog got the neoprene dolphin too but it was damaged. Had a hole in it and the stitching was undone. I wish we had received the toy pictured as well…

We don’t subscribe to Barkbox because our dogs are either old and sick, or have allergies. This would have been a great box, however, since the little dogs favorite toy is by Hear Doggy. We have the same whale.
