Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - October 2013

The past two Tyler Florence Fancy boxes have been good but not great in my opinion - but I'm happy to report that the October Tyler Florence Fancy Box is back to the level of awesome I expect from this subscription.

There are so many great items in this month's box!

Tyler Florence Over Mitt - Value $19

I love that there are lots of Tyler Florence items in this box! I can always use a new oven mitt every few months, so this will go to use ASAP!

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - October 2013

Tyler Florence California Cabernet Marinade - Value $7

Tyler Florence Brown Sugar Pork Rub - Value $5

Tyler recommends using this rub on pork, ribs, or even sweet potato fries! I'm excited to try both of these items, and I'm happy to see that they are made from all natural ingredients.

Fox Run Vintage Double Timer - Value $20

I love the vintage look of this timer, and even though our oven has a timer, I don't think it has a double timer, so I'm sure this will come in handy!

Art and Cook Zinc Positive Y Peeler - Value $9

Art and Cook Wide Grater - Value $12

I already have versions of both of these items in my kitchen, but these Art and Cook tools definitely seem more professional. Maybe it's time to upgrade my set!

Waiter's Friend by Gentlemen's Hardware - Value $20

I definitely don't need another wine opener, but I just love the packaging of this one! I think I'll end up gifting it with a bottle of wine as a hostess or housewarming gift.

Verdict: I really liked the October Tyler Florence Fancy Box. This month the value was over $90, and I love that there were three Tyler Florence items in the box! What did you think of the box this month?

I noticed other boxes got the skull shot glass instead of the peeler. I hope I get the peeler personally, but I’m guessing it’s because you already received the skull shot glass in another Fancy box. I haven’t, so I’ll probably get the glass, so we’ll see.

Looks like a great box. I always love kitchen stuff. I have this timer in red and use it all the time. Especially handy on days like Thanksgiving when you have a zillion things cooking at once.
