Her Fashion Box

Her Fashion Box is an Australian subscription box that just opened their subscriptions to ship worldwide - with no extra shipping costs! I immediately signed up for both their fashion box, and their new fitness box.

You can customize the fashion box by picking which style you like the best. (I looked at the past boxes section of their site and decided to go with the Classic style).

Her Fitness Box

The Subscription Box: Her Fashion Box and Her Fitness Box

The Cost: $39.95 (Australian dollars)

COUPON: Use code HFB5OFF to get $5 off your first month

The Products: The fashion box includes fashion and accessory items plus beauty products, and the fitness box includes fitness products, and deluxe health and wellness samples.

FYI  - I checked my bank account and the total I was charged is US dollars for each box was $30.68. (That's after I applied the coupon to each box).

What do you think of Her Fashion Box and Her Fitness Box? Are you going to sign up?

They charge $20 for shipping now, which with the five dollar off code, it brought my total to $54.95 and then it will be $59.95! Uuummmmm NOPE!!!! I’m not going to pay that much for their subscription especially since looking at photos of their past boxes, which only includes 2 to 3 accessories and 3 to 4 deluxe samples. At least Popsugar gives you full size and nicely valued accessories. I would pay $30 for a box like this, not $55. I’ve ordered overseas and I’ve never had a store charge me that much for shipping. I was excited to try a new box cause I’ve already tried so many and I probably have too many subscriptions as it is but it’s fun to try a new one.

Sorry… hit submit too soon.

What I meant was: Did anyone ever get the fitness box? I haven’t seen anything about it? Thanks.

Hi! Have you received this box yet? Can you please review it for us? I’d love to know what’s inside your first box. Found no other reviews of this box online

It will be interesting to see how you feel after receiving the Feb box. The Facebook page for the Her Fashion Box and Her Fitness Box show responses from people who are really disappointed. In particular they are questioning the value. I saw a blog where they listed what was inside and say that the company is counting a coupon for $30 off $130 purchase as part of the $110 value in the fitness box. And there is a lip gloss they value at $39 in the fashion box. Seems rather inflated.

Good to know – I can’t wait for my first box to arrive! 🙂

I received a charge for $30.68 and another for $0.31. Did anyone else received the second charge?

I got a response from the company about the discount code issue. They apparently didn’t intend for so many to take advantage of the $20 off code so they changed it to only apply to Australian residents. Some non Australians were able to take advantage of the code before they stopped accepting it and they haven’t decided whether those prices will still be honored. Others like me placed orders using the code and then they deleted the orders but didn’t give any notice. It just disappeared from my account a few hours after it went through. As excited as I was initially about this sub, this was enough to turn me off. It’s sketchy in my ok to offer a promo and then when it is very popular, change the eligibility rules but not tell those who already placed orders. Instead they just cancelled my order and said nothing, leaving it to me to chase down the reason why I didn’t receive a confirmation email. I can see stopping the discount if they were overwhelmed, but it’s not ok to delete orders and not even tell customers they did it until the customer is forced to ask about it. That’s the opposite of up front and transparent business practices. And that’s just too sketchy for me, whether they’re well established as this company seems to be or not, that’s a horribly dishonest way to do business. The email response where they admitted what they did was honest but only because I questioned them, and that’s not good. And they offered me nothing for the inconvenience of a deleted order, beyond saying I could use the $5 off code and order again. Um, no thank you. I have enough drama dealing with Glossybox these days. I’m very disappointed.

Can anyone else not see anything on their page? I click on the website, but all I see is a white, blank page…..

I’m going to give this one a try, Miranda Kerr is an Australian Victoria Secret model and my style icon! Hopefully this will be a great new fashion box. The previous boxes look so-so but I am hopeful that it is a good deal/value, I’m always on the lookout for new fashion boxes!! =)

I couldn’t resist the Fitness box, to at least see what it is like. Sad that I missed the coupon code, though! 🙁

Great find!! I can’t wait to see your first review. I have browsed the web and found a few other reviews, but I trust yours most. I think if I signed up it would be for the trendy or feminine box, but it’s kind of hard to say! I saw on the website that they had “mini” boxes…. I’m curious what all would come in one of those? It might be a nice way to try it out w/o shelling out too much cash right away. Hmm decisions, decisions!

Wow, awesome find LIz. This is a great deal , specially with free shipping from Australia. This box does a great job form what I see combing fashion and beauty. I think what I love is the fact that you get to try products and fashion trends from their. 🙂

I also can’t tell for sure when I will receive my first box: in Feb or Mar? As I understand it, if you order after the 20th of the month, you don’t receive your first month delivery the following month, but the one after, because they ship in the first half of each month. It just seems an odd set up where I’m paying but not seeing anything for almost 2 months.

Hm, when I placed my order it said I would be getting the February box, but I’m not sure when it will arrive. (Especially with overseas shipping).

Brandy @ MommySplurge

if you sign up & do not purchase you will get an offer for $20 off your box. The code I got was HFBLOVE.

Reply ButtonReply

lisa

That code only gave me $5 off.

Yesterday it was worth half off and today the same code from the same email to me was worth only $5. Their website is acting pretty wonky since I’ve never even gotten confirmation of the order I placed yesterday. I sent a message because I don’t want to buy a second by accident and if I have to redo the order I’d like a proper, functioning code for the advertised half off deal. I’ll share it if it ever works again (once I receive a response). I’m crossing fingers this new sub won’t let me down!

Jennifer

Thanks Brandy!

Tried to go back in and sign up and can’t even get into the site. I’m hoping it’s my iPad and not a site crash.

I’m so in! Firstly because I’m a fashionaholic. Secondly because I loved allof their past boxes! I love that they have such supply chain transparency and the brands are actually officially partnered with the sub, unlike some other subs have claimed that I’ve unfortunately tried (knock off makeup, items sourced from eBay and Amazon, expired products). Their website is well designed, easy to navigate and has tons of useful info. And they have a few attributes that elevate them over Social Bliss (another new sub for me) – you can select your style preference and the box is cheaper overall and not just due to a favorable exchange rate but because shipping is included in the sub price. The only thing I’m curious about is how long it will take to ship to the US from Australia. Have you heard anything?
