Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - January 2014 Review

Lip Factory is a monthly full-size makeup subscription box. They tend to send a variety of drugstore and mid-tier makeup, and the value seems to always be at least double the cost of the box. (Extra good news - they ship worldwide!)

Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - January 2014 One Stick

Be a Bombshell Cosmetics The One Stick in Girl Crush - FULL SIZE! Value $16

I am officially over getting Be a Bombshell cosmetics products in subscription boxes! (I know I subscribe to a lot of boxes, so I may be in the minority on this).

I was happy to see this lip gloss/stain/stick is paraben free!

Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - January 2014 Eyeshadow

Teeez Trendy Cosmetics Island Palette Eyeshadow - FULL SIZE! Value $16

This brand is new to me and I love the packaging! This blue is pretty intense for me though - it may go in the gift/swap pile.

Teeze Trendy Cosmetics Mysterious Crystal Eyeliner - FULL SIZE! Value $16

Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - January 2014 Sample

29 Cosmetics Preserves Skin Care Collection Grape Seed Age Protecting Sample Pack - Value $4

Verdict: I paid $22 for this box and received about $70 worth of makeup products. I'm not that thrilled with the small skincare samples, but I am always pleased with how much full size makeup they include with every box.

What did you think of the January Lip Factory box?

I’m actually glad you said: “I am officially over getting Be a Bombshell cosmetics products in subscription boxes!” Be a Bombshell products don’t impress me either.

Heads-up if you get the Wantable Makeup Box then – this is the update for February’s Wantable box:

https://www.wantable.com/boxes/makeup

“Wantable favorite, Be a Bombshell Cosmetics, is back with The One Stick. This smooth, all-in-one miracle can be used on cheeks, eyes, and lips to add a highlight or pop of color wherever your little heart desires.”

Ipsy costs $10 USD includes a one stick and they had it in December 2013. Lip Factory costs $22 USD and has a one stick and has it January 2014. Wantable costs $36 and includes the one stick and they have it February 2014. Is it just me or is this kind of tragic for Wantable?

Do they only accept PayPal? I tried to subscribe today with a debit card and it wouldn’t take that form of payment.
