Five Four Club Subscription Box Review - February 2014 Review

Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories.

My husband has been subscribing for over a year now and in general is very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value. (We've found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle's sizing if that helps!)

Five Four Club Subscription Box Review - February 2014 Black Tee

Five Four Oregon Graphic Tee - Value $32

I would say Five Four sends out a mix of branded and non-branded clothing items. Most pieces do have the FF logo on them though.

Five Four Cursive Graphic Tee - Value $32

Both of these shirts are made with 100% Cotton.

Five Four Club Subscription Box Review - February 2014 Hoodie

Five Four Bounty Zip Up Hoodie -Value $65

This hoodie is made with t-shirt material, so it's a thinner alternative to a traditional sweatshirt. I thought this was a good piece for spring, and it's 100% cotton as well.

Verdict: My husband liked all of the items this month, and I think $60 for 2 tee shirts and a hoodie is a good deal, so I'm happy with the value.

What do you think of Five Four Club?

Its February 2015 and they have not improved any. I signed up thinking it would be a nice and convenient way to shop. My card was charge right away and three weeks later still nothing to show for it or even anything in my order history to say it happened. There was never any confirmation but I am out the initial cost. Customer service does not answer the phones and usually end with it hanging up on you. I did email and of course have received the canned response back. Save your money, I should have known when the FAQ already state that they are receiving a heavy volumes of calls and wait times are long in an attempt to keep you from calling.

Sorely disappointed with the service of Five Four Club. Started a subscription in the beginning of February and was charged for it shortly thereafter (No issue there.) Mid-February rolls around and I still have yet to receive a single notification/confirmation from Five Four Club (Slight issue with this). I then email Customer Service twice but to no avail. Wait another week and finally see that my box is being “processed.” It is now March 4th and that status has yet to change.

I decide to call Customer Service to get to the bottom of it. No helpful information was learned from the nice rep. The usual “We had a bad month” blah blahness was fed to me. I was insulted by the suggestion to pause this month’s service and to resume in April, because that’s what I want to do: Get my monthly subscription box every other month.

Cancelled service before it even started. Now I’m waiting for the middle of MARCH to receive my FEBRUARY box.

Joined Fivefour at the end of December 2013. Received my first package a couple weeks later. Nice black jacket. It is now March 4th 2014 and I am still waiting on my second package…

This seemed like the ideal membership to be a part of, but my patience has grown weak. My second package hasn’t come yet and hasn’t even been shipped yet, but I was charged for this shipment over 2 weeks ago on February 16th. I especially don’t like being charged and having nothing to show for it.

I already dropped fivefour because their customer service was not even close to par. When cancelling my membership they didn’t even provide a good enough reason as to why it was taking so long. The monthly packages were turning into bi-monthly packages. Not what I signed up for.

The boo received a thin dark grey heather hoodie and 2 tees too (navy, and white), all plain with FiveFour logo (different from what you received). He was quite pleased with his box. I was going to quit if this month was no good butit looks like we will remain customers =) BTW, I am LOVING your swap site! Thank you so much for allowing to switch things that we have no use for for items that we would love.
