Nicely Noted Subscription Service Review - Feb 2014 Bear

Get Well Soon by Sycamore Street Press - Herber, Utah

Putting a bear on a card pretty much makes it awesome, but having that bear hold a get well soon sign is the best!

Nicely Noted Subscription Service Review - Feb 2014 Thanks

Thanks A Million by Wishbone Letterpress - Hudson Valley, NY

This month is all super practical cards with high design - I love it!

Nicely Noted Subscription Service Review - Feb 2014 Stamps

And every shipment comes with the stamps needed to send your cards!

Verdict: As usual, I love all the cards in my Nicely Noted shipment! The curation is excellent, and I appreciate that they source their cards from makers across the country. (Some of these cards were made exclusively for Nicely Noted too!) This subscription really isn't about value so much, but I think it is a great way to sample cards from independent Letterpresses!

What do you think of Nicely Noted?

Wow! I love this idea! All of those cards are great. I think it is WORTH the $ it costs to subscribe, but unfortunately my income is not as expendable as I would like it to be. If I had the extra $ I would for sure sign up.

i’m sorry I can’t see why anyone would buy this subscription unless they had money to throw away….i’m sorry to be negative but it just doesn’t make sense I guess I just don’t send that many cards and when I do I want to pick them out

Did they RAISE the price of this subscription? Didn’t it used to be $18 per month? And even that I thought was pricey. Ah well – maybe someday!

I’ve been watching your Nicely Noted reviews for some time. I think the price is reasonable if I like all three cards, but my concern was that I might only like one of two each month.

I feel I can safely say, after reading your reviews, that it looks like every box is a winner! I finally subscribed today. I look forward to sending out more real letters, and to always having a cute card on hand for any occasion!

These are lovely cards, but at about $6 a card, it seems a little pricy. I can spend the same amount at a papery store and enjoy picking up and touching each and every card in the process. Either if they sent more cards or lowered the price a bit, then I would love to sign up.

Yes, this is adorable but seems really expensive. It would definitely be a splurge. It would be fun, but I don’t think I could justify it.

I agree, I have seen some of the cards only priced $4 or $5 on the stationary company’s website.

Yes, I agree that at $6-7/card it’s almost as I would spend buying a nice card in a card store (though sometimes the hand crafted ones are more). The benefit for me will be the curation… receiving cute cards that I might not have picked out for myself, and having them delivered to my door. I hate shopping, especially having to run to the store for a card at the last minute. 🙂
