This smells wonderful and I love that they sent a full size scrub! It's a very indulgent item and I think it is perfect for a Mother's Day collection. I'm thinking about buying another box now so I can get more of this scrub (and maybe get a different scent - I really want to try the Toasted Coconut with Lime!)

Purlisse has been in quite a few subscription boxes lately, but I have no complaints since I like the brand a lot. And both of these products are free from ingredients like parabens and phthalates!

I was a little surprised to see that this bath soak was just loose in the box! I expected some kind of packaging, but I guess it arrived in one piece!

Verdict: This box has a value of almost $115, and I think it is a great deal for only $29. In fact I think I'm going to grab one for my mom (I already bought her a Birchbox Free for All box - so she's going to have a limited-edition-box kind of Mother's Day!)

Hello Liz and Co,

So, I am just getting to the contents of this box and noticed that the rose essence by Tata Harper has black/brown flecks in the bottom vial(the company sent me two vials, as one was damaged in shipping).
Anyway, one vial is clear and murky. Does anyone else have flecks(I am assuming dried rose petals)?

I know this is an old thread but if anyone knows the answer that would be great.

Ok so the wine code…. I have to buy 6 bottles and pay $10 shipping? That doesn’t seem that bad considering there are wines on the site that have great prices. Is that the case? Thanks in advance for the help!

Yep, that is the deal. I used on of these $50 gift cards last year, it came in a Goodies Co. Box. I believe there is some sort of monthly shipment sign-up they will try to get you to enroll in, but cancelling was real easy. I got my 6 bottles with no problem. It was actually so easy it had me commenting on how teenagers have it made these days…..when I was a teen we had to hang out in front of the liquor store until we could find someone to buy us a bottle 😉 Now, you just have to have a credit card and remember to check the box on the online order form saying “I’m 21 or over”. 🙂

I love this box! The scrub is the best product included. It’s huge and spa quality. I got the apple blossom fragrance and my sister got coconut lime. The purlisse is a really nice moisturizer but it’s for normal-dry skin and mine is slightly oily so I’m using it on my neck and chest, bc my face would break out otherwise. I didn’t get the code for the free 8 x 10, and the wine – well u have to buy a minimum of 6 bottles to redeem it plus pay shipping. So I’m not gonna bother with that since I’m not a big wine drinker

I really liked this box. However, my hair oil and face serum also leaked. I haven’t called the company to see if I could get a replacement vials. I think we all should, seeing as it does cut into the value of the gift. Aside from that issue, this box was a winner. I will keep my eye out for Total beauty boxes in the future.

Update!
I emailed the company on Friday (4/18)night regarding broken and leaking vials. On Monday(4/21) I came home and found a overnighted box with two replacements of each broken vial.

That is really great customer service! Will definitely be purchasing more Total Beauty in the future.

I did not get the wine gift card…and my rose oil bottle was completely smashed…in spite of not getting to enjoy either of those, I still loved this box!!!

I would love to get my mom one of these boxes! Unfortunately, she is such a tomboy. She could care less about lotions and masks and body scrubs. It makes mother’s day gifting a tad difficult. xD

I love this box! The only thing that was disappointing was that the liquid serum leaked during shipping and was empty upon arrival. The $50 wine gift card requires you to buy 6 bottles and pay $10 for shipping and they don’t ship everywhere.
