And it is just stunning!

Verdict: I think the Cate & Chloe subscription is a fantastic value for a jewelry subscription. I've also read in the comments from past reviews that the customer care team is very accommodating in taking your jewelry preferences and making sure you get pieces that fit your taste. (And it's fun getting two packages every month from a subscription!)

Have you tried Cate & Chloe yet? What do you think of it?

I think I’m gong to subscribe to this one. The pieces look so beautiful and wearable for everyday. And I love that some of their items are silver, which matches my skin tone better than yellow gold. I’ve been disappointed by my last few Wantable accessories boxes, so maybe it’s time for a switch.

Wow! I just found out about this box through your website, Liz! The pieces look great, sadly, the promo code you posted is no longer valid. I would love a box, but think I will wait until I can afford more than one month.. the pieces are beautiful.

Hi All!

First, thank you so much for another great review, Liz! : ) And thank you everyone for the very informative comments! It is always great to do some research before signing up for a new subscription and we’re so glad to see that our new VIPs have been so informed!

I also want to share with the group that our VIP team is happy to accommodate any requests made by our members. The program is tailored to you and we encourage you to share your style preferences with us! We have a very diverse group of VIP members and therefore, we do tend to stick to the simpler/more delicate pieces as these are generally the most well received by the majority (although we try to mix it up every now and then ; ) .) If you would prefer to receive more bold, statement pieces rather than just the simple/classic stuff, just let us know! You can share your style preferences with us by emailing our team at [email protected]

I really like the necklace. I had been debating trying Wantable Accessory Box until I saw this review. Any advice on which is better in terms of quality and consistency Wantable or Cate & Chloe? I’m looking for necklaces, bracelets and earrings specifically.

I’ve gotten wantable, and I was disappointed every time but the first time. And they don’t swap out individual pieces, only the whole box. Plus, you only get one a month. I’ve had two C&C pieces fall apart on me, but the C&C team has replaced them.

I’m a recent subscriber to both Wantable Accessories and Cate & Chloe. I’ve experienced excellent customer service by both. Wantable replaced a slightly damaged bracelet (with a scarf) and Cate & Chloe replaced a rose-gold piece that I wasn’t fond of. Cate and Chloe asked me which piece I wanted to receive in exchange, which I thought demonstrated exceptional customer service.

On to actual quality of the merchandise. My opinion is that Cate and Chloe jewelry is much better quality overall. The jewelry is more delicate and classic, while Wantable is a little more bold and daring (not always successfully so).

I am lucky enough to also own several “real” quality diamond pieces…and except for the chains, the Cate & Chloe pieces I’ve received would fool most people (if that was the goal). I’m sure over time Cate & Chloe pieces will not hold up as well as the real thing–but I now work in an environment where wearing the real gems is almost inappropriate.

I’ve recently purchased some statement pieces from Your Bijoux Box–and I know that nobody will think those are real diamonds. Buying jewelry of “various” qualities will let me rotate my “real” pieces into my everyday life, which is my specific strategy. If you’re looking for subtle, beautiful, jewelry at a reasonable price, I think Cate and Chloe wins hands down. If you want fun/funky pieces then you might like Wantables “grab bag” approach. Though I filled out a profile that says I like “classic” style jewelry, I’ve yet to receive a piece that is classic (leading me to wonder which of us doesn’t understand the concept of “classic) 🙂

I really look forward to receiving Wantable because they think outside the box and they’re fun. I wouldn’t mistake a single thing they’ve sent me as being high quality. Cate and Chloe is always elegant and not much of a surprise. I also don’t have the same level of anticipation with C&C. I know it’s going to be great but I’m looking for the unusual and I don’t think C&C hits that mark. I will probably cancel my C&C subscription before my June shipment. But it has nothing to do with their quality.

Hope that helps!

Extremely helpful!! Thanks for taking the time to respond so thoroughly. Now I just have to decide what I’m looking for. I think I may subscribe to C&C for a month or two since I have zero jewelry and then move to Wantable. Hmmmm…decisions, decisions… 🙂

I can’t speak to Wantable but if you want to know what Cate & Chloe is going to be like, take a look at their website. While at least one item you get a month is pre-release, there are some similarities among their offerings that match up with other blog reviews I’ve seen. And they seem to have a pretty liberal exchange policy if you get something you don’t like. (Although I haven’t tested that out yet.) Lots of delicate stuff and CZ, and more silver-tone than other colors, though they’ve got a new rose gold collection, too.

I really like the leaf necklace. Not fond of the other necklace. That is the reason why I’ve been hesitant to sign up for boxes that only have 2 items. I can’t see myself buying a box that I might only like 50% of it’s contents. If they did 3 items I would consider subscribing.

Great delicate pieces. Are these from the February collection? You said they sent you the February box for review. Also, I’d love to see the leaf necklace on the bust if you have a picture of that. It looks very long, so it’s hard to tell how it will fall

Most jewelry subscription boxes are over the top and something I wouldn’t ever really wear. I love this box, it’s something you can actually wear with your everyday attire. 🙂
