Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review - June

Lip Factory is a monthly full-size makeup subscription box. They tend to send a variety of drugstore and mid-tier makeup, and the value seems to always be at least double the cost of the box. (Extra good news – they ship worldwide!)

Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Lip Gloss

ModelCO Shine Ultra Lip Gloss in Marshmallow - Value $16

29 Cosmetics Line Marker Lip Pencil in Jammy - Value $23

This lipgloss has a lovely scent, it isn't too sticky (it is a little sticky though), and it adds shine but not really any color - which is fine with me. This Lip Pencil on the other hand is a color that I just can't pull off (I can't do orange-reds), so it will be gifted or swapped.

Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Eye Liner

ModelCO Eye Define Eye Pencil - Value $18

Girlactik Eye Shadow in Penny - Value $19

I think I pay end up swapping both of these items - the black eyeliner is just an item I have so much of that I don't think I would get to this one in the next year or two! And I don't think copper is my favorite eyeshadow shade for my skin tone and eyes, (plus I already have a few copper shades in palettes).

Lip Factory Beauty Subscription Box Review - June 2014 Be Fine

Palladio Nail Sunscreen - Value $6

Befine Food Skin Care Lip Serum - Value $10

This nail sunscreen is a UV top coat that prevents your nail polish color from fading in the sun. And I love that this lip serum is paraben and fragrance free, but I just didn't find it as moisturizing as I was expecting - I'm better off with my regular lip balms.

Verdict: I spent $22 on this box and received about $92 worth of products! (I actually double checked my math on this box since they value seems ridiculously high!) I think Lip Factory is a great makeup box if you want a lot of full size products at a relatively low cost.

What do you think of the June Lip Factory box?

I got the ModelCo in Rose – it looks incredibly bright, but goes on pretty sheer and day appropriate. My Girlactik was Pink Ruffle, which was somewhat of a pearlized pale pink – shiny, not overly pigmented, and pearly without being too frosted. I may swap out about half of this box though.

I got the same gloss color and had the same opinion. I’ll probably use it over stains for added shine. My lip pencil was a dark brownish color. I’ll probably use it but I don’t have any lip colors that will work with it right now. (Will wait to get one in a box or perhaps it’s an excuse to go shopping.) I got the nail strengthener instead of the top coat. Will try the eyeliner although I’m more into liquids (maybe I haven’t found the right pencil yet, though?). My eyeshadow was a deep blue — not sure I can pull that off but we’ll see. I did change my profile to get more bold colors and they seem to be paying attention to that, at least.
