Horror Block Subscription Box Review - July 2014 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review - July 2014 Shirt

The Frog Brothers Vampire Hunters T-Shirt - Value $18?

Each Horror Block comes with a t-shirt - all the shirts we've received from Horror Block are 100% cotton and hold up very well in the laundry!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review - July 2014 Sharknado

FUNKO POP Vinyl Sharknado - Value $12

Zumbies Walking Thread - Value $9

Thanks to Loot Crate and Nerd Block, my husband has become a bit of a POP Vinyl collector, so any POP Vinyl figure is always a win for us. We haven't seen Sharknado or Sharknado 2 yet, but it's a pretty fun figure even without seeing the movies! (Apparently there's another version of this POP Vinyl that has blood splatter and is very rare).

Horror Block Subscription Box Review - July 2014 Nightmare

The Nightmare Before Christmas Trading Figure - Value $5

Horror Block Subscription Box Review - July 2014 Pins

Alien Pin Pack - Value $3?

Rue Morgue Magazine - Value $10

Rue Morgue was also included in the first Horror Block - I wonder if it's going to be a staple in the box?

Verdict: We paid about $30 for this box and received almost $60 worth of products. The value is definitely good this month, but like with all HorrorBlock, NerdBlock and LootCrate boxes - any month can be hit or miss depending on whether they include items from movies/tv shows/etc. that you love. This month was a miss for us, but we'll be swapping a few of the items!

What did you think of Horror Block this month?

So jealous of that shirt. Looks like last months box was perfect for me. Shame I only just found out about it. Looks like I know which new box to sign up for.

I signed up for this box from the start, and I can tell it’s one of the subscriptions that I’ll be keeping for a while! I’ve loved everything in both boxes! The t-shirts have both been great so far- I hope Horror Block keeps up the good work!

This box was a total win for us – I order it for my 15 year old son, but always want to steal items from it. I wanted everything in the box this month, but ended up with just the Shark. He has watched the Lost Boys, so he actually got the shirt reference. I think almost anyone who was a teen in the 80’s would love that shirt!

I would want that box just for the t-shirt! 🙂

My 15 year old son and I love Sharknado. Sharknado 2 came out this week. It’s the type of movie that is so bad that you can’t help but love it. Love the shark.

Love the shark…really cute (though not what you want from a horror box lol!)
