New Beauty Test Tube is a bi-monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. Every other month they send you a tube full of deluxe and full size beauty samples and you also get a subscription to New Beauty Magazine. It’s a little pricier than other beauty subscriptions, but in general the value is usually incredible. (FYI – this is a different subscription from the QVC New Beauty Test Tube which ships every quarter).
This month my box showed up earlier than I expected. (I'm used to getting a tracking email and waiting weeks for the box to arrive!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
Usually the beauty products arrive in a tube, but this month they included a note that there were too many products to fit in the tube - fine by me!
The Subscription Box: New Beauty Test Tube
The Cost: $29.95 a box plus $8.95 shipping (ships every other month)
The Products: Deluxe and full size beauty products. (This subscription also includes a subscription to New Beauty Magazine).
Ships to: US only

Each New Beauty Test Tube comes with a booklet thoroughly detailing each product included.
First up I had to open the Equitance box. (A box within a box is a subscription addict's dream).
Equitance Brightening Collection Trial Kit - Value $37
I really like the idea of getting to try an entire skincare regiment to see if it's a good fit for you. Some of the samples are a little small (the SPF is the tiny foil packet in the bottom left corner), but I'd saw you can get at least a few days use out of the other items. (This set includes a cleanser, toning lotion, serum, cream, SPF, and dietary supplements).
Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Nourishing Body Lotion - 100 ml Value $14
Avene Thermal Spring Water - 50 ml Value $4
This is the largest Molton Brown sample I've seen in a subscription box - a third of the size of the full size version! And I love getting water mists in subscription boxes - they're such a luxurious treat!
It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product - 2 oz Value $10
YBF Perfect Prep Face Primer - .5 oz Value $10
I've received It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product from New Beauty Test Tube before, and it really does make your hair super soft - I'm happy to have more. And I like the YBF brand a lot, so this primer will be used as well. (FYI - the primer was not listed in the info sheet, so I'm guessing there may be some product variation).
Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C BB Serum Packets - Sample
Miracle 10 Cosmetics Aha Gentle Exfoliating Cream - 10 ml Value $12.80
When I see the word exfoliating, I think that means I would wash off the product after using it, but this cream doesn't have exfoliating beads. Instead it uses lactic acid to gently exfoliate the top layer of skin. (You're supposed to apply a thin layer to your skin at night). I'm happy to read that it is free of parabens and fragrances, but I still need to find the ingredients listed online somewhere before I use it!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $88. I'm not sure how I feel about the skincare sampler kit contributing to almost half the value, but in general I'm happy with the products selected this time - even though a few of the brands have been in past boxes. I'm also happy to see not a lot of lower-end drugstore brands this month.
