Bare Bliss Box Subscription Review - September 2014 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

Bare Bliss Box Subscription Review - September 2014 Lip Balm

S.W. Basics Vegan Cocoa Lip Balm - FULL SIZE! Value $4

Palmetto Derma Retinol & peptide Infused Lifting Eye Cream - .125 oz Value $7

I love all things that smell like chocolate, so I will be using this lip balm all the time!

Bare Bliss Box Subscription Review - September 2014 Oil

Kosmatology Botanical Bliss Lotion Bar in Lavender Eucalyptus - .35 oz Value $1.25

Renaissance Beauty Rejuvenating Facial Oil - .5 oz Value $12.50

I love this lotion bar! It has a wonderfully natural lavender scent, and you can apply it without getting your hands too lotion-y. I tried the facial oil out on my hand and it seems good (doesn't absorb quickly though). I can't exactly describe the scent since there are so many essential oils in the mix!

Bare Bliss Box Subscription Review - September 2014 Adorn

a dorn Nail Polish in Beautiful and Damned - FULL SIZE! Value $11

I love this nail polish shade! It's a dark red-wine burgundy creme, and has a bit of a vampire vibe!

Bare Bliss Box Subscription Review - September 2014 Yogi

Yogi Tea Packets - Value $1

Aromaflage Fragrance and Insect Repellent - Sample Value $1?

I'm a big fan of Yogi organic tea! I think I'll start my day tomorrow with the Cinnamon Vanilla! And I've sampled this Aromaflage before - it is such an interesting product! It's part insect repellent, and part perfume - AKA just insect repellent that doesn't smell bad. I'll probably buy a full size version next summer.

Verdict: This box cost $17 and has a value of about $38 - I'm impressed. One thing I should mention that I learned from Anna's comment is that the facial oil was only included for the first 100 people who bought the box. (Very weird to include it on a card that goes to all subscribers). With that being said, I'd put the value at $26 if you're thinking about signing up for the next box.

What do you think of the first Bare Bliss Box?

Me too 🙂 Now waiting for Liz review

I am too. The second box wasn’t quite what I expected, but I want to see what her take is on it.

I was *supposed* to receive mine today. But I did not.

Kind of sad that something can’t make it 10 miles (where I live compared to where the box ships from) but it can make it to another state. But that’s the Atlanta post office for you.

I was wondering why you haven’t posted anything. I think out of the 2 boxes that the first is my favorite because of the nail polish and lip balm. I’ll never understand the postal system. I usually receive my boxes a day later than Liz even though we are in the same general area.

Subscribers – check your emails. Bare Bliss sent out a short survey to customize this month’s box.

I signed up for a discounted 3 month subscription of $12.99 a month and am very happy with the box at that price. I’m not sure it would be worth it at the full price. I got Sail on Silver Girl in the nail polish, a silver, glittery shade that I really like. Unfortunately, I can’t use my lotion bar (scented with grapefruit oil) or the perfume because of skin sensitivities. I wish the company let subscribers fill out a questionnaire/taste preference checklist so that the boxes could be a little more tailored. Other than that, I am very pleased with my box and am excited for the next one!

I signed up at the special rate for 12.99/mn when you got a 3m sub. I’m very pleased with the first box. I love nail polish and mine was a deep oxblood creme “Beautiful and Damned” – love it!!! I was most excited about the Palmetto Derma eye cream – and I’m totally loving that too!! I contacted the company via email and their customer service is AMAZING!!!! Thinking this is a box I will be sticking with! 🙂

I also emailed them last week because I got 2 boxes when I only subscribed once. They didn’t answer so I’m assuming they don’t want it back??!!

Bare Bliss sent an email with discount codes for the full-size products. I can’t believe I am typing this, but I am thinking about buying more A Dorn nail polish which has free shipping. I might buy other items later in the month, but the nail polish is what caught my eye.

I ordered 2 A Dorn nail polishes on Saturday which arrived today. They look great! Also the padded envelope arrived with the ORM-D sticker on it. I remember reading a discussion about shipping nail polish via USPS and the sticker.

I got the 3 months for $40 which i think is a pretty good deal. I do think I will cancel after the 3 months though because I do love natural/organic products but I realize I like more well know brands like, tarte, pacifica, juice beauty, etc.

Mine is the same as yours. I got the face oil too. But the big disappointment was that the nail polish is a muddy green color. It took me a while to figure that it is a nail polish. It looks like the color of my husband’s blended veggie drink yuck! I do not know who I would even re gift it to. I bought a 3 month sub too.

Ha I got the same color, and I loved it!

I think I paid less than $17 for the box (but I bought a multi-month subscription because there was a discount). I got the blemish lotion (was surprised I was one of the first 100) but that is probably a better fit for me, anyway. I’m trying to get over my fear of facial oils…

I love the nail polish shade, too, and the formula seems good (only minimal chips after 2 days which is remarkable for me). Only I am having some trouble with the handle part popping off the brush (so I unscrew the lid and the brush is still in the bottle). This led to me having a little accident and having to wipe wet nail polish off my table and laptop. Oops. I’ll be more careful next time.

I love my box! I received everything the same except I received the Hydrating Blemish Therapy Lotion instead of the facial oil and the nail polish color is Olive You Long Time which is a fall green. I painted my toes the same day as receiving the box and love the color. The cocoa balm scent reminds me of being at Hershey Chocolate World. Another win! Can’t wait to try the Blemish Therapy Lotion which is for people who have acne or rosacea. Looking forward to trying the lotion and eye cream.

Sharing the love by giving the tea to my sister who bought a beautiful teapot recently. The back has a coupon.

FYI – I did not received a shipping confirmation although it did arrive 🙂

This is off topic, but on Beauty Bar’s Facebook I just saw a coupon code for new subscribers to get their first Sample Society box for only $10 (for next month). It’s code 5FORYOU

Liz Cadman

Thanks for the heads up – they never do coupon codes! Awesome!

Ashley (PiqueintheBox)

I am picky about nail polish shades, but I received this same color, and it is STUNNING! Instead of the facial oil, I received the blemish solution (it was either, or). I also received a different lip balm and lotion bar. I loved my first box and will continue this subscription for a while!
