FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Info

Each box comes with a fold out card detailing all the items included.

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Apron Folded

Jessie Steele Apron – Value $32

A few weeks ago I got an email to pick which color apron I wanted. (I think this is because I've been subscribing since the first box). I went with black and white since it seems pretty classic!

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Apron

These aprons are cute and well-made. I may end up swapping for a few more to use as holiday gifts!

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Lip Gloss

Beauty for Real true Color Lip Cream in Always There – Value $24

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster – Value $56

This lip cream has a built in mirror in the cap and it lights up too. I have a lot of lipgloss right now, so I think I'll pass this along to a friend.

I've read great reviews of this dermalogica skin hydrating booster, and I'm excited to give it a try - especially since it is free of parabens and synthetic fragrances and colors!

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Socks

CHI 44 Iron Guard – Value $15

Great Soles Pink Ribbon Ballet Barre Ped – Value $13

I love these socks! They are pretty thin, have grippy soles, and perfect for workouts like yoga, or just walking around the house! And for every set of the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness socks that are sold, Great Soles will donate $3. There is also an offer for FabFitFun fans to get 2 pairs of socks free when they purchase 3. Just sign up here for your unique coupon code.

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Soap

LaNatura Travel Size Body Butter in Green Tea – Value $18

The Honest Co. Hydrating Shea Butter Cleansing Bar – Value $5

I've already tried and use the Honest Co. soap, so while it wasn't a new discovery for me, it's always nice to have a spare. The LaNatura body butter was new to me though and I couldn't wait to try it. Turns out, it's not the typical type of body butter I expected - aka a thicker cream than a lotion. Instead it's more of a balm. A little goes a long way, so that explains why the container is somewhat shallow. I think I like the scent too - I haven't decided yet!

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Set

Gramr Gratitude Co. Thank You Card Set, Sealing Wax, & Wax Press – Wax Press Value $25, Cards Value $16, Sealing Wax Value $4

This is a set of cards, complete with a wax press and sealing wax. I think it's a pretty unique item to include in a subscription box, and I like it! Here are the four cards I received:

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Cards

Each card is a like a postcard (it's not a folded card).

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Numi

Numi Organic Tea (sponsored)

Mary’s Gone Crackers (sponsored)

These are the two sponsored items in the box this quarter. I think the choice of sponsored items is much better than the sponsored items in the summer box! (I love Numi tea, and these crackers were pretty good!)

FabFitFun VIP Fall 2014 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Coupon

This box also came with a coupon to get 25% off your first Honest Company order - use coupon code HONESTLYFAB. And there is also a 3-month subscription to FitFusion. (You do have to enter credit card info for the 3-month trial though).

Verdict: I think the Fall FabFitFun VIP box is a really good box. I like that they included some unique items this season like the apron and card set, and the beauty items of course are great too. (And the value is awesome - over $200 not counting the FitFusion 3-month trial!) If anything I'd like to see more "Fit" items from this box.

What do you think of the Fall FabFitFun VIP Box?

Well – I just received my box, and I’m in love!
Even after all of the confusion and annoyance of their computer glitch with my address, I forgive them.
Every single item in this box is high quality and actually something I will get a lot of use out of.
I used the code they provided and ordered additional socks from Great Soles.
Overall – this has been my favorite box since I started this addiction three months ago. Lol

I didn’t see a code for the socks!

Blessedmommi

Hi Michelle S. There wasn’t a code given in the box. On the box was a website that you go to, it will prompt you to enter your email and then they email you a code with 3 options 20% off $60 or more buy two get one free. Buy 3 get two free. Or something along those lines I forget. The address should be listed on the card attached to the socks!

Sher

Does anyone know anything about the FabFitFun Welcome Box? Is this a regular practice of theirs … to send you a Welcome Box when you subscribed for the Winter box? It looks like they then charge you for two boxes close together, is that correct?

So let me start off by saying I really loved this box. That’s why I ordered a second one, hoping to gift most of the items to my mom. But I received an e-mail giving me someone else’s full name, address, an tracking info. I tried for weeks to contact FFF by e-mail and Facebook and I got nothing. My credit card was charged, but my box was nowhere to be found. I called FFF just now and was told they messed up my e-mail address, and sent my box to this other person whose info I received, which I paid for. They are sending me a new box and giving me a $10 credit, but I just wanted to let everyone know in case they are experiencing similar issues. They had no idea the boxes were switched and that I was paying for someone else’s box, nor would they answer any e-mails, and I was sending one a day in the hopes of getting and answer. If you ordered the box please check your e-mails and credit card to make sure everything is ok, and if all else fails call them, it’s the only way they will respond!

Sorry forgot to post the number, it’s 1.855.313.6267. I hope everyone can get through and get their boxes! And most of all, I hope no one else’s information was compromised like mine was, along with the other person whose info I received.

Deborah

That is exactly what happened to me – although I never received a response. On a positive note my second box was a gift also and it did (finally) reach the correct person.

Michelle S

Thanks Jennifer. I updated the status awhile ago. A long story short when I sent them a pm on facebook they responded right away and sent my box fedex and I received today. I believe they are offering everyone $10-15 off next month who has had problems. This is my favorite but I hate going through this every month.

Michelle S

My fall box was shipped today FedEx straight to my house and I do appreciate this gesture of goodwill, skipping the post office stop so it will arrive sooner.
I just don’t know what to do about this sub. I feel bad for some of the people that work there and I try to remember that they are employees and have no control over a lot of things and I am guessing like PSMH, they too are understaffed.
The thing is, I went through the same shipping problem thing with the summer box. Although I am not crazy about the fall box FFF is still ahead of PSMH. IMO
All of these problems with subs lately has me rethinking. But The thing is they are so much fun.

My next hurdle is shipping of the Andrew Zimmern box. Sigh.

*Update
I went to their Facebook page last night and sent a private message (someone on here had suggested this – thank you)!
I received a response within 15 minutes and they are shipping my box out immediately.
They are also taking $15.00 off my next box.
They had a computer glitch and my address field was blank.
Thank you so much Liz for your willingness to help straighten this out for us.
That was so kind of you. ☺

Leza, this is what I received…..I wish I could be as confident as you! I am concerned they are not being honest, but here is what they wrote….:

Thank you for your inquiry. We have discovered that some of our packages have been stuck in processing, yet the issue will be fixed today and you shall receive a new tracking number soon. We are shipping out new boxes for all “initiated” boxes, once your new box leaves the warehouse, you will be receiving tracking information.

We are very sorry for the delay. Also, due to the trouble with your box, we are willing to offer you $10 off of your next box, would you be willing to take us up on that offer?

They have yet to respond to any of my inquires but lol and behold I just got a box out of no-where. Unfortunately, it makes me feel that I got the left-over no-one wanted though and I would have rather just skipped it this time. The apron wasn’t the color i requested and chips were a crushed mess, it was also thrown together, not like their usual packaging. I just don’t seem to have good luck with this subscription unfortunately.

Michelle S

Wow, that’s wonderful! I haven’t heard a word and I sent a message through Facebook too. lol, I probably made so much trouble I will never get anything. I’m not a fan of this month either but I can use a couple of things. My apron, should I have received it, was going to be put on the swap page. my concern is about disputing the charge with my cc co as I paid the $70 through Rue LaLa and I received one box. I am going to report them to the better business bureau for all that will do if I don’t hear anything by the end of next week. that’s being more than fare.

Michelle S

Thank you for posting your update! Can you please update when you receive you box? I have a bad feeling and I just don’t trust them right now. I just sent them a pm but I am guessing they are closed now.
Thanks Leza

I am apparently not alone in my quest to reach this company.
I still have not heard back from their customer service department.
It’s been close to a month since they charged me for this subscription box.
The problem is complete lack of communication. They are not reaching out to me with any kind of explanation as to why I have not received the goods I paid for.
Liz….what do you suggest we do?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle S

I am so angry at this non response attitude. Liz if you have any pull with them can you please give us some advice. They won’t pick up the phone or respond to emails.
Thanks,
Michelle

Just emailed my contact at FabFitFun to find out what’s going on and see how to best get in touch with customer care. I will update as soon as I hear back. Sorry to hear about this 🙁

Michelle S

I am having the same issues as many are and I am so frustrated, and now that I have seen the other posts worried and angry. Are they going out of business? Do they not have enough fall boxes? Otherwise, why wouldn’t they respond? I called once (got recording) and emailed several times. Nothing.

This same thing happened to me with the summer box, however, they handled much differently. They picked up the phone and answered my emails and eventually box received.

I am not sure what to do because I got the two for $70, so I don’t know how I can dispute the charge. If I don’t hear anything by Nov 1, I’m calling my cc co.

Can anyone who gets through or receives their box please post? Many thanks!

Jennifer

I just got through by calling their toll-free number. I’ve been trying for weeks, but this finally worked. Call 1.855.313.6267.

I am feeling very frustrated with this company.
I signed up in September and they took payment out of my checking on September 22nd.
I have yet to receive my subscription box.
I called customer service and got their automated answering service and I left a message.
I have also sent an email and received an automated reply back saying they will get back with me.

I really don’t know what my next step should be.

Reply ButtonReply

Deborah

I still have not heard from them…
I sent them an email and called on October 9th…
5 days later I still have not heard from them….
How long should a customer wait???

Deborah

I loved this box so I ordered an additional one as a birthday gift for a friend. I had the box sent to her home address. I received an email that the order had shipped. Well, the box was going to someone completely different andin another state. In fact the order number was wrong. I sent an email to customer service with all the pertinent information. I received a reply that the email had been received and I would hear from them. That was three days ago. I called the customer service phone number and received an automated answer. I left a message. I apologize for the length of this but wanted to put in everything I had already attempted. Has anyone had to deal with fabfitfun customer service before? How were they? Thank you for the help and information.

I haven’t had to deal with their CS before, but I have gotten wrong tracking numbers from other companies. I hope you get an answer from FFF soon, but the box you ordered may still be on the way to the right destination!

Deborah

Thank you!

PA Anna

I sent them an email on Sept 29th and received a response on Oct 6th. It might work out for you being that it is the wrong order number. It sounds like they sent the wrong tracking information to you.

Word of advice to anyone trying the wax sealing — practice first. There’s more wax than you’ll need and my first attempt, on something I actually plan to send, doesn’t look all that wonderful. (It’s OK.) I’m thinking it’ll get beat up during mail processing, anyway, but we’ll see.

Reply ButtonReply

Jillian D

Oh my gosh, yes! The wax is for many uses! You only need a little bit for each seal. In fact, they gave you more than 4 uses. They should have included instructions as I think that I might be one of a very few people that has actually ever used sealing wax. It’s kind of hard to describe how much to use. Let it drip until you have a small bubble. It might even look like it isn’t enough, but when you press down, you’re going to spread it out and you want it to be pretty flat. Too thick and it won’t dry nicely.

Helen

Lol, thanks for the warning Sneaky. I had an idea this will be something of a learning curve so I’ll practice a little first!

I was just looking where to purchase more of Mary’s Gone Crackers and found there was a very recent recall of this product due to people with nut allergies. It does say it was most recently found to be a false-positive test but it looks like there were over 1400 complaints regarding this. If you have a nut allergy, I encourage you to research it more before you eat any. I don’t have a nut allergy so am going to order more but just wanted to pass the info on in case it was not posted anywhere else on this site. I did not read every comment made so please delete this post if it is a repeat.

What a great box! I got the white apron with black polka dots. I love everything. The card set is especially lovely. The dermatologica is so refreshing. I also loved the add on items this time. Much better than the gross slim fast bar in the last box!

Loving the ballet-themed socks and the retro apron. This looks like a really great box…maybe if a few of my other boxes don’t work out I will subscribe; thanks for the review Liz!

My favorite item from the fall box is the dermalogica skin hydrating booster! I enjoyed almost everything that was included this time, but that was my fave 🙂

I got mine yesterday. Not much to report — I got the pink apron with white polka dots. It’ll work. Especially since I don’t entertain and no one will see it outside my kitchen. Sadly, I had to cancel this one too because of car issues. But at least I got to enjoy it once, and maybe one day I can sign up again. (I know at least two people who are getting thank you notes ASAP for all their help with my car issues. So those couldn’t have come at a better time.)

My fingernails are practically bitten down to the wrist!
I still haven’t received my FFF box yet. Today, Saturday 4th, it was handed over to FedEx in LA. I’m in Maryland so I’m guessing the end of the week?
But I really, really, really want the pink and gold apron. If my box doesn’t come soon, there won’t even be any left to swap for. Aaargh!!

I love the chi spray! Wish I had a subscription to this box. It’s chalk full of awesome swag!

The body butter I received was green tea, it smells great. Not like I imagined body butter would smell. My boyfriend even liked it. As for the soap, I do not care for the scent of lavender and I always imagined that I would but after purchasing a relaxing bath essential/oil bubbles I found the scent is very relaxing for sure but not pleasant.

The body butter is okay; kind of greasy and doesn’t desolve easy so you just need the tiniest dab. I prefer normal body butter or lotion but it’s different for me and nice for extra dry areas.

The lip gloss is a bit too dark for me. It almost reminds me of a lipstick the way it feels; not sticky but not like a gloss or balm either. It even wears like a lipstick for me. I used a small amount because it’s so dark. I think the mirror and light is super neat. The socks are okay, fun to wear around the house and cute. I like the grippers. They would make super cute hospital socks from the ugly ones they have. Lol!

I haven’t tried the Chi. I haveso many flat iron sprays. I tend to buy those along with anti frizz creams or oils/sprays more than anything but I’m glad it’s a hair item that I can use and not Shampoo.

I like the Apron, It’s super cute. I already finished the few crackers and hot tea. Those were both okay. It was a super fun unboxing. Anytime I get any snack from anywhere it’s usually something my hubby has never tried and he’s very experimental. He snacks on everything I get and he’s a junk foodie so I.couldn’t wait to see his expression with these. Heehee. I gave him a few; he ate the first one and said gross but just kept eating the last few and said the last two didn’t taste as bad as the first. Grows on you. Something I know he won’t eat everyday but I was surprised he ate them. Food from the mail got him. Lol. We shared the popchips last month too. It.makes it fun with him being there for the treats. Fun unboximg.

Oh and I was forgetting about my most favorite item. The demalogica is different; watery like but refreshing to the skin. Not really moisturizing but kinda hard to explain hydrating and refreshing.

Although I don’t love everything, I’ll definitely use every item and think I’ve used everything but the Chi Spray and the apron. I used the lip gloss one. I was tickled by the lighted mirror, a luxury I never had and had to show my hubby and he thought it was neat. Definitely a fun box! 🙂

Brandy

Oops. I meant not like I imagined green tea would smell. 🙂 Nice scent.

I got the light pink/white apron…Brown would have been my first pick actually. I also got Avocado scent for my lotion tin. I do think the lipstick is a little dark for my skin tone but the rest I guess I will wait an see. Not a bad deal, but not overly thrilled with it.
