I think Bianca's letter for this box is the most personal and honest letter from Quarterly I've read yet! To quote Bianca, "In 2007, I found myself lost and unhappy. This lip gloss packaging is fun - but probably not the most practical in terms of being able to access all the product. I've never finished a lipgloss in my life though, so that's fine!

Bianca included this book since she re-reads it every year. To quote Bianca's letter, "It's a quick and entertaining read for people who aim to be exceptional and leave their mark on this world. That's YOU!"

I started a few pages just to get the vibe of the book, and I love that it's only 80 pages - so many inspirational books can be long thanks to filler or repetition, so I'm excited to read this one in hopefully a few hours!

Verdict: I paid $50 for this box and received about $230 worth of products! I think this may be her highest value box to date! I'll use everything, and I already made one great new discovery in Cake & Whiskey magazine, so I'm thrilled with this box. What did you think of #MIZ04?

This is a great looking box! Excellent value and a really nicely curated and wide selection of items (and no purlisse)! 🙂 I want to give that magazine to every woman I know!

However, as a physical therapist, what I really wish for is a purely fitness box. No jewelry, no snacks, no supplements, etc. Just fitness. Like maybe one month (or one quarter) all about yoga (DVDs, information, link to some sort of online trainer, suggested workout schedule with checkoff options either paper or online, maybe a book about yoga or of yoga exercises, possibly one clothing item, yoga mat or blocks etc), and one about Pilates, one about weight training, one about plyometrics, one about running, etc etc etc. Maybe you could skip a month that had an exercise type you aren’t interested in. You know? Is there such a thing??

I haven’t seen a box like that. I would be up for it, too. All the “fitness” boxes I have seen (except this one) have too many supplements for me to be interested.

I would be up for that too! I think this is the closest one by far. I don’t want supplements, I don’t want any of that, I want fitness. This makes me happy because it the most fitness oriented of them all.

I think based on the reviews, I will sign up for the next box. It looks like it will be the female version of the Jason Ferruggia box, or close to it. My workout schedule has changed since getting a new job and it is killing me so I think this will help. I need something to motivate me to do things after work and outside of the gym by myself, I think this will have the things to do it. Hopefully the next box is just as good as the past ones!

I just wanted to say keep up the good work Bianca Jade! Your box is so motivating and cheerful to me. I haven’t been in a good place since my sisters death suicide. Reading your letter and seeing your box I can tell you put your heart and soul into it and that’s amazing! Wearing your bracelet is so nice. Hi Heather, I’m so sorry to hear about your sister. That is not something I can even imagine going through myself. Although I have experienced the similar passing of my grandfather and cousin. Suicide is tough because you want answers to questions you’re unable to ask of that person. If you could only have 1 minute to convince them otherwise or to tell them how you’d feel once they’re gone…then maybe. If only. Unfortunately this is a part of life that really sucks…when we can’t save people. I wish I could give you a big hug. But what I can tell you is that in this life, the only person you can really change and truly save is yourself. When you do that, your positivity and spirit begins to rub off on other people and makes a difference in their lives. So I encourage you to get better and maybe share your experience with others.

From what you write, I definitely think you’re taking the right steps towards healing. Thank you for you kind words but honestly, girl, you’re drawing on your own strength and I can feel that you’re headed to a very positive place. Just remember that you’re not alone. This was my first time getting Bianca’s Quarterly Box and definitely not my last. It’s clear that Bianca puts her heart and soul into deciding what items goes in each box, the packaging and her letter talking about the theme of the box and a little blurb about each item and why she chose it. Love the DVDs but they are seriously intense workouts which I love. I love being able to change up my workouts regularly. I LOVE the Flickable lip gloss. Fun packaging, great color, moisturizing and not sticky like so many others. The Cake & Whisky subscription is great and look forward to getting future issues.

I did part of the first DVD early this morning. Part of my setback this year was a lingering illness causing me to be out of shape. The DVD gave me a chuckle because the first thing the woman said was MILF is not what you think.

I made it through the first 15 minutes which made me happy because I was aiming for 10. I know it is going to take me time to bounce back and this is not a beginner’s DVD. There is a woman on my left that does modification exercises for people like me, and a woman on my right who does the regular exercises.

I feel great, muscle memory is kicking in, and am looking forward to trying a segment of DVD 2. I know I will make it through the whole DVD soon.

Did you do it? I did the first set of cardio and toning on Disk 2 this morning. Not sure how long it took, but I made it through one set. Meanwhile the peanut gallery, aka the 6 year old, is chiming in that doesn’t look hard. Make sure you wear the Train Hard necklace. I think it helps.

Also my 15 year old gives the workout wonder 2 thumbs up. He used it at an invitational this past weekend.

Sorry for the confusion. I was responding to the comment about Patti Stanger’s Quarterly Box being cancelled. Quarterly sent an email out last night stating it was cancelled which is disappointing because I ordered it as a gift for my sister. It’s the only box that I am aware of that is focused on the needs of single women. It caught me by surprised because it’s been waitlisted for awhile.

Quarterly has removed several curators lately including 1000 Places, Rachel Yeoman, Kath Younger, and others.

Bianca Jade is listed as having her next box ready for November. I’m looking forward to it.

This seems like an amazing box! I’m glad I just signed up so I’ll be getting the next one. I used to love workout DVDs but since moving to an apartment with poor sound insulation and a small living room they’re not nearly as practical.

I live in a condo. I’m so glad it’s on the ground floor. I am doing Focus T25 right now and I can’t even imagine what the neighbors would say with all that jumping around, if there was someone below me.

It’s hard to know what to write without being too personal. This box has touched me in a way no other subscription box has touched me. I own a small business which is a shoot off of our main small business. The launch of the business has been postponed to delays beyond my control. It is something I feel passionate about, but been feeling in a rut and stuck. I will be attending a conference next week so this is perfect timing for my passion to return.

I read the curator letter and was touched by how personal the box was to Bianca Jade. It’s a ell thought-out box that shows her involvement. I thought it was sweet that she included the Brazilian Wish Bracelet and will use it. I started reading The Dip last night while attending various children activities and enjoy it. It is a book that will assist me in my plans.

The DVD workout will help me get back into shape. I haven’t tried one yet, but am intrigued by her description, “I love how it emphasizes inner strength as much as outer.” I will be trying out at least one DVD by the end of the week. I’m looking forward to it because I do have most of the equipment and will find it challenging.

The necklace is dainty. I will give it a try wearing it and see if it motivates me to try harder. I love the magazine and ordered my free subscription last night. As my almost 6 (tomorrow he is 6!) year old says, “Easy, Peasy.” I like the concept behind the magazine. I did start an order for the yoga mat which I cancelled when I saw shipping was near $15.00. I will need to order it a different month. Please note that to use the coupon you need to enter your information on the first page, go to the second page to enter the coupon, and then pay by PayPal if that is your payment method. If you select PayPal on the first page it bypasses the coupon. At least that was my experience.

I gave the Workout Wonder Lotion to my 15 year old to use because he is running cross-country. I think he needs it more than me although I will be using it if I need it. I will be passing on the food/drink type items to him and whatever is left over to my sister. I also will be sharing the love by giving the flickable lip gloss to my sister.

I’m glad to see a Quarterly box that people are happy with. I would have been happy with this one if I’d gotten it (and will probably be signing up for future shipments if I can scrape some money together). I’m happy to see curators who “get” it (Liz will be another one, of course) and offer something of value (not just monetary value, either!). I was concerned with the explosion of new curators and some of the photos of dud boxes out there from other curators.

Thank you! This aspect of the business will be seasonal in the beginning so reading the book, going to the conference next week, and revising/learning through the winter will work out perfectly.

I forgot to add that it was nice that she provided discounts on different items such as the mat and additional products from Flickable. Absolutely loved that she included a subscription to the magazine. It rounded out the box nicely.

I LOVED THIS BOX! I am so happy that I signed up for it and more importantly I’m so happy that I was able to discover it (and Bianca herself) thanks to you Liz!

The only thing that I could take or leave with this box is the necklace, but I think even wearing it backwards could be cute? I initially was going to throw it up for a swap, but I’m thinking I might keep it! I’m a little nervous about the DVDs, they do look intense, but I love workout DVDs so this was definitely the selling point for me.

When I seen the M.I.L.F. (which apparently stands for Max Interval Laced with Fusion for their company at least). A single google would have shown that M.I.L.F is a common term used in porn for Mom I would Like to (take a guess). It’s pretty hilarious that they didn’t care enough to research out that abbreviation before they put it as a work out DVD name.

I learn something new everyday 🙂 I didn’t realize it came from porn. I’ve been hearing it for over 10 years to describe hot moms. The moms I know consider it to be a compliment to be described as a MILF and some actively workout to be put them in the category as one. Maybe it’s a regional thing. I feel naive not knowing it came from porn.

Got my box last week and am in love! I was reluctant at first to sign up because I assumed it might just be more water bottles, duffles and hair ties like in a lot of boxes lately. But after the spoilers on her FB page and reading your past reviews of her boxes, I had a feeling this one would be exceptional.

I am soooo happy I cancelled this box before it shipped! I live on the second floor of an apartment building and I wouldn’t have been able to use the biggest part of this box. I’m trying hard to lose weight and a necklace and a lip gloss really don’t fit that for me, I hope other people saw the value in this box and are able to enjoy it, for me though it would have been a huge waste of money!
