The Walmart Beauty Box is a new quarterly subscription box from Walmart. For the first week or so the checkout wasn't secure, but they've now fixed that. I had a few review requests for this box so I signed up (and I signed up for the Baby Box too in case you're curious about what's in that box. Review coming soon!)

This Glossy Balm goes on relatively sheer, but you can easily build color. It has a nice glossy sheen to it too. This Glossy Days nail polish mini is cute, but the color doesn't feel appropriate for fall.

Full size deodorants are pretty rare in subscription boxes, but always come in handy, so I was very happy to find this in the first box!

Walmart Beauty Box Subscription Review - Fall 2014 Packets

In addition to the samples, there were a few foil packets (Loreal Youth Code Pore Vanisher and Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Makeup), and a sample vial of Nicki Minaj Pink Friday perfume. Surprisingly there weren't lots of coupons with this box - just one for Neutrogena makeup.

Verdict: This box cost me $5, and I got about $20 worth of items. Considering it's only $5 a box and only ships 4 times a quarter, this is a pretty cheap way to get into beauty subscription boxes if you are OK with drugstore beauty brands. The value is definitely there!

I received my box about 2 weeks ago, but have been so busy with Christmas, that I’m just posting a reply!! So, for $5, I was extremely pleased with what I received! The description plainly says that we will receive SAMPLES, and that’s what we got! The Burt’s Bees wipes and the Cover Girl lip gloss alone would be about $, so I am very happy with what I received!! I’m actually going to continue using my facial wipes and lip gloss and will purchase both in the future!! I look forward to seeing what’s in the next box!!

I received the Winter Beauty Box today. What a disappointment! The value of the Fall Beauty Box was great; this was not. I did not receive any full size products: small Pond’s Anti-Wrinkle Cream, 5 cleansing towelettes, 30 ml Aveeno moisturizing lotion, which I can get free from my dermatologist (she has it sitting in large bowls in the waiting room); a tiny tube of Olay tone perfecting cream and several foil samples of shampoo, which you can also receive free at the beauty salon. This was not even worth the $5.00 postage.

I FINALLY received my Walmart Winter Beauty Box, and it was a disappointment. Like several of you listed already, I basically got a sample of Pond’s face wipes, a travel sized Pond’s face cream, a tiny tube of some kind of cream from Olay, and 4 foil packs of shampoo/conditioner and lotions. I had seen a bunch of pics on Instagram of other ladies boxes, and was excited b/c they seem to all get a pretty lip gloss or lipstick. Was disappointed I did not. I felt like they ran out of stuff, and just filled the box with foil packs. The Fall box was great. This one…not so much. 🙁

I got a similar box to the one that Ricay except instead of foundation on cardboard I got some sticker perfume samples. I would have been ok with the box because the Covergirl gloss is pretty but sadly the safety seal was broken and you could tell it had been used so I was very upset as this box is not even worth $5 – called them twice and left messages but they do not seem interested in calling me back – I think I will call them multiple times a day till they refund me or replace the gloss. I am tired of Walmart doing me wrong – I also ordered some holiday chocolate from them and received expired in October chocolate (not edible in my opinion since it was milk creme filled).

Got the same box as Britt…BOR-ing. I had already gotten most of the foil packet samples from other places anyhow. The whole box was lotions and creams- and I am already happy with my current face lotion. I loved the Fall box. I signed up mostly for makeup and I didn’t even get a lip balm, eye pencil or anything with color this time. Just sample creams and 10 moist towlettes. Did Walmart think that would have us excited? If Spring disappoints with no makeup, I can’t see it’s even worth it to continue. Would have loved one of the lip products, at least.

My Walmart Winter Beauty Box 1 arrived today (I’m definitely over 35, but I got a different box than some of the other “older” subscribers did). Mine was kind of “meh”. Four of the items were foil samples (shampoo, conditioner, lotion), then there was a small sample of Olay tone perfecting cream, a travel pack of Pond’s towelettes, a travel size Aveeno lotion, and a smallish container (1.75 oz.) of Pond’s Rejuveness anti-wrinkle cream. No makeup, which is fine, but 5 out of the 8 items were lotions!

I received my “over 35” Walmart Winter Beauty Box today. I opened it eagerly ~ after the bonanza that was the Fall Beauty Box ~ and was totally disappointed this time. Here’s what was inside:

Not impressed with all the foil packet samples after the Fall Box! Approximate value $9.00, not including the coupons. I dont really think “Winter Beauty” when I look at this stuff. No makeup this time, nothing cheery to help quell the Winter Blahs on these dreary winter days. If the Spring box is as dismal as this one, I think I’ll cancel.

I got the exact same box. This box sucked! It was so empty! It was nothing like the last box at all. I feel like they duped us with a great first box and once we subscribed they sent us this crappy box. I’m going to look into returning it if I can.

I got mine today too. Same as yours but I did get a 1oz bottle of Aveeno hand lotion which is my favorite thing :\. I haven’t seen this many foil packets since my BB5 “10 samples for $5 deal”! This is better than that was!

I just called the 1855 712 0222. I recording came on and said that the boxes that was supposed to have shipped Nov. 25 was shipped out Dec. 3 and 9. This is Dec. 16. No dam box. And the recording is full so u can’t leave a message

I just got my winter beauty box yesterday and it was a pretty good one. There was a nice size sample of lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, some make up wipes, some Cover Girl lipstick and a coupon and sample of some foundation.

I completely forgot about this box! I was totally surprised. I received the over 35 and I did get an email that it had shipped(didn’t check email until after I got it, but they did send the notice). And for $5 I got Pond’s Anti-Wrinkke Cream, Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes, Dove Body Wash, Dove Oxygen Shampoo& Conditioner, Covergirl Outlast Lipcolor and Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder(this was the only one that was not travel size, it was just on a piece of cardboard with a coupon). I was really impressed with this box.

Yeah! I am so glad they try to tie contents to age. It won’t be a perfect fit, but better than some boxes that don’t profile well. Hope they send me a soft color lipstick – not all women over 30 paint their’s dark! 🙂

My sister’s “under 35” box has a tracking number. Our “over 35” boxes do not. She missed the deadline for the fall box by a few days and was charged way back then for the winter boxes. I haven’t checked to see my box charged yet since I did receive the fall box.

“under 35” and “over 35” boxes was the guess at the cutoff age for the two different type fall boxes.

I’m DEFINITELY over 35 and received the email today that my Walmart “Beauty Box Ordered:WM Classic Beauty Winter 2” has shipped. I also got a tracking number in the email I purchased it way after the fall box, on December 9th. Not sure if that helps anyone.

Here is the phone number I called for the Walmart Beauty Box about a week ago: 1-855-712-0222. I called 2 different times, and two different ladies who answered said the boxes were on their way even though I told them no charged had come through. I have now had them charge my account over the weekend, but still no shipping confirmation email. And their website is still not working…?

I was charged Oct. 6, 2014 for the winter box and still I have not received anything. when I called the number it wasn’t active anymore and when I logged into the website (after 20x of refreshing it because it kept coming back as an error) I didn’t get much help either.

No, I have not received mine either. I called the phone number on their website a couple of days ago, and they told me I would receive my box soon, that they had already shipped. However, my account has not been charged, and now you can’t even pull up their website or log onto it. Only a server error comes up. I sure hope their beauty box sub. is no more! I really enjoyed the Fall one. I guess, time will tell…

I have not received my first fall beauty box yet. They pull out the money from my account since 10/14/14. And in the email I received they said that it should arrive on the 25th of November. I tried logging in to the website several times to find out what is going on and I got the same problem as you did with the error issue coming up.

My account still hasn’t been charged, either, and I also cant pull up the Walmart log-in page for the Beauty Box. I really loved the Fall box and for only $5.00 I was thinking “this has to be too good to last.”

i got the same box as your age group, but they forgot the LIPBALM!!! I signed up just for the lip balm, but they forgot!!! When I called the customer service and complained, the woman’s tone is obnoxious! She said that I should not complain since I only paid shipping. And she couldn’t understand that I got one item less than other people. She kept confusing it with the age group difference. Anyway, she said she would call back but she didn’t. I am going to fight for it or I will return it. (other items in the box mostly have no use for me).

After reading these were sent out by age I ordered a second one for my 13 yo daughter. It arrived toda . Mine had age appropriate anti aging lotions while hers had funky blue nail polish and dove products. Both came with full size secret deodorants. Mine a lipstick hers a lip gloss. We’re both happy with our age appropriate boxes.

I also received the pore foil packet (always looking for things for my pores and my Secret Clinical Strength deodorant was powdered!!!! Thankfully!!! The few times I have tried the gel I did not care for it.

I just wanted to stop in and let you guys know that I received my box today. The same exact items including perfume that Liz received. My nail polish by Cover girl is called Glowing Days and is in the color black (Laserlight)’and the Loreal glossy balm is in the color ginger candy and is coral. (lighter coral) I received the other items Liz received and there wonderful. I love the deodorant and the hair oil smells like a mild fresh smell like baby powder. The perfume smells fantastic and sweet. I haven’t tried the others but totally worth the $5! I kinda wish I ordered two sets before it sold out. Oh and the glossy balm feels super smooth on the lips and nice. =)

I ordered the box 4-5 days ago but haven’t received a confirmation of my order nor tracking. I order from Wal-Mart a lot so they always send confirmation immediately. Did any of you guys get any confirmation of your orders?

I never received any email or anything after placing the order. I am able to login to the acct and it.shows my order and order number I think it shows the order number and says processing. I expected to get some sort of confirmation of my order. It kinda worries me since others had problems receiving there box.

I got nothing no email confirmation or shipping . but I did find some info by key wording “walmart Beauty box” on google it had a link that took my right to the page where in logged in. There was a ID number and it says being processed. I did try doing this on awl arts we page but got nowhere. I still haven’t gotten it and I ordered it on oct 18th

I got the same box but my Secret Clinical deodorant was a gel. Not crazy about it (and it doesn’t work how the box claimed), but I’m still really happy with the value of the box for the price! I can’t wait for the winter box! Part of me wants to sign up for another box and say I’m younger so I can get some of the fun stuff like the gloss and nail polish instead of all the anti-aging stuff. I’m only 35 and I still like to have fun with my beauty! 🙂

I was excited about this at first but I think they decided they just wanted my money and didn’t want to send me a box. I ordered 3 weeks ago (Sept. 10) and still haven’t gotten a box. There are people that signed up long after me (like 10 or more days later) that have gotten theirs. And contacting them has been a pain in the rear. I guess I’ll be fighting to get my money back. 🙁

I order the 9th and still haven’t gotten my box either. I have called 3 times, since last week. I was told to wait until Monday, so I called on Tuesday and they said it should be expected this week.
I told them this last time, I WOULD be calling again.

I wanted to add, if you still don’t have answers I would send BrandShare a private message via their Facebook page. Include your email and order number. That’s the only place I had any luck. I messaged them yesterday with my info and someone emailed me today saying he contacted their distribution center and would get back to me with tracking info. He said he should know something late today or early tomorrow. At this point I’m thinking tomorrow. I’ll post here if I hear something.

I know what you mean. I called and the guy was clueless, told me he’d pass my info along and someone would contact me letting me know when my box was shipped. That was last week and no one called me. Monday I emailed them and got no response. Tuesday I posted on BrandShare’s Facebook page. Today they replied asking me for my contact info so they could look into it. I gave them the info (through a private message of course) and we’ll see if they respond tomorrow. I guess they only check FB once a day because I responded less than 30 minutes after they replied and that was this morning. If I don’t get a box or get an answer soon the next contact they get from me will be via the BBB!

I got the same exact box – the deodorant is totally useless for me since I don’t use it, I absolutely hate yellow, and my hair is the exact opposite of “fine and flat,” so the only things I’ll really use are the balm and the hair oil – this box wasn’t quite worth it for me, but for $5 I’m willing to keep it.

I was very happy with mine since I had just run out of deodorant! It appeared without any shipping notice. I’m 50, and in addition to the deodorant I got CoverGirl lipstick, nice plum shade, Olay Regenerist, L’Oreal Revitalift, Juicy Couture perfume sample, and some foil shampoo/conditioner packets.
I signed up for a second box for my daughter, will be interesting to see the teen choices.

It’s a little weird that they don’t let you know that it’s shipped… I think the site said they won’t charge for future boxes until they’re ready to ship, but it’s definitely been a month or so since I purchased this guy.
