Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review – Oct 2014 Milan

This month the destination from the Passport Collection is Milan.

Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review – Oct 2014 Red

Square Hue Polish in Via Della Spiga

Square Hue Polish in Via Sant' Andrea

I think these are both two classic and stylish shades. And they're in my favorite finish - high gloss creme.

Square Hue Nail Polish Subscription Box Review – Oct 2014 Black

Square Hue Polish in Via Montenapoleone

This black shade is a flat finish. I haven't tried it yet, but if they're going to send our black nail polish, October is definitely the month!

Verdict: I think this month's shades are very classic, and I'm interested in the black polish for Halloween, so this is a great box for me. Plus I'm always impressed with Square Hue's polish formula, and I love that they give back each month.

Do you subscribe to Square Hue? What do you think of their October colors?

I tried the MSAFREE code also, but it says it doesn’t exist. Bummer.

Hmmm…I tried both the MSAFREE and the FREEBOX codes; neither worked. Too bad, I’d like to give it a try but I also love a deal!!!

I’m at the end of my rope with Julep right now, but am reluctant to cancel because I have skip privileges. I’m thinking I will sign up either for this or Rainbow Honey mystery bags.

Does anyone know anything about the Zoya (My)Box sub? I can’t seem to find anything on it.

Crystal

Zoya is my favorite polish brand, followed closely by Butter. I looked a few months ago hoping that they had their own sub box and even emailed their customer service to see if they had a sub box, but they don’t have one. I would sign up in a second if they started one.

The only thing I found was the sign-up page.

Strange concept. I took the quiz just for fun and it suggested the “pet box” for me. I read the text on that page and no, I’m not giving my dog a pedicure. Can you picture a Rottweiler with glitter polish? But then, the other choices are even stranger.

Is it an April fool prank? I checked and it is. Read more:

I took the quiz which I found from their blog labeled 3/31/14. Here is what I can buy for $24.99.

Each TONEitUP Subscription Box Includes

One FREE accessory personally selected by our (MY)BOX™ Fitness Experts
30-day workout plan fully tailored to your fitness level & personal goals
Two TONEitUP Shades featuring the innovative NEW ‘GetFit’ Formula – fully customized to your workout plan each month.

I added it to the cart and it said:

April Fools!
Super power shades, color that cuts fat, polished puppies and a boyfriend in a box would be a dream come true BUT we’re just kidding – Gotcha!

On a serious note, how great would it be if Zoya really had a subscription box?!

Shannon

I didn’t like any of the colors.

I’ve had the chance to try all of the Square Hue polishes this month and was impressed with the formulas and colors. I am getting a little chipping on the second day but that’s normal for me. I’m looking forward to Prague!

I loved this months colors and the flat black is my favorite.

I usually like two out of the three polishes each month, but this month I did NOT like. I grudgingly admit 🙂 that they need to do “classic” colors and finishes sometimes, but I don’t like red or taupe or crème finishes. I’m keeping the black because I don’t have one, but the others are up for swap! 🙂

The code didn’t work for me :/

It didn’t work for me either!

“freebox” works 🙂

I must be the only person who doesn’t coordinate nail polish with seasons! Though I am wearing black right now (from the Julep Dark Arts set, which I got despite attempting to cancel, though I think that’s all straightened out now). I just look at my nail polish racks and pick whatever appeals to me (or if there’s something new, I’ll try that). Might be lavender in the middle of fall or bright yellow in December, but oh well.

Anyway, I like these colors. Won’t subscribe for now but may consider this instead of Julep when my finances are in order (someday like five years from now…).

I am the same way. Every now and then I feel like going with season colors, but ultimately, when I pick the nail polish it depends on my mood.

Crystal

I am the same way with my nail polish. More times than most you will find me wearing what everyone else would call “Summer” colors. I can’t help myself. I love all things pink & coral on my toes (or in general). My hands generally stay nude or with no color due to wear I work.

I have the Via Sant Andrea on my nails already. I think I will cancel Julep and stick with Square Hue. Their polish is awesome!

I cancelled Julep and moved to SquareHue. I haven’t been disappointed yet! They have great colors and finishes, and they ship super quick. I’m wearing the red in this set right now. Love SquareHue!
