My Geek Box is a monthly geek and gamer box that ships from the UK. (Lately we’ve been on a bit of a quest to subscribe to all the geeky boxes that exist, and this is one of the few from the UK that ships to the US!)

Shipping takes a while - so that explains why this review is of the September box!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

me-geek-box-oct-mag

Unlike last month, this box came with a mini-mag.

It's similar to Loot Crate's monthly mini mag, except they don't detail the products included in the box. But they do give away hints:

The next box will be the "Best of British" box!

me-geek-box-oct-t-shirt

Chucky Tee - Value $15

Each box includes a t-shirt - I think we'll be swapping this one. We've definitely gotten our share of scary/creepy shirts from geek boxes this month!

me-geek-box-oct-zombie

Zombie Zity Swobblerz - Value $4

Zomblings In the Town Series 1 Pack - Value $2

Our friend who is zombie-obsessed really lucked out this month thanks to our geeky subscriptions! These two items go in his gift pile!

me-geek-box-oct-pop-vinyl

Funko POP Vinyl Jason Voorhees - Value $12

This item is a hit with my Pop-vinyl-collecting husband!

me-geek-box-oct-poster

Horror Film Poster -Value $5?

Not sure if this was made for the box, but I'm estimating value.

me-geek-box-oct-candy

Monster Mates Poppin' Candy in Awful Orange - Value $1

Nightmare Before Christmas Magnet - Value $2

Verdict: Aside from the Funko POP Vinyl, this box wasn't a hit with my husband. I think we'll give this box one more month to see if it is a fit for us. (Of course I'm sure the month we unsubscribe will be the month they send out all items my husband would have loved!)

What do you think of My Geek Box?

Sorry for the double comment. I completely blanked that I already posted a comment. I am blind and either there is no way to modify one’s comments, or the controls to edit are nt registering on my screen reader, so if the moderator can delete one of the duplicates, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I am still new to the subscription box world. I think I will be subscribing to this one as soon as budget allows. I so badly wish we in the US could get their Christmas special box. I get their reasons for the restriction, but that doesn’t stop me from wishing. Oh, well. The regular boxes are great, so I can look forward to those whn I subscribe.

This was the October box, as the September one had an apocalypse theme. I can’t WAIT for next month! I subscribed because I prefer British geekery like Doctor Who, so I’m really looking forward to it. 🙂
