Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Box

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Info

Each box comes with a sheet detailing the items included. For this month, the three sister founders of Little Lace Box each picked an item, and then also had a group pick. (They mention in the letter that the box curation may feel a little disconnected compared to previous boxes because each of them have different tastes).

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Letter

They also included a spoiler theme for the January Box - The Dining Car. The box is "all about vintage and beauty and you. This box will include hidden gems for you AND your home."

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Necklace

The Little Lace Box & Susan Meier Fresh Water Pearl Necklace - Value $48

This necklace is made with fresh water pearls and a 14-carat gold-filled 16" chain. I'm all about delicate gold jewelry, so this is a perfect piece for me!

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Bracelet

Stia Couture Fresh Water Pearl Bracelet - Value $35

This bracelet is made with 1" length of freshwater pearls and 14K Gold Filled 16 Gauge Wire. It's really delicate and pretty, but I don't wear bangles that often, so I will probably gift it.

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Planner

Whitney English Mini Day Designer - Value $48.99

I have never been a planner person before, but lately I've been thinking I should be. There's something about putting pen to paper when writing a To-Do list that makes it a little more meaningful. I've also been trying to do two things daily:

1) Make a To-Do list with just 3 items

2) At the end of the day write down three things I'm grateful for.

And the page set-up of this planner is pretty much perfect for me:

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Planner Page

There's a space for the top three to-do items everyday, and a space for daily gratitude! I also like that each page has a place for that day's date. I know I won't be using this 100% of the year, so it's nice to not have to waste any pages!

Little Lace Box Subscription Review – December 2014 Soap

Three Sisters Apothecary Handcrafted Bar Soap in Sweet Orange Coconut Milk - 1.75 oz Value $3.25

This bar soap is made with all natural ingredients and smells just like an orange creamsicle - it's amazing!

Verdict: This is a very different box than the November Little Lace Box (which seemed to be a never-ending selection of items), but I still really like it. The planner is somehow exactly what I was looking for (without knowing I was looking for it), and I love the necklace and soap too. This box has a good value too - about $135.

What do you think of the December Little Lace Box?

If any of you are interested in the Whitney English Day Designer and weren’t able to get a planner (like me), the Day Designer website has a free daily planner page download: http://www.daydesigner.com/free-daily-planner-download/

This was my first month receiving LLB. Well I too was worried about breaking the bracelet I fell in love with the box after seeing November’s box. I will sticking with the subscription, I love the personal touches that they add to the boxes and even when I have reached out to their company. I have cancelled my POPSUGAR box to join. I am totally A LLB woman all the way. I also love that they are Downton Abby fans as well. 😉

This is my very first LLB. I signed up right away after reading the good reviews from the November box and also the previous ones. I was VERY looking forward to this box. Although I dont hate it, the one thing I am keeping is the soap. I personally dont wear bracelet at all, and i dont like how the necklace looks on me. I also dont use planner at all (I prefer to use the calendar on my phone for easy access). I do see why people love this box. I am also glad that people love these things on the swap site so I am able to swap for things I really want easily =)

If you still have the planner I would be VERY interested in swapping for it! My email is [email protected]. I’m on the swap site as well

Hi Keyonnia, sorry I swapped it a long time ago. It was very popular on the swap site. =)

The bracelet is beautiful, but it doesn’t fit over my (ahem) big bones. Has anyone had any luck unlatching it? I’m afraid I’m going to break it.

I unlatched mine and its been fine. 🙂

I love this box. Everything is so high quality (handmade design jewelry! ) and so,so pretty! My soap smells great and I will for sure use planer. Very happy with this subscribtion, after only one month I decided it is worth buying annual.
Great job, ladies!

My first LLB and unfortunately for me, it’s a dud. Dainty jewelry doesn’t really work with my overall look; I may try layering the pearl necklace to save it. And that planner just seems like more work than its worth, but I’ll give it a try since I don’t want it to go to waste. Still not sure if I’ll stick around for the Jan box.

While this box wasn’t for me (I don’t wear gold stuffs and the soap I got was apple cider smelling… ick), I’m happy with the planner and I’m not giving up on Little Lace Box. The letter is what really makes me stay after not liking this box at all. There is just something so touching about how they send this personal letter about how they picked each item and why. I almost feel like I’m one of their sisters too! 🙂 The November box was WAY over the top and I’m still loving it like crazy…. and I’m super looking forward to the January box (it’s my birthday month!). w00t.

This was my first LLB. I loved it. The jewelry pieces are classic — perhaps not something I will wear all the time, but something I will keep in my collection and pull out for the right occasions. I love love love the planner. I actually already have an Erin Condren Life Planner which I will be using for 2015, but this planner is perfect for list-making so I will use it as a companion to my ECLP to keep my daily to-do’s organized. I’m also glad it’s not dated, it just makes it more versatile. My soap was ylang ylang scented, it’s very nice. Overall so happy with this and I will use everything. I also love the letter they included. It’s just so personal and a lovely touch. Cannot wait for the January box!

November was my first month with LLB and I loved it. This box wasn’t for me, I don’t like gold jewelry at all so I swapped them already. But I got the same scented soap and actually really like the scent. I like the planner too, it’s just so giant. I also wish that it was dated and not just blank pages. I can’t wait for January’s box, I love vintage things and can’t wait to see what they pick.

Love the jewelry….delicate and dainty….just my type! And my soap is Mexican Lime Cilantro…it smells amazing!

I loved my box, I got the same scent soap and love it. The necklace and bracelet are really nice quality and I will for sure use the planner. This continues to be a great box for me.

I have been trying to sign up for this box since I saw the November box. Their site always says sold out. I’m really wanting this subscription but it’s never available when I look

I love my box. I wasn’t too sure about the necklace and bracelet until I tried them on. Perfect. It did make me feel special 🙂 I’ve been using my day planner since it arrived. It compliments my regular planner. I like how the edges are reinforced. It’s nice how the name of the soap coincides with them being being 3 sisters. I will be taking the apple clove scented soap with me to a business conference. Looking forward to January’s box.

I got mine Thursday and this is my first box. I really like it, although to me there are only 3 items. The soap is a filler to me. I love the planner, but was very disappointed to,find out that a lot of features are omitted from the regular planner in the mini. The regular one is dated with tabs plus many more. The Whitney English etsy shop is closed until jan and I can only find one retailer with one print cover available. Also what puzzled me is if it is undated, why put the 2015 planning pages up front? Oh well.

This is a fabulously curated box. No- it’s not November’s box, but can appreciate the variety LBB offers from month to month. This is only my second month, but I am happy with how unique this subscription appears to be and will continue to subscribe. I was also happy to see a planner as it was on my list of items to buy before January – making this a timely box for me.

I just loved my box! I have really tiny wrists and usually bangles like this just fall off, but this seemed to be the perfect fit! I don’t use planners usually, but I know I should so I think I will follow your idea Liz and use it as an inspirational tool as well as a way to get my life in order with to do lists in 2015! I am extra excited for January’s box, I adore Downton Abbey.. I think it’s interesting too that the show focuses on the lives of 3 sisters, and LLB is run by 3 sisters.. maybe that had something to do with this pick! Who knows!? Anyway, thanks for sharing Liz!

I loved this box! The planner is so amazing! I really love the necklace and bracelet too but my sis just had a baby and pearl is his birthstone so she is getting an extra fabulous christmas present! This was my first box from them and was surprised at how much I loved it!

It was my first LLB and I was happy! Good job, Sisters! The curation, theme and beautifully written letter were lovely. Going to make good use of that planner. Here’s to quality over quantity!

I just got my box today and I LOVE it SO much!!! Its like someone read my mind!! The jewelry is beautiful and perfect! I love real pearls! And the planner is EXACTLY what I needed. I have been using dollar store notebooks for my daily to dos, goals and lists and they always fall apart and I have pieces of everywhere. This is fantastic. I wish I got the orange scent soap, I would have loved that! I got lemongrass soap, which is my least favorite smell but I will gift it to my sister…she will love it. I am SO excited for next month, I LOVE the theme and cant wait to see what they select!

I have been loving all of LLB’s boxes. The jewelry is exactly my style — delicate and dainty. I don’t mind nor do I expect each box to be like Nov. I prefer quality over quantity.

WOW! I read all these subscription box reviews just for fun. I do have Ipsy and Lip Monthly. I’m never very tempted to subscribe to any others though. I just.. like looking. Ha ha. But..IWANTTHISBOX. WOW. I looked at November’s box review too. That necklace is AHHHHMAZING. I’m not a bracelet person but WOW I love it. Love the planner. Love the soap. Can I buy this specific box from them? Ha ha.

Hi Liz,
Thank you for reviewing this. I finally think I am ready to commit to this sub. Does anyone know if this is ordered today, would a customer start with December? I gotta have that necklace!

Patricia

Sadly the December and January boxes are sold out but I think the necklace is for sale in their shop on the website. Lovely box not as many items as last box but each item is beautiful quality and the letter that came with the box was lovely.

Hi Patricia,
Thank you for the info. I’ll try to find it on Etsy.
