Overlook Hotel T-Shirt - Value $10

My husband has declared this the best shirt he's ever received in a subscription box - he's a huge Stephen King fan.

POP Funko Vinyl Creature From The Black Lagoon - Value $11

Subscribers will get one of five Monsters POPs:

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – December 2014 POPtions

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – December 2014 Skull

Zomb Ease Antiseptic Hand Cleanser - Value $1?

Maggot Eye Skeleton Stress Ball - Value $4?

We'll probably end up swapping these items.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – December 2014 Mouse Pad

Poltergeist Mouse Pad - Value $5?

I couldn't find this for sale online so I'm not sure if it was created for this box - I do know that it is very creepy!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – December 2014 Rue Morgue

Rue Morgue Magazine - Value $10

Horror Block often includes the latest issue of Rue Morgue in their box. My husband and I are both Ghostbusters fans, so I think we'll definitely read this one!

Verdict: The t-shirt alone makes this box for my husband, but the overall retail value is pretty good too - about $41. What do you think of the December Horror Block subscription box?

The person I bought this for LOVED it. Shipping took a lifetime, but when he finally got it he was super happy. The Shining is a favorite of his (and mine and probably everyone). He even watches (yes, multiple times) the movie docu-thingy Room 237. This shirt was a home run (bat reference too obscure?). He also loved the mouse pad cause he’s a rare breed that still has a desktop. The other stuff was just fun itsys for him. I thought he would’ve been more excited about the magazine, but he just said he liked it and that was that. I should ask if he read it. How is HorrorBlock gonna ever top that shirt?

My Zomb-ease sanitizer had opened up during shipping and leaked over everything, so I was bummed out! BUT, I emailed NerdBlock and they resolved the matter quickly, they will be shipping me a replacement Funko Pop figure and refunding me the value of the sanitizer ($2.50) – so I am happy about their customer service and feel good about this subscription.
