Eco Emi Deluxe Beauty Box Subscription Review – Feb 2015 Box

Eco Emi recently launched a Deluxe Beauty Box in addition to their regular monthly box offering. I had subscribed to the regular Eco Emi box for a while, but ended up canceling since the samples were often very small. As soon as I found out about this deluxe-sized version of their subscription I signed up!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Eco Emi Deluxe Beauty Box Subscription Review – Feb 2015 Hair

Nuema Beauty Blow Out Mist - FULL SIZE! Value $24

This spray is supposed to add volume and texture when applied to damp hair. So far I just tested it out on dry hair, and I like the scent and really like the ingredients, so I'm hoping it is an all-star product for me.

Eco Emi Deluxe Beauty Box Subscription Review – Feb 2015 Soap

1143 H20 Nail Polish in She Bad (Colors may vary) - FULL SIZE! Value $12

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Chocolate Soap - Sample Value $5

At first when I saw this nail polish I just thought it was another blue polish to swap (last year I got a lot of sky blue nail polish in subscription boxes!). Then read about the brand - it's a completely non-toxic water-based nail polish formula. I can't wait to try it!

(I'm estimating on the value of the soap - it looks about half the size of a full size soap). And it smells just like chocolate!

Eco Emi Deluxe Beauty Box Subscription Review – Feb 2015 Goat

Dancing Goat Mambo Mint Lip Scrub - FULL SIZE! Value $10

Dancing Goat Mambo Mint Lip Balm - FULL SIZE! Value $4

I've tried the Dancing Goat brand before in other natural subscription boxes, and I like their line a lot. This lip set is very refreshing and minty - I love that they included complimentary products.

Verdict: I think this is one of my favorite Eco Emi boxes to date. The value is about $55, more than double the cost, and everything is full size or deluxe sized. Plus I will use every single item!

What do you think of the February 2015 Eco Emi Deluxe Beauty Box?

They already did away with the Beauty Box? WTF? It was only around for a hot second, how is that possible? 🙁

Is there a rewards system for Eco Emi? Like on glossybox you can take surveys for points and once you reach 1,000 points you receive a free box. Is there Anything like that for this one? I browsed the website but didn’t see anything regarding it.

I JUST signed up & bam! They cancelled the box 🙁
Said they were gonna go ahead & send me the March Box, but undid the Paypal auto payments. Boo! I was looking forward to this box.

I ordered one of their mystery boxes and they shipped me this one! I loved this box when I read the review. Definitely a win in my book!

So far I really like Eco Emi. I love the Dancing Goat products. I thought a lip scrub was kind of weird, but I tried it and it was great. The lip balm is one of the best I’ve tried too. Usually I only buy the products if I can get them reduced through rewards (like on Birchbox), but I’m considering getting more of their stuff – I’m definitely a fan.

Always soooo excited to see what Eco Emi is going to send. I LOVE the new Deluxe boxes. I have gotten to try so many brands that I would have never heard of before….Thanks Eco Emi for keeping your boxes so interesting and exciting each month…

This looks like a great box. If the volumizing spray works. total win!! But a lip scrub and the lip balm would have me thrilled. The polish sounds interesting since it is water based. I think it is definitely worth the cost.

I’ve been enjoying using the chocolate soap. The texture reminds me of milk chocolate. It smells delicious. All the products are great although I am unsure about the water based nail polish. I received the same color as Liz.

I forgot to add that I like how Eco Emi sends items from the same brand. I finished up the Dancin’ Goat scrub last week and now I have the lip scrub and balm to try out. I do need to find a warmer spot in the house for the scrub.

I like the idea of water-based polishes but I have no luck with them. You can’t use them with regular topcoats (one of them totally messed up my beloved Seche Vite and I nearly had to trash it), and fairly often, they dissolve partially when I’m doing some housecleaning task or other (yeah, I know I should probably be wearing gloves).

This is the second mention of Seche Vite I’ve read today. Is it a topcoat or just a polish brand in general (or both)?

Kinda late replying, but I just saw your question. It’s a top coat that speeds drying time. I use it too! Seche=dry, Vite=quick

I received a light green nail polish. It’s not ‘me’ but it’s a cute spring color.

I hated the scent of the Neuma stuff – IMHO, it smells like the athlete’s foot medicine I used as a kid. I like the rest of the box though, and this sub overall, so I’m not too worried about one junker item.

I got this box to. I’m glad I subscribed. My lip scrub was only 1/2 full when I opened it. Even though it is 1/2 full it is yummy. I also got the blue nail polish and dont like the color. Yet I like the brand. It’s crafting time with it. This is an awesome box with a lot of variety. Hope Eco Emi continues to have great boxes like this one.
