Horror Block Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Tee

Dixon Walker Motorcycle Repair & Removal Shirt - Value $10

This is my husband's favorite Horror Block shirt ever! And it isn't the only Walking Dead item:

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Bag

Walking Dead Drawstring Bag - Value $20

I don't think we'd pay $20 for this bag, but I'm happy to see it in the box.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Canvas

Lee Howard Print Canvas - Value $20?

I'm not sure about the value of this item since it as a hangable canvas, and the Quiet Room Bears etsy shop only has card stock prints available for sale. This is my husband's favorite item in the box. I've never seen a canvas in a subscription box before, and I think it is such a great inclusion this month.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Rue Morgue

Rue Morgue Magazine - Value $10

Horror Block usually includes the latest Rue Morgue issue in their box, so in a way if you subscribe to Horror Block, you get a subscription to Rue Morgue as well.

Wind Up Mummy Puzzle - Value $4?

This mummy puzzle was made exclusively for NerdBlock, and when you put together, it has a winder, so that it moves as well. (Unboxed photo below).

Horror Block Key Cap - Value $5?

This is another exclusive item. From the info card, it looks like subscribers will either receive this creepy doll face, or a scary clown face.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review – March 2015 Puzzle

Verdict: This is our favorite Horror Block to date - my husband loves the tee and canvas! Since there are so many exclusive items in the box, it is difficult to give a total value, but I'd say the box has about $70 value.

This was a great box this month. Love the Canvas and the walking dead stuff. I also love the Rue Morgue magazine; they are expensive per issue and the magazine is really good as it covers TV, Movies, and music from the horror genre. I hope they keep including the magazine and this box keeps getting better and better.

I’m giving horror block one more month based on this block. I absolutely loved the tee my daughter can’t stand looking at it anymore lol. The drawstring bag was a hit merely because I’m such a zombie freak and absolutely love The Walking Dead. Hate to admit it I haven’t opened a Rue Morgue magazine yet one day I guess when I’m bored and lack reading material. The mummy thing eh. Love love love the key chain cover glad I don’t have clown issues but I do know that some people do. As for the pinhead canvas I thought it was great pinhead not one of my favorites but my 25 year old son loves that movie and is now the thrilled owner of this canvas. I almost cancelled after my first ever box last month but didn’t when I heard there would be two TWD items based on this box have decided to get at least one more box.

This was the worst box for me. I got a clown keyring thing. I threw it down when I saw it. I HATE CLOWNS. Its getting thrown in the trash if no one wants it.

I HATE clowns too!! I’m glad I don’t subscribe to this box, because if I received the clown version, my husband would have so much fun trying to scare me with that thing — put it under my pillow at night, put it in my underwear drawer, put it in my makeup case… gah!! So glad my husband is not on the swap site 🙂

I put almost that whole box on the swap site and my most hated box has turned out to be my most lucrative! The thing about your hubby scaring you with clowns is just like my brother. Last year he bought me a creeeeeeepy like porcelain clown for my birthday. Boys are such meanies.

Loretta

I’m so sorry, Ashley. Unfortunately clowns are a huge theme in horror movies and tv shows. My best friend is terrified of them too and they are every where.

Maybe wrap it in tissue and write on the outside what it is? Then you can list it on the swap list. As someone who does not suffer from Coulrophobia I can tell you that it’s pretty cool and someone will want it.

That canvas is cool.

This box was a total winner. I’m tempted to resubscribe to Horror Block. I particularly loved the pinhead print, and the fact that it came as a canvass print. I would just love to have three or four of those prints. The artist says he hasn’t found an affordable way to print them as canvass, so Horror Block is the only way to get it in that format (and just the pinhead one).

The drawstring bag I valued at $13, AMC sells one on their website for that amount. I hate drawstring bags, but my daughter just loved it, as she loved the t-shirt.

The mummy was cute but I haven’t been able to make it walk without falling.

The only thing I truly hate is the Rue Morgue magazine.

I wish I had gotten this box now if just for the canvas print of Pinhead from the Hellraiser series. (I love Clive Barker!)

Love the shirt! But the bag – they give those things away for free everywhere all of the time at trade shows and such..

Loretta

Absolutely true but don’t you think Daryl’s face is worth at least $10-15? 😉

I thought this was the best sub box I’ve ever received. I loved every single item in it. Have to agree with your husband….best t-shirt I’ve ever gotten too.
