June Sample Choice emails are starting to go out. And there’s some kind of wedding box available for new subscribers? Not exactly sure of all the details.

Will everyone receive the eyeliner for sure? It didn’t show up on my reveal page so I would be so bummed if it didn’t. Thanks a hard of time for any responses!!!

No one’s getting the Eyeko this month — it got held up in customs. They’ve substituted a different product and the Eyeko should be in a future box. I think my shipping notification said this down at the bottom.

Can someone tell me how to enter the contest?
Thanks :0)

Mary

You’ll get a card in your box with details on how to enter. I think it will be a code that you will enter on a certain page of their site to see what you won.

I’m an Ace but I haven’t received emails to pick my samples. I went on last month (tried on the 26 & 27) to pick and I did not see where the options were?! Am I missing something?

PA Anna

Try emailing them to check your account and see if there is a reason you are not receiving the emails. I also read people had success emailing them with their PYS choices.

I’m not looking forward to any of the “sample choice” items this month. I love Harvey Prince Hello and I picked the 3 min peel last month. If I like the peel I will probably opt for the curated box (my first time picking the curated box)… But I kind of like the mystery. I’m so indecisive!

Amberlyn

I’m excited about the giveaway and the eyeliner, I just don’t know what to pick for my sample choice! None of the items stand out to me. Sunscreen samples are like a joke for my plus size body and only one use for the eye gels, which leaves the micro water that I’m not sure about. The mango sunscreen might double as a nice smelling hand lotion?? Lol idk! And yeah the curated box seems very lackluster this month. Here’s hoping for that $1,000! Haha

The boxes are beautiful. I’m going to select the Coola sunscreen for the PYS. I selected the Caudalie Favorites set and the Whish Body Butter for the Birchbox Plus. I can’t wait to see what people win in the sweepstakes!

I love Supergoop so I am definitely getting that for my sample choice. I am excited for the eyeliner as well. The curated box is super boring this month. Honestly it looks like they threw together some overstock. Overall I am much happier with the sample choices this month than last month.

Jennifer

actually love the eyeko original eyeliner and I can’t wait to try the fat one! I am going to pick the water. I am super lazy at night and use yes to cucumbers wipes.

Ragan

I’m just picking the sunscreens. One on each account. Not exciting, but functional. Also the language on the microwater Birchbox page sounds suspiciously like pseudoscience to me. If “active hydrogen” was a real thing, it would be defined clearly on multiple reputable websites. (Unfortunately, the Dr. Jart website is no more specific.) All I’m getting is that the Dr. Jart product is 85% water.

Reply ButtonReply

AnnaD

I had the same pseudoscience thought. Active hydrogen isn’t a thing.

Reply ButtonReply

acidofoliate

lol yeah. first thing I did was look it up microwater…wat?

Adeline

Is it me or has the last may and June curated boxes look unappealing?

Chellersm

I think all these sample choices look great. I’ve already tried the supergoop, but I like it and wouldn’t be sad to get it in a box. This will actually be my first month with two accounts… Well, I guess my second because last month I gifted myself a three month sub to get that new starter box. So I think it’s funny that every box is getting an eyeliner, so I’ll get two (I have way too many eyeliners already but I do love trying them). That’s what I get for signing up for two, lol.

I think I’ll go with the eye gels on my Ace account, and then see what is available for my second. Maybe the micro water, since I have been intrigued by that since others got it this month, I think.

I’d been thinking about getting one of the other RumbaTime watches on their site, but I don’t think I’m going for the add on. I think the watches are a good deal, but I think I like some of the other styles better. So I’m trying to not hit “reserve”!

Em

I don’t mind all the eyeliners in subscription boxes since I think it’s one of those products that people are always looking for the one that’s perfect for them. I received a Cynthia Rowley liquid eyeliner in my first ever Birchbox and it wasn’t really for me, but since then I’ve been introduced to Cynthia Rowley’s pencil liners as well, along with Benefit, Sumita, Jouer, and now Eyeko. Still hoping to try Mally, since it’s been in so many boxes! Since eyeliners are such a staple beauty product, it’s nice that we get to try so many of them out before settling on “the one,” in my opinion.

Dean

Harvey Prince AGAIN? I’ll take the Supergoop sunscreen.

Reply ButtonReply

Nikki

I agree! I have received Harvey Prince in every form possible and every scent.

Reply ButtonReply

Orlee

Oh, ugggh. I made the mistake of selecting the salt spray product last month not realizing it was Harvey Prince. I wish I loved the line (the packaging is always so cute!), but there’s just something in them that triggers an instant migraine for me.

Reply ButtonReply

AmyM

Right? I’d never heard of Harvey Prince until Birchbox and I feel like they pimp the hell out of them. Is it one of their proprietary brands?

Reply ButtonReply

Terri

I did not care for my May box. I got Amiga dry shampoo, Kerastase hair oil, Real Chemistry peel (sample choice), Cotz blemish creme, Coastal Scents Reveal 3 shadow sampler. But will give them a try. Didn’t like Boxycharm this month either, haven’t gotten Ipsy yet, so hoping for a stellar bag! What beauty box do ya’ll recommend in the A $20-$25 range? I’m thinking about canceling Boxycharm. Thanks

Marie

I would most definitely go with Beauty Fix from the dermstore!! Amazing high end skincare.. Never disappoints .. Look up Liz reviews! $25

LB

I went to the site to subscribe but the link didn’t take me to it. Are they not taking new subs?

AnnaD

I’ll second Julep. I love their eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip gloss, and polish. You can switch up what you want every month and you can skip months. I wanted to love Glossybox but I’ve paid for two months and received nothing from them and their customer service is the worst.

Reply ButtonReply

misha

I love julep! Their beauty selection is amazing, so you don’t always have to choose polish. But their polish is up there with OPI, but 4/5 free! The colors are always amazing and you earn points to use towards free add ons on future boxes

Reply ButtonReply

I love Glossybox, and am rarely disappointed in them. I almost always find 1-3 items that I love.

Sara

I still haven’t received my May Birchbox, which I was soooo excited about my samples this month. I guess it’s lot in the mail, it was the first month I didn’t pick a sample. June sample choice doesn’t look too exiting either, how many of those 3 minute peels do they have?? I love Harvey Prince though, but probably won’t pick a sample again, I don’t need another eyeliner, I’ve received that one at least twice already.

Reply ButtonReply

SJ

They don’t ship the boxes until the 10th of the month. I usually get mine between the 15th and 20th of the month.

Reply ButtonReply

Cb

I got the three minute peel in my May box (sample choice) and I’m thinking about getting it again in June. I love that stuff!! My skin feels and looks amazing after one use:)

Reply ButtonReply

Lili

I’m not really excited by any of the options this month. I might go for the dr. jart. However, I’ve very excited about the code thing!

Reply ButtonReply

Melanie McKinnon

Whyyyyyyy are they still sending eyeliner?!

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

So disappointed to see fragrance in the curated box!

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

Ooh, but that thing about the code in our boxes looks pretty neat! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

ARG! These past few months have not had much of anything I’ve wanted in the sample choice. Dangit. Maybe I’ll just not make a selection again. 😛

Reply ButtonReply

Anastasia

I think I’m leaning towards the eye gels or the microwater. Pretty good sample choices for this month! The curated box doesn’t look too appealing as I already have the Real Chemistry peel from this month’s box. There’s nothing else in it that I would want especially if everyone is getting the liquid liner.

Sandra

*soo

sandra

o look who it is? It is good ole Harvey Prince again! I’m soon surprised Birchbox 🙂 lol

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

Wow nice, I actually am not sure what sample to pick! Lol I am almost tempted to sign up for a second box even though I won’t be able to pick the sample on that.

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

I think I want one of the spf lotions or eye gel samples.
