Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. Each month you get full size or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag. I think it’s one of the best value beauty subscriptions and a great way to build out your makeup collection on the cheap!
(FYI – Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month – so my review is just one of the bag variations you might receive!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Each month you get a makeup bag with your subscription. I really like the design this month! And I love the canvas bag is lined with a nylon interior making it easy to clean.
Luxie 205 Tapered Blending Brush - Value $12
I love getting makeup brushes in subscription boxes! This brush is very soft, and it gets bonus points for being cruelty-free!
Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray - FULL SIZE! Value $24
I can't believe they sent the full-size version of this spray! I've sampled the travel size versions before thanks to a few subscriptions, and it is a great volume spray.
NUXE Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel - .5 oz Value $1.40
I've sampled NUXE products before thanks to Birchbox, so I'm guessing I'll like this cleanser. (I can already tell I like the scent).
Jesse's Girl Pure Pigment Eye Dust in Brown Sugar - FULL SIZE! Value $5
I was happy to see that this eyeshadow has an almost matte finish (not much shimmer). I have a ton of shimmery eye shadows in this shade, so at least this keeps it different and good for everyday makeup looks. (I've swatched it below).
Urban Decay Revolution High Color Lipgloss + Ozone 24/7 Glide-on Lip Pencil - Value $17
This lip gloss gives a ton of pigment and shine. It's almost pretty long lasting - I tried out the purple Bittersweet shade, and my lips are still purple after eating dinner. (Also - who knew I would like purple lipgloss? It's a bold look for me, but I think I'll try to find a similar shade in a lip product that is a little more sheer).
I'm impressed with the size of the Ozone 24/7 lip liner - it is 3/4 the size of the full-size version. It also glides on easily just like the name claims!
And here are swatches of the lipgloss colors and the eyeshadow:
(It took some work to get those urban decay glosses off my wrist!)
Verdict: This month's Ipsy has a value of about $59. I think that's incredible for a $10 a month subscription, and I still can't believe I got a full-sized Oscar Blandi product! I think I'll use everything included, and the purple lipgloss pushed me out of my makeup comfort zone in a good way!
