Mindfulness Box Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Info

Each item comes with a card with information about how to use it, its benefits, etc.

Mindfulness Box Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Soap

A Wild Soapbar Sea Scrub - Value $6.50

This soap smells wonderful (I can't get enough natural soap scents!) and I love that it is topped off with Himalayan sea salt! The soap also has pumice in the formula to help with exfoliation.

Aloha Bay Abundance Chakra Energy Candle with Votive Glass Container - Value $5

This candle has essential oil scents of lavender, fir, and chamomile - and it has a lot of scent! I can just leave this out - no need to burn it! Now, I'm already interested in trying out some of their seasonal candles.

Mindfulness Box Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Paper

Flying Wish Paper - Value $11

This wishing paper kit includes 15 sheets of Flying Wish Paper, 5 Wish Platforms, and a pencil with instructions. How to use:

Think of a special wish - your dream, your deepest desire, your ambitions, concerns or burdens - and write it on the Flying Wish Paper. Shape your paper into a tube and place it on the Wish Platform Card. Light the top edge of the tube and watch it burn down in a small, beautiful flame. At the last moment your wish magically lifts off the platform and rises to the heavens!

If you are curious about these - I recommend checking out the video on this page. It is fun when the wishes lift off from the table at the end!

Mindfulness Box Subscription Box Review – July 2015 Keychain

Agate Geode Keychain - $10

Random Acts of Kindness Cards (5)

I'm a little worried about this keychain getting damaged in my purse against my other keys, so I'll probably keep it on a spare key chain instead. It is gorgeous and I want to make sure it stays that way!

These random act of kindness cards are such a thoughtful addition to the box. Mindfulness Box recommends leaving them on a coworker's desk, someone's windshield, etc.

(This box also included a Dori the Mama Goddess Card from Virtual Vinyasa).

Verdict: Based on the prices listed on the card, this box has a retail value of about $32.50. (Not including the items with a priceless value 🙂 ) Personally, I think this box is more about the curated experience and the monthly mindfulness reminders than the retail value. If that appeals to you, I would definitely recommend this box..

I think this is such a unique box! I love the random acts of kindness cards and the little blurb on the info card about “showering back to the present” because it emphasizes positive mood and living in the present moment. The Chakra Energy candle and the soap look like awesome, practical items but IMO the info card makes them sound too gimmicky–it’s just a great-smelling candle, plain and simple! The overall presentation is great though and I could totally see myself getting this for some more mindfulness in my life.

I feel like this is the kind of box that would include a Headspace subscription? *hopeful*

I really like the idea of those RAK cards. I like the idea of taking them with me and putting them on someone’s windshield…. but in today’s society…. I would worry about someone a) taking it the wrong way, b) accuse me of attempted robbery/vandalism/some other nefarious deed.

Still…. I like the idea so I may get them and do it anyway. 😉
