A Wrinkle in Time Shirt – Value $27.50

Each month will include an exclusive tee design from Appraising Pages just for The Bookish Box subscribers. I like the fit and fabric weight of this tee (100% preshrunk cotton). I went with the women’s fitted tee sizing, but they also have unisex tee sizing.

Rich Love Shoppe Necklace - Value $17

This necklace has domed glass sealed over a print that says, "I'll cross the sky for you."

Hello Happy Magnetic Bookmark - Value $3

Subscribers either receive a Star Wars or Dr. Who themed bookmark. I love these little magnetic bookmarks - I think we'll stock up on a few from their etsy shop!

The Fragrance Library Maze Runner Candle - Value $4

Book inspired candles never smell like what I imagine they will - but this one smells good! It has a bit of a watermelon hint to it!

Night and Day Baby Dr. Who Headwrap - Value $8

I couldn't find this exact pattern in their etsy shop, but they do have another Dr. Who print headwrap that I used for the pricing. I think I will end up swapping this to a Dr. Who fan!

Oyster 1 Month Gift Card - Value $9.95

I love my Oyster subscription - it's an unlimited free digital book service that is $9.95 a month. (They don't get brand new releases, but they have a ton of inventory). This gift card code is good for one month free, but the referral link actually gets you $15 free (1.5 free months). FYI - either way you have to enter credit card info.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $60 (or about $70 if you count the Oyster gift card code). I think this is one of the best boxes yet from The Bookish Box, and I'm sucker for a good themed box!

Thanks for your kind words, I really enjoyed putting this month together.

Hmmm… it seems like more of a general geek box than a “bookish” box, doesn’t it? I mean, I think there have been novelizations of Dr. Who but the tv show came first and is vastly more popular. And I don’t even know what Star Wars has to do with books.

heyhey

there’s a huge line of Doctor Who books. And Star Wars was a book before it was a movie

I have to say I was not expecting to love this as much as I do. A Wrinkle in Time was one of my all time childhood favorites. I almost named my youngest Charles Wallace, I love the character that much. I just watched the Maze Runner and read the sample before and although it has mixed reviews I really loved it. The wrap is the perfect gift for my 23 year-old. If this box was still for sale I would be all over it.

Looks like September boxes are open. It says midnight tonight, but their Facebook page makes it sound like it is open now. The theme is Deep Reads.

I love the blue shirt. It’s a nice change from the black shirts we see in sub boxes. I keep looking at the themes to see if one catches my eye.

This review inspired me to visit Hello Happy where I purchased 2 sets of bookmarks (one to keep and one to give).

I can’t imagine what I’d expect The Maze Runner to smell like. Danger? Greaver bile? Dirt from the Glade? 😉 I want it anyway, just because I read and loved the trilogy!

Also, I totally want that Dr. Who wrap!
