Moon Valley Organics Skin Essentials Collection - Value $20

I love the Moon Valley Organics brand (I think I discovered it through Yogi Surprise). Everything in this set is perfect for me:

The lip balm adds a good amount of shine, and it has a subtle herbal scent, but really not much flavor. Here are the other two items unboxed:

the-remedy-rush-august-2015-soap

The Orange Spice cleansing bar is a perfect fall themed scent for me - it features organic sweet orange oil and organic clove oil - I can't stop smelling it!

the-remedy-rush-august-2015-lotion-bar

The Moon Melt Lotion Bar is more subtly scented than the soap bar - the strongest scent for me is actually the beeswax! It is a very rich moisturizer - perfect for dry skin in winter months!

the-remedy-rush-august-2015-arnica

Innate Organic Body Arnica & Tumeric Muscle and Joint Balm - Value $18

This Muscle and Joint balm is designed to help minor aches and pains. It's blended with a few essential oils, but the overall scent to me is peppermint - very refreshing even if you don't have aches and pains!

WoodSprite Organic Body Soy Votive Candles in Lemon Verbena and Sauna Blend - Value $12 total

I have found my new favorite candle brand! Here are the details on their ingredients:

No dyes. No synthetic fragrances. Each of our beautiful hand-poured soy aromatherapy candles features pure essential oils and cotton-fiber wicks for the cleanest scent delivery in a soot-free, biodegradable vegetable wax.

I love both of these scents, and plan on buying more soon. I really want to try the Forest and North Shore scents! (And I just saw on their facebook page that their Pumpkin Chai limited edition line launches tomorrow!)

WoodSprite Organic Body Ginger Glow Warming Sea Salt Glow - 2 oz Value $4

Ginger Glow Warming Herbal Spa Salts - 4 oz Value $6.50

More wonderful scents! This sea salt scrub is made with a lot of oil, so it leaves skin super moisturized, but be careful to make sure your shower floors don't get too slick! I'm excited to try the spa salts next. (At first I thought this scrub would actually heat up when you rub it in - but the warming part of the name refers to "restoring your body's own inner fire!"

Fabulous Frannie Roll On De-Stress Essential Oil Blend - Value $6

Fabulous Frannie 100% Pure Essential Oil - Value $6

The De-Stress Blend is made with: Grapefruit Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil and Coconut Carrier Oil. Fortunately I love the scent of lavender, so both of these oils are a win for me.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $72. I would love to see the value be a little higher for a $59 box, but they hit it out of the park for me when it comes to curation. I love every single item in this box, and I plan on buying more from these brands, so I couldn't be happier.

This box looks so nice and Caroline’s $42 per box with 1 year sub + coupon definitely makes it more appealing…

Liz, I guess they didn’t send you the winter box to review? I’ll have to see if I can find information on it elsewhere – I’m VERY curious!

I need an intervention and stop being an insomniac. I just ordered the four seasons which is $199. I then found code SAVE15 so I got 15% off total so… each box costs me about $42.29. That is almost (by a few pennies) 20% the single box of $59. This includes shipping and I have a very eco-conscious sister. She was just “advising” me about face scrub beads are plastic and you need to read every ingredient. SO! I think I just got her birthday (November) and Holiday gifts. They said by 9/4… wonder if I’ll get 1st box … are they east or west coast?

too soon for me to jump. like others wish there was more or less cost. painful we will have no idea what is in store until next quarter 😐 Liz, I hope you get spoilers … and coupons!

I would order this box if it was cheaper with fewer products. It’s a value in my book but 1) I don’t need that many products on top of what I already get and 2) $60 is a lot for my budget. Nice stuff though!

I love most of these items! Make those candles larger (or in a little tin at least) and drop the price $10-$15 (or raise the value by that much or $20) and I’d be SO in!!
Am I asking too much?? 🙂

heyhey

Do you know if we ordered this now we would start with this box or would we have to wait for the next quarter’s box?

Ann

I think from what they said on their website that if you ordered by September 4 during the launch, you would get the fall box.
