Messy Box is a new scrapbooking subscription from A Beautiful Mess. I love my Happy Mail subscription, so I wanted to try this one out too. I have never scrapbooked, but I love their designs so much I figured I could use the items for something else if I didn’t take it up! (They also sell exclusive scrapbook books and pages to go along with the sizes of items in this kit).
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Messy Box
The Cost: $24.99 ($19.99 a box with an annual subscription)
The Products: Each box is filled with items to scrapbook with including paper and cards, stickers, embellishments, and special items. Each month is color-coordinated and comes with a different technique theme.
Ships to: US and International ($3 shipping fee per box for International subscribers).

9×12 papers
These boxes always include 4 9×12 papers. In the past they've been one-sided, but this month the are double-sided! Here is the flip side of these two:
And here is the next set:
I want to frame these! (And I also think A Beautiful Mess should launch a new subscription with just framable prints!)
Flip sides:
Set of journal cards (6 3×4″ 6 4×6″ and 12 3×3″)
These cards are all reversible – so you have a lot of options to pick from. Here are the larger sizes:
I am loving all the phrases this month!
Icon Chipboard Stickers
Mini Tape
Black Plastic Numbers
Here is a closer look at the mini washi tape:
So cute!
Silver Foil Labels
I thought these were stickers - but not so! (I ruined two of them finding that out!)
Verdict: Since I haven't gotten into scrapbooking yet (my Messy Box items are currently in a box I refer to as "someday") I really like that this month the large pages are such fun and framable designs. (I hope that continues!)
Based on the comments from some scrapbooking readers on previous Messy Box reviews, I’d say this box is worth the $25 a month cost if you’re excited about exclusive prints and designs from A Beautiful Mess. If you’re looking purely for scrapbooking materials, there are likely cheaper options.
