POPSUGAR Must Have Box December 2015 Review + Coupon

It’s funny, when I first got this box I was grumpy that they sent a different box then I originally thought they would when I placed my order, but it turned out to be my favorite of the three so far! I used or swapped everything but the lipstick trio, and I really like the bracelet, tape, bottle plug and jewelry box. I’m hoping March is much better! Their February box is actually nice- just not much I can use.

The My Cup of Cake promo code we received in the December Popsugar box isn’t working and there isn’t any contact information on the website. Has anybody tried to pursue it? Thanks so much.

Has anyone tried using the promo code for My Cup Of Cake on their website? I just keep getting the message that the promo code is not valid. I’m not trying to use it on a sale item or anything. What a tease! Was this promo code a fake? Has it worked for anyone else?

I love everything in this box!! If anyone received two and wants to swap the other one for a bespoke post box (I have Copper up on the swap site) let me know!

I got my box today and am only keeping the chocolate cake and the lipsticks. But my box was missing the gift tags and coupon. But oh well I don’t really need them. I still dislike the bracelet, the jewelry box and wine stopper. I can’t wait to see what January brings!

Did anybody get a confirmation email yesterday about getting the November box ??
I already got a november box last month and just got my December box yesterday.
I did order the 6 month deal but this is weird.
Really dont want two Nov boxes

This box is much nicer in person. Wasn’t thrilled to receive it but I really liked everything now that I see it in person.

I love this box. This is the first time since I signed up in July where I didn’t read any spoilers. It was so fun to open. I love the chunky bracelet and have a petite wrist but chunky Jewerly is in. I like that it’s a mixed metal so I can pair with one of my watches. I needed a Jewerly box and it’s cute. Wine stopper is cute and will make a great gift along with a bottle of wine.

I’m sad. I got my box today and it was missing the bracelet.

Did anyone else’s chocolate pouch thing get punctured and spill chocolate powder all over every single thing in the box??? I wanted to gift the lipsticks and the chocolate got down deep into the crevices of the inside packaging and smeared all over the outer packaging. And I don’t get to eat the yummy cake now 🙁 I emailed them – but it sounds like replacements are usually super slow?

Also, the bracelet is nicer in person, I hated the picture but now am thinking about keeping it. It’s different. And the jewelry box is gorgeous! I can never have enough wine stoppers and this one is the prettiest I own now 🙂 so mostly a good box except for getting chocolate powder everywhere upon opening …

So either I am an idiot or there is something wrong with my bracelet I can not for the life of me figure out how to clasp it… There was a little piece that was in the bag that fell off of the bracelet… I am wondering if I am having such a hard time because that little price was supposed to do something… Please someone help me

I signed up to PopSugar after reading this review and absolutely fell in love with the Luv Aj The Rose Gold Ombre Bracelet. Rather than swapping, I decided to give this subscription a try. Just opened the box this afternoon and please with every single item EXCEPT the bracelet. Half of one of the links is missing so it’s completely unusable/unwearable because it can’t clasp together. I’m extremely disappointed that the single item I was the most excited about, came broken in the box. I cancelled my subscription and emailed them with attached photos. (probably should’ve waited until a response before canceling)

I know this is the plight of those with food allergies but do you ever feel a little bummed when the food items include wheat? We are a celiac family and it’s super annoying to find that almost every food item has gluten in it or was made in a facility that also produces products with wheat like the box of chocolates.

I love the bracelet way more than I thought I would… however… the clasp is a bit flimsy. I’m not sure if the silver part is supposed to be wearing through at the edges to look a bit rose gold or if its just the silver already coming off? Either way… I hope it lasts longer than I predict because it really is very nice looking on.

This is a good box for me. I think the jewelry box is pretty, and the bracelet is nicer in person. I like that it features a mix of the metal colors, so I can use it as a blending piece to wear more than one tone seamlessly.

The glitter tape is kind of cute, and I like the Tiny Prints gc.

I like lipstick but two of the three aren’t really my colors, so I think I’ll swap the whole set. I also don’t drink wine, so I have the geo stopper up for swap, too.

I’m giving the cake to my husband. It’s right up his alley. 🙂

I really like this box! Unfortunately I have no idea where it is being sent because as I was trying to change my shipping address when the popsugar website crashed! The subscription section hasn’t been working in over a week, I can’t even cancel my subscription if I wanted to ! Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a customer service number to call? I’ve sent three emails to customer service and haven’t received any replies….

I really like this box!!! The bracelet is much better looking in person. In my opinion it looks great on and not “Mr T” like if you ONLY where the bracelet.. I think If you had on earings, a necklace and rings on it would be overkill. With just the bracelet on it looks really nice. I liked last months box a lot too.

Like several other commenters, I never received my shipping notification. Even on their website my December box still says “processing.” But my box was waiting for me when I got home last night. Or, at least, HALF my box. The bracelet and wine stopper were missing! It took about a month to get my Capri jewel box, which arrived shattered in November’s box, replaced. I hope I won’t be waiting a month for these two items. I’m not going to get into whether I actually like these items – the packaging and shipping has just been atrocious lately. I wrote to customer service immediately.

Also, I used the recent promo code to renew my subscription for six months. I assumed since my December box was already processing, the renewal would begin in January. My account shows that I will receive a second December box though, so I sent an email asking that the subscription be changed. I received what I hope was an automated response with the “good news” that I will be able to get the December box. Not what I want!

Starting to wonder if I should cancel the six months I just purchased….

I just received my box today but I never receiving a shipping notice. I logged into my account and there wasn’t a tracking number there either (so for anyone who hasn’t received tracking it might be on the way). This wasn’t my favorite box but I really liked the jewelery box and wine stopper.

This bracelet is so bad! It’s hard to sub to this knowing you will receive something you don’t like. The blue box is gorgeous though. I’m sure there will be 100 bracelets on swap. But it is a great deal and not sure I can resist. But does that mean subscribers will get two December boxes?

Received this box today. I tried unsuccessfully to cancel my subscription before it was sent to me after I saw the review. I hate everything in this box. I wouldn’t pay $5 for all this stuff combined.

Whoa. I’m glad I scrolled down to read the review and look at all the pics. I thought the lipsticks were wine-related items since they were pictured next to it. I love lipstick. Good old-fashioned lipstick, not gloss. The colors look super cute and I can’t wait to try them.

I went to Stowaway Cosmetics website to see what else they offered and when you sign up for the Stowaway Kit and get the bonus 3 lipsticks, they don’t have to be the same colors you got in the box. You can mix and match and get any three or even three of the same color!!!

The jewelry box is pretty. I don’t wear much jewelry but even if I did, I’m giving the box to my boyfriend. His father passed away a few months ago and he was given a few pieces of jewelry to remember him by. I think he would really like the color and style of the box and that it would keep his treasures safe and secure from harm or loss. We have cats and he’s known for putting things in random places.

I don’t drink wine, but my sisters do, so whichever one I decide I like more will get it for Christmas. It’s lovely, though.

Boyfriend will like the My Cup of Cake dessert. He is the chocolate fan in the house. I like buttery sweets so all chocolate goes to him. It would have been nice if they included a brand mug in the box. For a little extra expense, they could have received so much blog buzz and word of mouth advertising. I’m sure Jim will “complain” that the cake is too rich, but he’ll end up eating every bite. It would pain him too much to let perfectly yummy, warm cake go to waste.

I agree with some of the ladies who dislike the chunky “Mr T” bracelet. Even when I was a little girl, I didn’t like that kind of look, even though it was style back then. I’m sure it’s cute on the right person, just not for me. I don’t have tiny wrists but my style is more bohemian and I don’t like the feel of metal on my skin. I don’t think any of my family or friends would like it so I might trade it or sell it.

The tags and glitter tape are cute so I’ll use those. Although, I may be the nice aunt and let the kiddos have the tape for crafts.

I love that the wine stopper matches the candle holders in the For her box! But that’s a lot of lip color, even for me!

I’m glad you like your box. December box is not to my taste. I’m still waiting for my November box. I have contacted them three times. I didn’t even get a response back to second time I contacted them. I feel as though they keep giving me the run around. Response back I got back earlier this I still don’t know if they sent my November box. That was a lot of money for me to purchase the November box. Is too much to ask for them to say yes your box shipped out or no it didn’t but should by this date? I’m glad I cancel before I could be charged for December box since one I wouldn’t have been able to afford it and two this box is truly not to my taste at all and would not be able to use at least half the stuff.
