Book Summary from Amazon:
When handsome California surf god Lincoln Savage suddenly rolls into Ocean Beach like a rogue wave, shy beauty Simone Bianchi’s foundation is shaken. No longer under the thumb of her domineering father, she’s made a simple quiet life for herself and her fluffy fourteen pound Havanese pup running a surf shop in her hometown of OB. Long ago she gave up her dreams for a future with Linc. But now the notorious lead singer of the Dirt Dogs has returned, and Simone is reluctant to admit that she’s still vulnerable to his killer dimpled smile and easy charm. She finds that although she’s stowed away the mementos, it hasn’t been as easy to erase the memories of their epic summer love. It seems he hasn’t forgotten, either. Is the recording contract he’s offering merely a pretense? Or does he have something more in mind? Does he really believe that they can just pick up where they left off, despite all the bad luck and heartache? And is she willing to risk everything again for one last chance at love?

Book Summary from Amazon:
A strong-willed yet vulnerable young beauty, Julia Pearl is sixteen years old when she’s sent away to summer camp for the first time. Julia’s father and stepmother are convinced that time away from home will be good for Julia, hoping it will restore the confidence she lost when her mother disappeared five years earlier.
Released from the emotional constraints of her new family and the ugly reputation her mother left behind, Julia finds herself reluctantly tossed into the free-spirited and often drama-infused world of overnight camp—where she quickly falls for an intensely charismatic counselor named Jack Dempsey, a nineteen-year-old college student who will prove to save her life in more ways than one.
Rich with humor and poignancy, Whisper If You Need Me is a timeless story that will remind readers of the strength of friendship, the unwavering devotion of family, and ultimately, the power of young love.
This box also came with some new Book Worm items like socks:
Plus their standard Bookworm branded items. And promotional cards for other books:
Verdict: I’d recommend this box if you’re looking for a signed books and giving back with your purchase. It definitely isn’t going to be a high-value box, but I’m enjoying it. I'm interested in reading all these books too. I think this is the first time they included a YA book in this box too!
Also good to know – the boxes vary per subscriber. Here are some of the other books that were sent this month:
The Allure of Dean Harper, A Lover's Lament
