I recieved my May bag and i definantely loved the eyeshadow thanks for it being my first time trying this app.

I got my bag today and loving the new design bag zipper buttons instead of zips
it’s such a pretty print and I got three Soo AE sheet mask collagen ,brightening and radiance.
I got a Hikari shimmer bronzer
INSPR Eye fluff brush
Smashbox xrated mascara
Épicé hydrating mask sample
Love it all !!!???

I love Ipsy for the simple fact that I do get random brands. I have received some great stuff from brands I would have never known about if it wasn’t for Ipsy. It is a great way to really broaden your makeup or skincare stash. Don’t underestimate the off brands some are really good.

Getting a tiny perfume sample that I could get 8 of of I wanted at Sephora for free is NOT cool. I do not ever want perfume, have told them in as many very direct ways as possible how much I dislike Hikari and bronzer and BOTH are in my bag, again. I have soooooo much Hikari. Any time anything comes damaged, I swear they replace my items with Hikari and Be a Bombshell the 2 brands I absolutely never, ever want.

I’m frustrated because they advertise that it’s customized to your preferences, curated for you and that your responses and feedback matter, however for me, they have NOT, not one bit.

I keep stressing I want anti-aging, wrinkle-preventing moisturizers and masks and I don’t get them. I’d be very pleased with the bag reviewed here, since the Hikari Bronzer would be the ONLY thing I wouldn’t use and don’t like.

I wish they’d tell me which of the “Beauty Gurus” love Hikari and Bronzer so I can NEVER check them, LOL!

Crystal, please tell me, which Beauty Gurus did you select? Please tell me anything else you’d like to share, I wanna copy your logarithm, lol!

I love all of the spoilers but I must be subscribed to a different IPSY cause I have yet to see, at least 1, of the spoilers in my box. I always get this random stuff by random manufacturers. I NEVER get name brand useful things. I am giving it one more month, if things don’t change I’m going to cancel, besides I am totally excited about getting in on Play!!! by Sephora. I get my first box next month, I can’t wait!!

If you are getting nothing but weird stuff you may want to redo your quiz. I was told less is more and my bags have significantly improved. I have yet to receive a glamglow sample but I did get the Tarte crayon last bag. Some of my favorite Ipsy items were weird brands I’ve never heard of like Booboo concealer. I wish they would stop with anything I could buy at Rite Aide or get for free from a hotel.

Ditto on everything you said! I like all of these but I won’t get one. I kept ipsy one more month after finally getting sephora because I want to use my points but they don’t even have anything to redeem for.

Many of those random brands are actually good products. Name brand definitely doesn’t mean better in many cases. I’ve looked several things up and been pleasantly surprised at the quality I find.

I got my first Sephora play last week. It is full of top name samples. So worth the price!

I was so disappointed with Sephora’s Play box. This month they sent out TONS of ‘off the waitlist’ emails and apparently forgot to add tons of boxes. I got my email, was so excited, just to be put back on the waitlist. It was a horrible experience and if it happens one more time I’m going to say screw it to Sephora. I did contact costumer service and got 100 points, but I would have rather had an actual box, or have a place held for me next month.

Do you think the bag to the right is May’s glambag? I’m a new-ish subscriber so I don’t know if that’s a previous bag? Either way, it’s really cute!

I have never see them use a button clasp bag before. However I can see based on their design that May will be a sort of ‘travel’ themed month and the bag to the right does seem as if it would go with that. I’m going to guess yes, but we’ll know for sure in a couple of days.

I know people complain about getting black eyeliner, but it’s such a staple that I can always use more! Especially waterproof, since I wear contacts and worry about messing up my makeup if I have an issue with them.

I edited my Ipsy profile a wee bit hoping to get the eyeliner!

I’m hoping for the glam glow like most everyone else. I get frustrated though when ipsy releases spoilers and there is one hot item that everyone wants but only a few people get. It seems like whenever a smashbox item is offered, most people get it. I have gotten every smashbox item offered since I started subscribing. I’d rather have the smashbox mascara then the eyeliner. Like most of us who have subscribed to beauty boxes for awhile, I have plenty of black eyeliners. I might take a break from ipsy now that I finally got Sephora play.

correct! many of us do have tons of eyeliner but they are not created equal! i too also would like to try the eyeliner. nothing is more pleasing than a smooth effortless gliding eyeliner. i hope this is the case 😉 if not that, then glamglow >.<

I just resubscribed ? I cancelled 4 months ago and now I’m back. Lol. I’ll see how my May’s bag looks like and June’s. If I like both months , I’ll go on to a third month but I don’t think I’ll stay for long. I had ipsy for about 1 year and five months and cancelled in December 2015. Those darn, cute little bags can seriously pile up! ?

Like the majority here, i’d prefer the Glamglow. I have way too many black eyeliners, and I only use mascara on my lower lashes because I wear extensions.

The white is my favorite as well, but for some reason I thought it was the new kind that turns gold. I’ve been wanting to try that one. Considering the popularity if they wanted a ton of new subscribers they should just make it so that everyone gets a glamglow sample.

Hahahaha! Exactly! I dropped IPSY when I got the Sephora Play invite, and even if there was a 1/3 chance of getting the GlamGlow I don’t think I’d resubscribe. The last thing I need is more eyeliner and mascara. Hope you get your GlamGlow.

I would be happy with all three so excited for the May bag but concerned because this April bag is my first Ipsy and according to its tracking numbers its been processed for three business days. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? It keepa saying ita supposed to arrive this friday.

Mine usually comes about 2-3 days before it says it should on the DHL tracking.

Yes that’s normal, at least for me too the first didn’t update but I got it and mine both times came the day before.

It’s not usually worth the full size for me, but I do love gettin samples of it from time to time. I have severely dry skin due to autoimmune health issues (Luoud) except in the summer, and the items I’ve tried scrub well but I tend to need more moisturizer regardless of which product I use. I still hope I get the Glamglow as well!

I would like the glamglow, I just ran out of mine. The mascara also would be nice, I did really like the smashbox full exposure I got in ipsy a few months ago. Eyeliner I just have enough of.
