Yes I got it and it has already shipped yay! I am almost done with the exfolikate that I received I think it was in the limited edition popsugar box ..I can’t remember which one and I love it so good timing with that and I can’t believe how much it cost $24 for the .5 oz so definitely a good deal with this sample bag. Also I’ve been dying to try Sunday Riley Luna oil. I got the egg mask in a birchbox but I gave it to my sister who wanted to try it so now I have another opportunity to try it and that alone cost $8 for that mask! The l’occtainte almond oil is another one and it also retails for like $9 so I definitely think this bag is worth it! I also got the new TARTE Skin Squad Deluxe Discovery Set for $22 to get free shipping it has the bb cream, blush and the mascara and three other things and I added the drunk elephant free sample if you spend over $35 that had some good choices to pick from with additional 3 free samples so I think it was a good buy!

I’m a bit upset with myself. I JUST bought that exfoliator two or three days ago. It’s $22 all on it’s own which is HALF of the box! I’m seriously considering returning it, I want to buy this but don’t need two of the same item. For me it’s like the box costs around $20 if I were to return it and just get the item again.

At the same time I don’t really NEED these items, and they aren’t really things I’ve been craving to try out later so I’ll probably just stick with what I have.

I really try very little of what I get, but I enjoy receiving those boxes and opening them up! I pick and save what I really want to try. The rest I accumulate and take to the women’s shelter. The ladies in the front really light up when I bring a box in and it’s well worth to see their faces. So, those with stashes, yes! consider donating them.

This box is a little high.

I do that too. I take all the samples from my too many boxes which I know I have no interest in, along w/ all my Ipsy bags which I do not need or use to my local Women’s Abuse Shelter. I add in stuff for the kids that are there w/ them that I get on clearance sales. Last month I took up my 3 months worth of stash, (3 huge boxes..Hmm..might I have a Subscription Addiction?) and discovered some items they were in need of also and one totally surprised me but made me happy too. The surprising one was they accept and cherish fresh fruit, vegetables and meats. I never heard of that before. So I am excited to start looking for good fruit and meats at Costco and I will certainly take all my extra veggies from my garden to them this Summer. Also, they recently started an art therapy program so I got supplies for adult and child coloring books, plain paper, colored pencils, crayons and paints all on clearance. Hence, my Subscription Addiction is beneficial to me and the Community which totally justifies it in my World!

Too pricey

$42 is way to much for samples and like every one else here i have so much stuff right now. I keep it in a large shoe box under my bed lol..i wish we could post pictures of our stashes cause ya’ll now we box addicts have a stash!!

Seriously. When I first saw this, I was like, “Sephora, take my money,” but the price is a bit high for me to actually do that. I have enough of all of these types of products to choke a horse.

Reply ButtonReply

mimi

Ordered one. I can always use more samples, and needed to do some more Sephora shopping so I also grabbed a few other things.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

Well I almost bought it – but a big thank you to everyone who commented here bc after reading comments, I realized I already have way too many products at home already and I don’t really need to add to my collection.
If it was maybe $25ish and I still had Flash shipping, I’d probably go for it… but for now I’m saying no. (and hopefully after Liz’s review it’ll be sold out or I still have enough will power to say no)

I totally caved….I’ve been wanting to try quite a few of these products. Plus, going on vacation in June, and these will be great for travel! Fun stuff!

Caligirl

Little pricey. I too am on product overload. And I was going to get it (addict) but the Nats set I was going to use with my points is gone so that sealed it No. #tryingtosayno

Adele

I’m not getting this, but since 2 of the samples have been in the Play box, I hope some of the others will make it in as well, like the Luna.

Are there any Sephora coupons or discount codes?

Sephora has two big sales a year with 10/15 percent off for VIB/Rouge members at the beginning of the year and again around Nov/Dec where it bumps up to 15/20%. It depends on how much you spend a year for what level you are for the following year, you’re whatever level the year you get it and then keep it for the next calendar year.

However, as a Rouge member, I get tons of great codes during the month for various things I want in deluxe sample size, sometimes there are little bags of samples, I have free 2 day shipping on any order of any size…even if it was a pencil sharpener or some hair ties. Also as a Rouge member, I get random store event invites where I get a discount, a goodie bag, in store perks fairly regularly. I’ve gone to some, the ones I went to were handy.

Right now I just got a code for a bunch of deluxe samples from Farmacy, Korres, Tatcha, Origins, Drunk Elephant, Boscia or Sunday Riley (use code FUTURE for Beauty Insiders, which means you just have to register with them and don’t need points yet, with any $25 purchase).

Tamara

Sephora discount codes only come out twice a year. As it turns out, they recently sent out 10% off codes to VIBs/Rouges but I’m not sure about regular Beauty Insiders. But they’re one-time use codes, so if Sephora didn’t send you one, getting your hands on one could be challenging.

But they do always have several codes for freebies! It’s usually just one or two deluxe samples, but hey. Free.

Thanks, Tamara!

The Exfolikate alone is worth $24!! I did the math and found the value to be about $138 – which is shocking since Sephora usually overestimates the value of their Favorites sets, not underestimates!

I’m sorely tempted by this, as I am by so many of their Favorites sets, but like everyone else, I’m on product overload. I even have a full size tube of Exfolikate I haven’t opened yet.

What was that about addiction? 😉

Elizabeth

I am also tempted to get this, but $42 seems a little steep. I don’t have these specific samples, but I do have several in most of the categories that I need to use first! I have been wanting to try many of these samples though. Decisions….decisions…

terie

if you have too many skincare or makeup samples ( we all get there eventually) you could consider donating them . I keep extra samples and hotel products and donate them to a local domestic abuse shelter. They are appreciated!

Jen

I’ve practically had to tie my hands together since I saw this go up yesterday. I want everything here but just don’t NEED it. Heck, I’ve already got one of a few of those items already sitting in my stash!

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

I opted for this instead of the Birchbox LE box. I have enough sunnies, beach towels, and salt sprays haha. Not exciting to me. But I love skincare! I’m new to the box game and have only tried one of these so far. Thanks for posting!

Maribel:)

Yes, i want this, but not at $42 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Chantteé

It’s nice for someone that is just getting into Sephora products but I have tried too many of these to justify $42 for it. I would like it for 1/2 that, though.

Reply ButtonReply

MzBev

That’s what I was thinking! If it was $20-25 I’d probably grab one. $42? I’ll pass.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

In my best Mommy Dearest voice, “no more darn samples”!!! Plus, this costs too much.

Reply ButtonReply

Sonja Merian

I won’t get this one because I just got the sephora at jcpenney bag for $38 and it had way more products I had never tried or received in boxes. But I am hoping to get their sun safety box, I use sunscreen year round. Does everyone know that Ulta is putting out great sample boxes at the $7.99 and $9.99 price points? I’m addicted.

Reply ButtonReply

bunnygirlbrem

There’s a Sephora at JC Penney bag?!? Do tell more! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Heather

Where does one find these Ulta boxes?

Reply ButtonReply

Valerie

Can you tell me more about this bag? Did you get it in store? Does your JC Penney have a large Sephora section? I need to know! (so many questions… I can’t control the addiction monster.)

LE Sephora Favorites Skinstant Radiance Set!! Great Gift! I had to get it on Ebay, because you know, they disappear at stores immediately. I got it for $42 shipped BNIB and it was $38 at the JCPenneys Sephora store, but like I say, they go fast. it was a GREAT box.
For those of you interested in the Ulta Kits, they started a couple of months ago. I spot them in the ad, which you can read online, but mine comes in the mail. Look on page 8 of the current ad, and see these current ones, they are all for hair products. But last month’s was skinnovation skin care kit, look it up on ebay. i got it at the store for like 8 bucks. there was another one last month, but I’m well into the products now and don’t have the box anymore. I was SHOCKED at the prices on the boxes ($7.99 – $9.99). I bought them as gifts for friends. I mean, the price of the Target boxes, really, but super nice samples: Neutrogena, Pacifica, Burt’s Bees, just some of the newest beauty products from these, things I don’t spy in the stores.

Meri

They put them in the magazine they mail. I am there to buy them when they open! The hair ones are not even the best ones. The skincare ones are best!

Reply ButtonReply

Ali

When doea Ulta do that? Is it on their site now? Thanks!

Meri

Hair try me kits

AtlMegan

Do you know the names of them or how to effectively search for them? I always have the hardest time searching for whatever reason…

Reply ButtonReply

Elisabeth

Tried a lot of those products and still a bit too much at $42. Easy pass.

Reply ButtonReply

Lindsay Koch

Has anyone heard when the sun safety kit is coming? it’s my fave.

Reply ButtonReply

easteregg

The site said that it would be May 21st but that it was already in stores. That was last week.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

It’s out now at SiJCP locations if you have one near you! I picked one up last week.

Reply ButtonReply

Sabrina

What’s in the bag, and what is the price point?

Samantha

Last time I asked they said end of May or early June.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

For $25-29 yes, for $42 it’s a no. Looks great though!

Reply ButtonReply

Katherine

That is sooo true! Maybe I would consider it at $20 or $25 bucks but definitely not for 42… way too many samples. Some of which we already have

Reply ButtonReply

Steph R

If it’s still available tomorrow (payday!) then I’ll grab one. I’m in product overload but there are a few products in there I’d like to try.
