Avenue A by Adidas Subscription Box Review – Summer 2016

Is anyone else having a painful time trying to exchange items? I emailed them only a few days after I received the box, but I’ve gotten little reply. They say they’re going to send me an exchange, but it’s now been 30 days. I’ve emailed them close to 10 times and the emails go unanswered. The one time I did get an email back, the guy was apologetic but my issue is still not resolved. I’d like a tank and shorts I can wear, please and thank you! Ugh. 🙁

Got my replacement slides so quick. And the tank didn’t fit so they just gave me Adidas e gift card. All my friends will be signing up. The value is INSANE.

I’m with everyone else asking for a men’s box. My hubby would eat it up.

I got my exchanges within a week of requesting them! No notification they just showed up 🙂 super happy with the box!

I am soon disappointed in this company… I never received my box so I reached out to get info. I double checked all my information to assure it wasn’t an error on my end and everything is correct. I have emailed them 5 times and still have no resolution 🙁 I signed up on April 12th and could not wait for this to arrive!! It was my mother’s day gift from my hubby. What a bummer. The part that is most upsetting is that I have been trying to get someone to help me figure it out since June 12th and have gotten nowhere 🙁 Then I recently went to my account and see they cancelled my subscription!

Anyone exchange anything before? How does it work after you request it? I am having difficulty with my exchange. I don’t have my original email with my order number, which is required to do the request online. So, I emailed CS asking for it and they said they could just take care of it and asked what item and size I needed. I responded right back and gave not heard anything, this was Friday. Online it says you have 10 days to exchange, that’s tomorrow for me so I emailed asking for an update and still nothing. Both shoes are way too big so if I can’t exchange those, and the tank, I loss half the value of the box. And I really want those shoes!

Really disappointed because my card company sent me a new chip card without notifying me to the wrong address, and cancelled my other card. I never got an email from my bank OR from Avenue A that the card didn’t go through, and Avenue A cancelled my subscription (again, no email from Avenue A and no other notification to me). Now they say the summer box is sold out (even though I was one of the first subscribers for the Spring Box (which I got and was great). Not too pleased with their customer service. I am a member of several box reveal groups on Facebook and am going to update them on this as well since it’s a glitch or flaw in their customer service. 🙁

Has anybody received their exchanges? They said they were going to send me a smaller size of the slides but I have no received a shipping /tracking number yet. I emailed them twice since Monday and they don’t reply …They had been great about replaying to my emails before but not this time.

What is everyone’s experience with exchanges? I got my box today and requested to change my L tank for XL and my size 10 slides for size 9.

Everything else was fantastic. I’m really hoping the hubby likes the tracker. I got the rest as a bonus for his father’s day gift.

I thought the same!!! I swapped the shorts and got the same email about keeping the current ones! Then I instantly thought, wow hope nobody takes advantage of it. I ordered an 8.5 in the shoes, they got my daughter great! The slides looked huge!!!! But I said try them on first, and she goes oh wait they’re fine lol I thought an 8 would’ve put her foot exactly touching the front and back of the slide, which she hates lol the 9 gave her just a little space at the toe so we kept them. I did immediately update the size in shorts though. Fingers crossed no more exchanges or they start requiring you send the wrong pair back, because that could cause some issues down the line if it gets abused!

I love this box! Super value, great items, and customer service was spectacular when I emailed about exchanging my slides for a smaller size.

The shorts are a bit small for my butt, but I’m taking it as motivation to get out and run more.

Has everyone who subscribed received their summer box?? I signed up in early April, and have not gotten a box yet, or tracking info? Also, I emailed them 4 days ago and still have not received a response.

As soon as I saw that we were getting slides, I was worried because I’m a half size in sneakers but always size down for slides. I think most people do, and I hoped that adidas would send me the smaller size slides. But, I just got my box and they sized up, and the slides are huge. On top of that, I tried on the sneakers and they’re super long on me too. I requested an exchange for 8s in both the slides and the shoes, and am just hoping that they come through!

This might be my favorite subscription box ever! I signed up after seeing the Spring box and also to reward myself for just completing a 7-week program. 🙂 I wore the running shoes and the miCoach for yesterday’s workout. The shoes were very different from what I’m used to (have been wearing various Asics gel shoes for years which feel more structured around the foot), but overall very comfortable and definitely bouncy. I like the tracker, but I did have an issue with it not recording my heart rate correctly…it said 60 bpm after finishing burpees?!?! It seemed accurate during most of the workout, but I caught it showing about half my actual HR or less at times. I’d say it’s great for tracking steps but I’m not sure how accurate the calorie burn will be if the HR is so far off when I’m working my hardest. I might try wearing it with the sensors on the inside of my wrist. I also wore the slides around the house last night. They are so squishy and comfortable! Love the bright colors for summer.

So I wear a size 10 in Nikes and I’ve never worn Adidas before so I also ordered a size 10. They are probably a full size too big! So I initiated an exchange for the slides and shoes both for a size 9 (I’m hoping I didn’t actually need a size 9.5, cross your fingers!). I got an email saying they were sending out the replacements shortly and to keep the wrong size and give them to a friend! WOW!!!! My little sister has bigger feet than I do so it looks like I already have her Christmas gift. I’m just shocked that they told me to keep the running shoes and slides. Although they truly didn’t fit me I can see them being taken advantage of in the future because unfortunately I know people will try. I received the response from customer service a couple hours after I put in my request. They also asked for my thoughts on the box too. Overall, I am so impressed with this box and I really hope they keep this subscription going! Oh, and also start offering a mens version!

Does anyone know if there is a men’s version? My friend is super of jealous of my box and now wants one, only issue is, he is not female. So, is there a male version?

If I sub now do I get the summer box?

Seriously, those custom slides are the best ever. Adidas, make those puppies in kids sizes too so my whole family can match. (I am sure the kids will be *delighted* about that idea.)

Just got my box today and I am in love! The shoes are pretty amazing, both in comfort and color. But I’ll need to get running in them to fit into the top and shorts– so I’ll be able to test out the whole exchange service.

I’ll be swapping the tracker as I already have one, but even the hero item is icing on the cake when the rest of the box is as good as this one.

Does anybody knows if you can exchange the fit band color for black? I’m afraid the white will stain easily. Black will last longer

My box just arrived … (happy dance!!) … I can’t wait to open it when I get home, I’m so excited I feel like I could go run 20 miles! (and I’m not even a runner!) – this box just makes me that happy and excited!!

this box is awesome! I am a chunkier lady and the clothing still fit well (xL)

the shoes really make my quads engage on steps and the slides are awesome- also the non-slip hairband is nice

the fitness tracker is on standby until my benefits plan recognizes it

overall my expectations were waaaay exceeded

Can anyone please help me figure how adidas runs in terms of sizing? I wasn’t confident enough about ordering a sub box with clothing due to concerns about sizing and would have loved everything, so I signed up for the fall box. I’m in between a small and a medium in most exercise clothes, but typically just buy from target. I’ve not bought any adidas anything for years and years so I have zero clue!

Adidas Avenue A has literally kicked it out of the park with the previous boxes. In the future, the best and most fantastic ever box would include a pair of Superstars or Stan Smiths. Perhaps, with special detailing.

Superstars and Stan Smiths are the trending shoe in LA and NYC and across the US. Comfortable and cool, Adidas is taking over the market. I guarantee that every high school girl across the country will request a pair of Superstars for their new shoes for school this fall………

And, I’m so hoping that Avenue A includes the trendiest, most popular shoe of 2016 in their next box.
