This month's theme is "SQUAD". This is the information card that was included in the package, detailing its contents. On the right is the monthly theme pin. Please note that since many of the items in 1Up Box are custom / exclusive, lots of these values are guesses.
"Super Smash Squad" Mashup T-shirt - Value $15?
My eight-year-old is way, way into Super Smash Bros, but he thought this shirt was too creepy to wear. That made me kind of happy, actually, because I agree! My ten-year-old will wear it, though. They haven't seen Suicide Squad, obviously, so I don't think any of us fully understand what this shirt is all about.
Marksman Air Fresheners - Value $5?
I have to be honest with you, I don't know who this character is. It looks cool though, and smells fruity.
Paranormal Dog Tag - Value $3?
The kids recently saw the original Ghostbusters, and they are super amped to go see the new one this weekend. This little tag features the original Ghostbusters, and they are really into dog tags for some reason, so they love it! (I would like to see more swag with the new Ghostbusters, though.)
Space Guardians Poster - Value $2?
My eight-year-old is obsessed with Groot! We are all Guardians of the Galaxy fans. This poster is perfect for locker-size, and I think he gets a locker this year, so this is beyond perfect!
Arkham Knight Funko POP! - Value $9.95 on Amazon
My sons are huge Batman fans, and the love their Funko POP! collection, so this was a big win for them even though they do not yet play the Batman Arkham video game series. This POP! is so cute - the cutest ones to me are the ones that are based on scary characters.
Verdict: We think 1Up Box is awesome! Everything they sent this month was a hit! And any box that includes a POP! is going to be a definite win with my kids anyway. The value this month adds up to about $35, which is great for a $20 box.
