STUDIOMAKEUP On-The-Go Eye Shadow Palette in Warm Up – Value $49.95
Yes to palettes! I can never get enough palettes in subscription boxes (or in life)!
This palette has 4 shimmer and 5 matte shades. The pigment is great in all the colors, too! (Swatched in lower photo.)
This palette is pretty easy to use even for beginners:
Use a medium shade all over the lid. A light shade on the upper and lower inner corners of the eyes. Apply a darker shade to contour your eyelid and along the lash line. Blend all shades together.
Pur Lip Lure Hydrating Lip Lacquer is Mystic – Value $22
This formula is great. It is heavily pigmented, so you're getting bold color, and it has significant staying power, too.
The lip lacquer went on smooth, provided a shine and a good amount of moisture. Overall, I'd give this an A! (Swatched in lower photo.)
Hikari Eyeliner in Raven – Value $13
This eyeliner goes on smoothly and is easy to smudge, too. In general, I find that Hikari's formulas work really well, but ideally I wish they wouldn't use ingredients like parabens.
Butter London Nail Polish in Yummy Mummy - Value $15
(Subscribers will either receive this polish OR a Butter London Lip Crayon OR a Vasanti Makeup Brush.)
This greige creme has a hint of shimmer. It took longer than other formulas to dry, but the results were worth it. I love it! Here it is on:
Hairgurt Smoothing Deep Conditioning Yogurt Hair Mask – Value $11
You leave this mask in your hair for 5-10 minutes, then rinse out. It's easy enough to use, and the formula is free of sulfates and parabens so it is OK to use on color treated hair. And the best part of this mask? It will make your hair smell like candy! (It left my hair very moisturized, too. I recommend using it sparingly the first time, then building up to the perfect amount.)
Here are the swatches of the eyeliner, lip lacquer and eye shadow palette:
Verdict: This box has a value of about $111 As always, the value for Boxycharm is amazing! I really love the product selection this month, too. I'll use everything, and it's safe to say that this is one of my favorite Boxycharm boxes of all time.
