Each month, Loot Crate will release a theme that spans across their Core Crate, Loot Pets, Loot Wear, and Loot Crate DX. This month's theme was Horror.
Each month includes a card that details the items. I love the headstones on the front of the card this month!
They will always include a collar charm as well - this month's mimics the Loot Crate Core Crate pin.
Negan Sluggers Shirt - Value $10?
This month's shirt is slightly different from the shirt in the Loot Crate Core Crate. It essentially just removes Jeffrey Dean Morgan from the graphic, but leaves Lucille.
Buckles' shirt was slightly big on him this month - it seems like Loot Crate has a lot of trouble standardizing their shirt sizes from time to time (dog and human) - this was one of those months.
Gremlins Pet Feeding Mat - Value $10-15?
This is a fun, exclusive, item!
If you don't remember Gremlins or were too young for the movie, feeding your Mogwai after midnight will cause them to turn into a Gremlin - hence the "Don't Feed After Midnight!" slogan on the mat.
Seriously, how cute was Gizmo, though? I digress...
Here's a closer look at the graphic on the mat.
Spooky Snacks - Value $10?
These turkey treats were a big hit with Buckles.
The treats are shaped like little ghosts - these are Scooby approved.
This is Buckles' favorite type of photoshoot - he'll put up with t-shirts if it means eventual treats. You can see him here, losing his patience.
The treats were a big hit - he's one of the more picky dogs I've met - so that's a win for us!
The Mystery Machine Toy - Value $10-15?
Sticking with the Scooby theme, the toy this month is The Mystery Machine van from Scooby Doo.
It's a little more rugged, which will be good with heavy chewers, and has a squeaker in it. It was a little big for Buckles to play with - so it will be passed along to another pup.
Verdict: Liz and I still love getting our Loot Pets delivery each month! She's a sucker for Buckles in a shirt, so this is really an ideal subscription for her. It's nice to see the extra item back in the box - this month's extra accessory was the feeding mat. While it was nice to have a human and dog shirt in the box, it definitely took away a lot of value from your dog.
