POPSUGAR Holiday 2016 Limited Edition Men’s Box Review

I really want this box for my brother! I had it in my cart and it sold out 🙁

I got the box today and our 16 year old son has opened it and was only unhappy with 2 items…the ice-cube tray and the cards. He loves the watch and since he is blonde he has only just started shaving and needed a shaving bag. It was worth the $100. The tracking on my others boxes show them arriving by the 12th.

I don’t understand the Izola Take Care Shave Kit. Mine was just the empty bag. Is there supposed to be some shaving products inside?

Woo Hoo! I just saved $88. I really wanted the ice tray and sort of the other stuff in the Mens box for me. Since I have the Womens LE box on the way I went over to Amazon and got the ice tray. I exercised some restraint on BF and I am still trying.

I didn’t get last years box & it sold out really quickly after the reviews came out. I got this years box w/o hesitation & wow am I disappointed. Last year there was a bag & a nice throw. This year a watch, socks, ice trays, & cards w/bald guys on them. Gross. Wish I could return it for last years.

I’d love to swap for the Gentleman’s Hardware Credit Card Tool!

Finally broke down and ordered this. Hope it ships quickly as it has to come here and be broken apart and shipped elsewhere.

Is it wrong that I totally want this box for myself 😊😂

At this point it just seems lazy of them to offer a dopp kit and ice cube trays in a men’s box, since for years those two items have been in so many men’s boxes of every price range. I would have expected something a lot more interesting, but I did buy the box specifically for the watch, and like Liz I consider everything else gravy. Wish it had been better gravy though (those cards don’t belong in a box of classy items!).

I love this box and I love that it’s a box my husband would actually want! Thank you for the review, Liz, since I was able to pull the trigger and get something for him 🙂

I’m not even going to lie….I bought this box for myself after I saw the watch, lol! I loved it and figured I could gift whatever else came in the box…Which is exactly what I plan on doing! So it was a win-win for me 😉

Now, I cannot wait to see what is in the woman’s LE box!!!

I’m so tempted to steal the cards for myself because they’re the exact kind of cards I’d give, but my boyfriend is bald and our relationship is pretty much based on me making bald jokes, so the brand makes it!

He’s really going to love the watch, but I’m envious – I want one for myself, but can’t drop $100 on myself this time of year! Guess I’ll watch for someone swapping, though it’s the biggest reason people love this box, so I’m probably SOL!

Maybe I’m in the minority but I absolutely hate this box. I thought about getting it for my husband but decided against it when the watch spoiler came out since he doesn’t wear a watch. There’s nothing in here that he either doesn’t already have a ton of or would use. I’m glad most people who bought it are happy with it though!

I like to use my giant ice cube tray for freezing flowers inside. I get the organic ones from Wholefoods. They look so festive in a drink.

I love bald guy cards, I hope people will want to swap for them. Hilarious!

I do wish the dopp kit didn’t have writing on it, but since my bf works overseas a lot, this may still be a good item for him. I was hoping to have more things to split towards other people, but it looks like he’ll get the whole shebang. (which means it was nicely put together!)

When I saw $48 for the value of that bag I expected there to be something inside. I can buy leather ones for less? What makes it worth $48, does anyone know? I’m sure it’s nice, I’m just not sure it’s that nice.

This is an incredible box for my husband! The only thing that I don’t see him using is the Dopp Kit but maybe he will pass it along to me because I could use it! 😂 Overall I am quite pleased that I picked this up for him.

Caved and bought it for my boyfriend!! I love the watch and think it’s his style. he already has a watch I got him for Valentine’s Day that he loves and wears most days but this one is more casual so I think he would definitely still wear it just for different occasions. Happy to see a more casual watch that clearly isn’t cheap. The socks I love and know he will use, he always needs more socks. He has a similar bag already but plain black and this one seems nicer so we’ll see about that. I’m sure it’ll be used. The card I think he will love. It will bring out his inner boyscout (most his childhood lol) but in a cool and mature not 12 years old way lol. especially since he loves cool bottle openers I’m thinking he’ll be really into it. I personally want the ice cube tray lol! So I’m happy it’ll be in our apartment. I think he will love it for drinks too. I usually do more like 125 as a limit for him so I am thinking of pulling the cards out of the box (I like them and may use them but they don’t fit the theme at all and he definitely won’t use them) and replacing them with a bottle of whiskey and/or maybe a nice glass that will go with the ice cubes! Put my own personal touch on the gift, and those candies look amazing and will fit the alcohol theme!

Wasn’t sure about this box after first reading the review, I went back and forth but the more I think about it the more excited I am about it. And of course the value is great!!!

This is my first Limited Edition box and I am happyish with it. Since I’m Jewish, we do 8 nights of gifts for Hanukkah and at least three of these items will work.
The watch will make a great “big” gift.
We always do a pj night, and the socks will be a great addition.
Not sure what my husband will think of the dopp bag. I might fill it with another gift. Being that my husband is a bit of a geek I think he will get a kick out of the “credit card.”
The cards are not my husband’s type at all, and not something I would gift.
My husband does not drink so not sure what I will do with large ice cubes. (Any ideas would be helpful)
Being kosher, the candy won’t work but we will gift it to someone at work.

I am happy that the higher cost items are the ones I will use. Only having 2 negative items (the cards and the ice cubes) isn’t too bad. (I never count the food)

Now just waiting to get the email that its getting shipped.

I’m happy with everything. LOVE the watch. My fiancé can always use more socks. Candy with always be eaten. I can give the ice cube tray to my drinking buddy. The tool is novel, even though I have similar ones from tech conventions – he’ll love having his own. The cards are cute and it doesn’t bother me that they don’t fit the theme, but I doubt I will ever use them. The dopp bag bums me out because I bought one at Fossil for him already, and he prefers the kind that the opening kind of stands up. I guess I’ll use it or give it to his brother. We’ll see – it’s just a bummer that it’s a decent dent in the value of the box and he won’t use it himself. Overall, I’m pretty happy, and it’s due to arrive Saturday! Typically my boxes arrive a day earlier than tracking shows, too.

I am so wishing I would not have spent the money for this box and bought more of the cyberMonday deals. The watch is a win, and the hubs will love that, but the rest…not gonna fly.
