Each month, The Bam Box will send out collector items according to its theme - November's theme was Adult Cartoon!

bam-box-november-2016-0004

Each month comes with a booklet.

Inside, you'll find all of the information about your items.

Each month comes with a Bam! Pin. I'm not a big pin fan, but Bam! Box has had some of the best pins I've seen in geek boxes - this month is THE best I've received! You could receive Chef, Cartman, are the rarer Kenny pin.

If you got Kenny, you also got...

The dead Kenny version! Every available pin was really cool, but the double Kenny pin was just great!

Betty Boop #1 - Value $3.99 + signed cover

With the recent success of the Archie revival, I'm not surprised to see a number of franchises getting another chance in comics. This month, Bam Box sends an exclusively signed copy of Betty Boop.

I wasn't a fan of Archie and it's subsequent offshoot titles, and I couldn't get into these new Betty Boop stories either.

Homer Simpson Metal Sign - Value $10?

The next item is a tin sign featuring a crazy Homer.

bam-box-november-2016-0019

It's one of the more disturbing versions of Homer that I've seen - who has apparently gone crazy due to not having any more beer.

Beavis & Butthead Attack Rick & Morty Print - Value $10?

You would receive this print or a Bob's Burgers inspired print.

bam-box-november-2016-0021

It's signed by the artist KC Day.

Kristen Lanae as Jessica Rabbit Signed Print - Value $10?

This is a photo os cosplayer Kristen Lanae as the famous Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit - one of my favorite movies when I was younger!

bam-box-november-2016-0023

It's signed in the corner of the print. I don't really follow any cosplayers, but I do know that some are famous within the cosplay world - so this could be fun for a cosplay fan.

Verdict: This box desperately needed a hero item. When I saw that the theme would be Adult Cartoon, I was more excited for the box than ever before, but I was honestly underwhelmed by the items in the box. With the amount of great cartoons out there (and they chose amazing titles!), it just felt like there is a big missed opportunity here.

Looking back on this post, the only items I actually kept from this box were the Kenny pins and Betty boop comic. Seriously, those are the only three items I kept.not cool.

A weak box after a run of great boxes. I appreciate that these guys are trying new things. I am going to keep supporting Bam Box to see how they evolve.

This one was a bust for me as well. Very underwhelmed by the contents.

Minus 3 dollars. Ooohhhhh. This does seem like a huge drop. 🙁

They changed their boxes and frankly the change sucked big time. I don’t know why they changed it. Every other box has been a home run for me and I liked the fun little things they added to make it special, but this box sucked. I like these guys, but I don’t know what to do. I really liked their special con boxes and I liked their prizes and 1Ups, this just was horrible. I am glad I got the Beavis and Butthead and Rick and Morty mashup instead of the other one, but that’s about it. I am seriously considering cancelling. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt after they said they were changing their boxes and lowering the price. I think they should have kept the price and the quality of the box up. I seriously hate this box.

This was their worst box ever. I cancelled my subscription after receiving it.

I am that close to cancelling too. I’m leaning towards GeekFuel. But then I saw the possibility(!) of Star Wars/Marvel related product in next months… so that is going to be the deal breaker if it sucks again. This one did suck the big one.

I like prints and autographs but this box just seems awfully light….I use to be really jealous of previous boxes but lately I’m just….meh….I’m not sure how they can claim $60 in value here…autographs are a very subjective value and I’m not seeing any knock it out of the park players here. Too bad, this box looked like it was going places…

Very true. Those are the problems with boxes that build up that much hype and get cocky.
