POPSUGAR + RueLaLa Holiday Glamour Box FULL SPOILERS

I returned from vacation today and opened it to find absolutely *no* protective packaging material whatsoever. Everything was damaged – boxes crushed and misshapen so I cannot gift them. I am so disappointed. Even the makeup cloth plastic box was ripped (??) – it’s like they threw in the items they had damaged in stock as I can’t see how that could have happened in the box. Oil leaked. A mess.
I just wrote to them and hope to hear back soon. I had unsubscribed from PopSugar over the summer and this was my toe in the water test. Hugely disappointed.

I ordered the Ruelala Glamour Box and received it on 12/22. The box was in bad shape and marked “arrived at my post office in damaged condition”. The items were not wrapped in tissue or bubble wrap everything just loose in the box. The makeup eraser box was broken and there was 4 items missing (umbrella, lip lacquer, mini mani, & stowaway palette). Surprisingly the bubble bath did not leak and the blush wasn’t broken. PopSugar was emailed and did email me back that they are sending replacements.

OK here’s my update. I received a box from pop sugar and had three of the four things that I was missing however I received a different color of the Smith & Cult polish. I received the gray “No Poem”. So I did not receive the manicure kit yet and it was the wrong color nail polish. They did get this to me very quickly but the order is still not correct. I am starting to get frustrated. I have been a good customer and I’ve had an account with them for over two years. I always buy the special edition boxes and this is still my favorite sub box. But I think that they need to get better quality control in their shipping area. I sent a very detailed email and the order is still not correct. My ring dish from the December box was broken and I also received a new intact one today. That was a great turnaround time. I will update about the wrong/ missing items. Maybe they are out of the rosegold polish? But if that is the case a note in the box saying ” sorry we sold out of the rosegold nail polish but we are sending you another color instead” would have been great.

My box just arrived and all 9 items were there; so there’s hope that other boxes will be complete.

My box just arrived and I could immediately smell the shower gel & feel it soaking through the box. I opened it & everything is covered in it. It has even soaked through the packaging for the other items. What a mess and so disappointing – I hope they have decent customer service. I need to know what to do with this leaking box of stuff

Haven’t received any response from PopSuger yet. I did receive a response on a broken item in the December box. They are mailing me out a replacement. But nothing about this box yet.

Okay, I got my box today. What a mess! I got the umbrella, eye shadow, blush, lip gloss and TWO of the vanilla bath. No manicure set, no bracelet, no makeup sponge and no nail polish. I sent PopSugar an email and am waiting to hear back. Did it say there might be different boxes? I am so disappointed. I will update you when I hear back.

Is anyone else having problems with getting a voucher but no promo code. It has a confirmation code but that is invalid. Ruelala says they will get back with me in 3-5 days. Need to order tonight to get by christmas. 🙁

Sold out!! My fault for waiting overnight… what happens if I buy the box with the one month sub if I already have a sub?

I just ordered one! I was on the fence for awhile, but after seeing the full spoilers it’s so worth it. I’ve wanted the Smith & Cult nail polish for awhile and since it’s sold out in so many places this box is a convenient way to get it! I’ve also been wanting to try cargo blushes but I’m a creature of habit and have had a hard time getting away from Urban Decay. Those two alone are worth more than the box. I’m also thrilled about the Smith & Cult lip gloss. I know some people did not get it. I hope I’m not one of those people because I’m just so tired of subscription boxes forgetting to send stuff like allure, the too faced black friday deal, and birchbox.

If I buy the box with subscription, can I add it on to the end of my current Popsugar subscription?

And just when I was about to completely give up on PopSugar, there’s this! The value is unbelievable, I purchased for the Smith & Cult nail polish alone. I also tacked on a three month subscription – I really hope this was a good idea. But for $20 a box, you can’t really go too wrong.
There were only 3 boxes left when I check out!

I had canceled in the beginning of the summer and I was so glad as boxes really were a miss for me… I was very impressed with November and December so I had been thinking about re subbing for a little while. I got the 6 month deal and I’m pretty excited! I’m glad to get all these goodies from the past boxes but not regretting opting out for most of the year at all! Wonder what kind of fluke they were going through… always seems like they put together better boxes during the fall/winter.

Well I broke down and ordered this box. No subscription. I’m confused though-Do I have to go do something else now? It says it will be delivered by Dec. 18th. (which is only in 2 days-wha?) But it sounds like some people went to the Popsugar site to actually order the box? How does this work?

Now I may be slightly addicted to these boxes. After only purchasing my first November box. This one was such a deal after I figured out the glitch on rue la la tonight. I wanted the nail polish and blush, and can probably flip this bracelet and the necklace from December to pay for both of them. Some things for me and gifts for all! Total paid was 29.95 tonight and 20 on gilt for the September box. I hope the hat fits… I needed an umbrella. Basically you get all this for the cost of an umbrella.

Umbrellas umbrellas everywhere! I guess PopSugar is predicting lots of rain for 2017. I wish they had put the nail polish and the Cargo in the Fashion and Beauty box. I love Cargo and that nail polish is so pretty…sigh…

My box is still processing but I am so excited to get this! What a steal!

Is the site down for anyone else once you try to checkout with Paypal or normally? It keeps taking me to an error page. :-/

Oh man I wish I would have got this deal instead of the beauty & fashion mystery box! My mystery box is the exact same as above MINUS 3 items (bracelet, blush & NCLA MANI E.R. Tool Kit) but with 1 additional item (Juara Tumeric Antioxidant Radiance Mask). Would loved to have just paid an additional $5 and gotten the bracelet!

I’m really annoyed with popsugar right now. I ordered the mystery box hoping for most of the items in this, and I did get them luckily but now this is the same price for more items? Idk that just seems like a really dishonest thing to do to me

I am regretting not getting the Black Friday deal and upgrading for a year. I’m wondering: can I buy two of these deals and use one to upgrade so I have a year supscription? Or would I just end up with six months of duplicates?

I’m super excited about the nail polish and shower oil (it’s awesome). Most of the rest of it will be up for swap though.

I received my voucher email but I’m confused. Do you use the confirmation number as your promo code? I tried that but it doesn’t put the price at $0.

Kinda glad I didn’t get this cuz I already have 5 of the items … BUT it’s a fantastic value for those who weren’t already subscribers.

I just ordered the mini yesterday for that polish! Should have held out 1 more day. Oh well, my daughter will love to get one also.
