The 'Parlor' box focused on a couple high-quality items to spruce up your home bar.
Each shipment includes an information card. On the front, you find information about the items in the box, along with information about the brands/companies.
The reverse side always has a tip to go along with the theme. This month gave a history of the different types of whiskey.
(del)Hutson Designs Tray - Value $45-55? (based on other trays from the manufacturer)
The first big item of the month is a serving tray made from reclaimed pine wood.
It's about 15x11. One thing to note - this is stained and I'm not sure that it was sealed because it stained the information card and photo table - so be careful where you put it, or seal it yourself!
Overall, it's a nice rustic look - it's simple, but it works nicely as a serving tray for your new decanter and glasses.
Luigi Bormioli Rossini - Value $45
The main item of the month is a 3-pack of glassware from Luigi Bormioli.
This line has a square base that forms into a nice, round, body. I find them nice and easy to grip - and stylish.
The decanter follows the same aesthetic. The plug is double sealed, keeping your whiskey nice and sealed until you're ready to enjoy. It holds up to 23.75 ounces.
Verdict: I love the glassware set, but can't help to be disappointed with the stain situation of the serving tray. Fortunately, it's solvable by myself - but will take some extra steps. The value of the two items combined is pretty great this month - doubling the cost of the box, which is becoming less and less of a surprise with this subscription.
