Buckles couldn't be more happy to try out a brand new dog box - he didn't know where to start!

Puppy Scoops Carob Flavor - Value $8 on Amazon

The first item was a mix to make dog-safe chocolate ice cream!

Monthly-Mystery-Box-For-Dogs-February-March-2017-0005

It's all natural and made in the USA. The ice cream comes sealed - inside you'll find a powered to mix with hot water. Let that freeze for 5 hours and you're ready to go.

Monthly-Mystery-Box-For-Dogs-February-March-2017-0012

When frozen, it definitely has the ice cream softness and texture.

We've never given Buckles puppy ice cream (or human ice cream), so this was his first experience - he loves it! It's easy to make and gets great reviews - this is a nice treat to give him from time to time and keep frozen.

Smart n' Tasty Little Duckies - Value $7.99

The second treat, which was a bonus item, are crunchy Duck and Sweet Potato treats.

These are also made in the USA and are grain-free and gluten-free - perfect for Buckles!

I wasn't sure which way these treats would go. He's a bit picky when it comes to a hard crunchy treat - and he usually flat-out denies them.

Monthly-Mystery-Box-For-Dogs-February-March-2017-0019

But not this time! He loved these and crunched it right away! They are nice and bite size as well.

Barnyard Unstuffies - Value $8 on Amazon

This month's toy was from Unstuffies - we got a mouse with a squeaker.

Monthly-Mystery-Box-For-Dogs-February-March-2017-0010

Unstuffies are toys without filling, which suits our dog well.

He absolutely went to town on his new toy! it's safe to say that this will stay in his rotation for quite a bit.

Monthly-Mystery-Box-For-Dogs-February-March-2017-0026

He was waiting for more and wouldn't take no for an answer!

Verdict: We received $24 worth of items for $10 - that's great value! I'm excited to see what a delivery without the bonus item looks like - but this is a really promising start. There are different size options for the delivery, so I'm wondering what other deliveries look like. Buckles loved it - and that's the only review we care about!

I signed up for my month before February 19, so I got the bonus treats. My puppy is also fickle with hard treats, but she also scarfed them down. I love the unstuffed mouse…no stuffing to clean up….and sushi did she with its multiple squeakers. The ice cream was a nice surprise, since I’ve thought about buying some several times but never did. We are sold now. With barkbox and frequent bark shop orders and now this, she expects every package to be for her #spoileddog Can’t wait to see what comes next!

Thanks for reading! We bought Buckles a small. They list out dog weights in the size drop down when you’re buying, so that might help as well.

That last photo is a Super Model cover shot. Are you going to frame it? That ice cream looks amazing. I wonder what it tastes like. Lol j/k (kinda!)

I got mine yesterday. I got the large dog box and it was the same except for the toy. Our toy was a bottle cover designed to look like a cat. Since my dog loves to play with empty water bottles this is a perfect toy since she cannot work the cap off. This box was well worth the price.

Strange- I ordered the large box too and what I got was identical to Liz’s box. When I contacted customer service they told me “That was what we had chosen for the mini boxes this month.”

Seems like a pretty good deal. I was going to sign up for the bonus item, but it says good up until feb 20th… darn. I guess I’ll just sit back and look at reviews first.

Ok, I don’t even have a dog. Just had to read this review to see the adorable pics of Buckles. 🙂

I loved my first box. My dogs went crazy for that toy. They just love it! The treats are so-so. They are so picky. I found that if I put coconut oil on their super healthy treats, they will eat it. 😉 I did love that the treats were also grain free.

I got this for my brother’s dog and I was impressed; can’t wait to give it to her. I’m excited to see what next month brings.

My dogs are 11 and 12 years old and so they don’t play with toys anymore. But this box looks like a great value for dogs!
