These are great suggestions. I get both Ipsy & Play! too. With the Play! bags, I also use one for carrying my ‘period paraphernalia’ around (that’s a popular use), another for my laundry quarters (since I can tie it to the basket – hate getting downstairs to the laundry room & realizing my quarters are upstairs). They’re good for headphones, chargers, batteries; all that small stuff that gets lost easily. I have clothing with removable straps/accessories & the Play! bags are great to store them in & hang off the hanger. Toss a soap or pot-pourri in ’em to stuff in your drawers. Using them to separate your make-up is an awesome tip too & I love the idea of keeping one for storing undies when traveling. There was a mesh bag a couple months ago that’s perfect for putting my no-show socks into & throwing the whole thing in the wash so those little socks don’t get lost but it has an open weave.
The Ipsy pouches are fab for gift-bags & people love getting them cos they’re utilitarian, though I hang onto my fave designs. I use a pouch for keeping my stash of assorted first aid/make-up/bits & bobs so I can quickly switch purses. I have one with my car reg in it so I can find it in the glove box easily. They make for great pencil cases. They’re good passport/ticket holders too. I like taking a few with me when I travel so my stuff is organized (make-up/skin care/hair stuff) instead of one large vanity case so I know what’s in what & if something explodes en-route, any mess is limited to that one bag. Going abroad, they’re handy for holding different denominations of money so they don’t get all mixed up with your usual currency & you end up at home with a bunch of useless small bills & coins.
There’s a ton of uses but if you find yourself with too many, donate them to a women’s shelter or charity shop. Someone will want them! PS – I re-use the pink Ipsy mailers too, just securely tape or glue paper over the original label. When I sent my Mum her last birthday present, I think she was more excited about the sparkly envelope than the actual gift. 🙂
