Walmart Beauty Box Review – Spring 2017 – Classic Box

Got my Classic box today and NEVER AGAIN!! I did not get the nail polish, the tanner, nor the body wash. I basically just got the trendsetter box which I was not impressed with at all. I will just cancel this I was just not at all impressed.

Five minutes ago I received an email from Walmart telling me that my Classic box has been shipped and to expect it in the next 5-10 days. (I received it yesterday!)

I received a Classic Spring box today that Walmart sent me to make up for some incorrect shipping and tracking information twice on my account and a delay in receiving it. In the box is Ban antiperspirant, Schwarzkopf Gliss shampoo and conditioner, Colgate Optic White Radiant toothpaste, SOO AE vitamin mask, Burt Bees’ Skin Nourishment Night Crème, Palmer’s Coconut Oil facial moisturizer and a vial of Palmer’s Coconut Oil Luminous Hydration Facial oil.

I love this box and appreciate Walmart Customer Service for resolving the issue and sending this box to me. Kudos Walmart!

Got my box yesterday. I did not get nail polish, body wash, jergens creams. I did get deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and few foil samples from birtbees. I know it is only $5, but I canceled.

I got both the classic box and the trendsetter box last week and the classic box was BETTER than the trendsetter and I received WAY more stuff in the classic box. I got a frizz ease in both boxes and tooth paste in both as well and another curel moisturizer but for 5 dollars each, I got way more samples than I expected so I am quite pleased with the boxes.

I got my box yesterday, no nail polish,no deodorant and no body wash. It had toothpaste,the jergens stuff,the shampoo and conditioner and the sheet madk plus the aveeno blister packs,which I got 4 of inside of several magazines I get,so as usual it was a bust. But I expect crap from Walmart so they never disappoint !

What do you ladies think about the likelihood of Wal-Mart exchanging the nail polish color? I was surprised to get the polish in my trendsetter box, but it’s this light lavender color that would just never work for me. I can hear the guys at work now if I showed up with purple nails. That was cool to get a polish, but my classic box was awful! Half foil packets, with no body wash or makeup item or deodorant, and I got another in shower body moisturizer, all of which seem to make my skin even more dry? Blah.

Okay, received this box today, and it doesn’t even look like the picture. No nail polish, no Gliss (which was the main reason I wanted this box in the first place), no Jergens. Yet another Pond’s anti-wrinkle cream, yet another Curel wet skin moisturizer (I received both in the Winter box), yet another set of Aveeno foil samples that I got in the Trendsetter box.
At least I actually received the Soapbox body wash and the John Frieda conditioner which was missing from my Trendsetter. And in this one they included a travel size Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion.
I mean, the stuff is still obviously worth $5, it’s just disappointing not to receive the items initially advertised, especially when they were the ones that motivated me to buy.

I received the Trendsetter box today, and it had the Gliss shampoo & conditoner, Frizz Ease conditioner, the Jergens wet skin moisturizer, Biore Baking Soda Acne Scrub, Palmer’s face moisturizer & oil, and a sample of the Rimmel Stay Matte Mousee foundation (it came w/ a $1 coupon). I’m not overly excited about these products, so I think I’ll end up donating or putting most items up for swap.

My Wal-Mart spring box was much better than the winter. Certainly worth $5. Cute pink/gold box with a generous travel size of Gliss shampoo and conditioner, Jergens Natural Glow wet skin moisturizer and tanner, Colgate Optic White toothpaste, 2 Palmer Coconut Oil samples, full-size Soo AE face mask, and foil packs of Aveeno and Burt’s Bees.

I get the classic box because of my age.

Could someone explain how swaps work. I am on the waiting list. Is it one product for one product or several products to try to match values? Who pays shipping?

I am mad! I did not get the nail polish, Ban deodorant or the soapbox body wash! Instead of those I got foil packets of Aveeno, Burt’s bees night cream & Palmers face moisturizer! Ridiculous! I didn’t get the frizz ease or lip gloss in my trendsetter either. just foil packets of Aveeno! I have never gotten what is supposed be in the box! Just foil packets! I am canceling! It is not worth the five dollars!

Has anyone received their “Me Moment” box? I wonder if that’s why some of the trendsetter boxes are shipping out late.

I get both Classic and Trendsetter and I believe I got my Classic box yesterday. It was similar enough to the review, but mine had Sinful Colors nailpolish instead of ICE. I don’t know the ingredients of Sinful Colors but I love the staying power it has. It’s a beautiful lavender, too–perfect for spring and Easter. I got Gliss shampoo and Conditioner for ultra moisture which I don’t need but my son does. Instead of Ban roll-on, I got a small Dove solid (cucumber). I got the optic white toothpaste, but instead of tanner, I received Biore Baking Soda acne scrub–which is a much better fit for me. So overall I am a happy camper! I received notification yesterday that the other box shipped as well.

I am subscribed to the trendsetter. Could not figure out the option to get classic and accidentally ordered trendsetter twice. Canceled my 2nd sub immediately. I received my box yesterday and am very pleased. The value is high. But worth more than the box and I will use everything in it. Got a travel size dove deodorant, got travel size shampoo/conditioner, got the same tooth paste as you. A sparkling bright pink nail polish, some Aveeno facial 2 pack (one time use) and foil packet of foundation which I’m excited because it’s in a color I can use. I’m way more excited about this box then my birch box. Since the samples are always tiny and I can’t always use everything. I think Wal-Mart is a good box if you Luke traveling and need the essentials.

I am so happy with what was in my box. I may have gotten a good one because this is my first Walmart box. I received the Ban deodorant, Aveeno facial sample pack, Frizz Ease conditioner, the Sea Minerals body wash, Aveeno lotion, Ponds Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream, Curel Hydratherapy, the SOO AE facial mask, and the Colgate Optic White toothpaste. I did not see the option to sign up for more than one type of box. Due to my age, I received the Classic box.

disappointed&think it’s time to cancel! For the 3rd quarter box in a row I’ve recieved Curel in shower moisturizer(which doesnt work very well), ponds anti wrinkle cream(again which doesn’t do much for me) and Aveeno anti itch cream in a tiny bottle. I also recieved the ban&a travel sized tube of Colgate advanced white tooth paste. I was really looking forward to trying some of the other products&got all triples now of stuff I won’t use. Can’t wait to see what’s gonna come in the special box I opted into getting as well this quarter! But as for the other items I think I’m gonna just donate it along with some other beauty box items I’ve collected up to the local homeless shelter. Walmart need to keep a tad better track of the samples they send out each quarter!

Has anyone heard anything about the Me Moment box that you could opt into this quarter? I decided to try that one, but I’ve heard nothing about it, no emails from them, nothing here. Maybe I missed something?

I get the verify payment and shipping email then sometimes I get a box. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I get a box and am not billed. Sometimes billed and no box. Have tried to cancel with no assurance that I actually am cancelled. ‘Tis a puzzlement.

I never get an email when mine ship. I get the first email that says ‘we’re shipping on xx date, make sure your payment info is up to date’….and then it just shows up in my mailbox. I got the dark blue polish which was slightly unscrewed and had dripped polish on some things. Luckily it wasn’t all over, and I was able to get it off the packaging with a cotton ball and nail polish remover. So glad I got the blue instead of the pink…I don’t wear any pink or red products, so those always get given away or put in my gift stash. Nice to have something I can wear for a change!

Received the classic box today. No nail polish or ban deodorant or sea scrub….instead four foil packets….not happy

Received my Trendsetter today (Classic is yet to arrive). Oh my god, I am so happy I did not receive yet another Neutrogena lip gloss! I got it last month in the Target box, still wonder which genius designed a wand that’s wider than the tube opening.

Instead I received a very nice shade of limited edition Sinful Colors nail polish.

Did not receive the John Frieda conditioner that’s in Liz’s picture. However, I didn’t even know there would be an Aveeno facial in the box – that’s so awesome! I just wish it was a bigger size to make up for the price difference.

Yesterday on the target thread I stated that I was going to pass on those boxes because Walmart looked better this month.I now regret it. Today I received the Classic box- no Gliss,no nail polish. Replaced with items from the winter box. 😡
