This is the first ever official Disney Princess Subscription Box! Pley teamed up with Disney to create this bimonthly subscription box for kids. Each box includes 4-8 Disney products (apparel, accessories, toys, etc.).
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Box: Disney Princess PleyBox
The Cost: $24.99 + $5 Shipping (Box ships every other month)
The Products: Each magical box contains: 4-8 official Disney products (apparel, figurines, fashion accessories and goodies!), a magazine with a princess story and activities, and most charmingly a DYI activity of transforming the shipping box into a playable scene (for example, the box transforms into an elaborate castle that your child can build and then color-in). The retail value of the items in the box is ~$50
Keep Track of Your Subscriptions: Add this box to your subscription list or wishlist!

Each box comes with an activity book.
Complete with instructions to turn your box into a tower! (FYI - kids will likely need help with this.)
Now, on to the goodies!
Rapunzel Wand - Value $14.95
I didn't know Rapunzel had a wand! (Apparently, this debuted in the tv series but wasn't in the movie.)
This wand has a translucent, light-up topper inspired by Rapunzel's magical ''healing flower.''
The jewel is the button to turn it on:
Press the button and it lights up!
Tangled Figure Playset - Retail Value $14.95
This set includes 6 figures that measure up to 4 inches tall.
Rapunzel and Pascal
Cassandra
Given how small these figures are, the paint job is pretty impressive!
Varian
Flynn Rider
Maximus
Fidella
Tangled Paint Set - Value $12.95
This paint set is the most impressive item in the box. The hardcover canvas exterior is well made (with the exception of the magnetic closure that wasn't working for me), and the illustrations are gorgeous!
And it's a paint set that doesn't require water!
Here is what the paint pens look like in action:
The art folio on the left holds your artwork, and on the right, you have a notepad.
And each paint pen has an elastic band holder, too.
And lastly, here's a look at the finished tower:
(Make sure to color this set before putting it together!)
Verdict: This box has a value of about $43. (I'm not assigning any value to the tower/box, but I think it is a great bonus activity.) The cost is $29.99, so I think that value is good for $40+ worth of Disney items. (Everything is official Disney Store merchandise.)
These are going to my friend's daughters to enjoy, and now I need to rewatch Tangled! (Also - I just learned from a Buzzfeed listicle that Rapunzel and Flynn made a cameo in Frozen! Better rewatch that, too!)
