FabFitFun sends out a mini mag in each box. It details the items included and also provides background on some of the featured makers and designers.

And there's a card detailing each item included with prices:

Now, time for the items!

Michael Stars Ruana – Value $54

(Patterns may vary.)

This Ruana is a multi-use product that can work as a scarf, sarong, or wrap! It measures 41″ x 72″and it is 100% Viscose. The Ruana takes up very little space, so it is great for summer travel packing!

The fabric is super soft, lightweight, and a touch sheer – it’s a perfect warm weather material.

Here it is on as a wrap:

You can also style it as a scarf, sarong, etc.

Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer – Value $16

This is one of my favorite subscription box beauty discoveries!

If you aren't familiar with Spongelle, you are in for a treat! It infused with body wash, and the sponge is firmer than your typical bath pouf, so you get exfoliation added in, as well!

This scent is described as a blend of sweet mandarin, rose, and soft musk. I’m not always a fan of rose scents, but I like this one! (And it should last for at least 14 uses!)

LUV AJ Full Bloom Lariat in Rose Gold - Value $75

This necklace is brass with rose gold plating and Swarovski Crystals accents.

It measures about 18 inches long, with a 6-inch chain drop. Here it is on:

Real Her Playbook II Shadow Palette - Value $28

Good to know: all Real Her products are free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, gluten, and phthalates!

This set includes a mix of satins, shimmers, and mattes. The pigment is good on all shades but especially impressive on the shimmers.

(Swatched in lower photo.)

BKR Bottle in Romeo – Value $35

(You'll receive either this blue color or the pink color I'm holding in the Ruana picture.)

I have a few of these BKR bottles, and I love them! The bottle itself is glass, and the silicone cover makes it easy to grip and tough to break! They are dishwasher safe, and the silicone is BPA and phthalate free, too.

Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Crème – Value $24

This is probably my favorite Briogeo product I’ve sampled so far. Like all their products, the formula is ingredient conscious and smells amazing! And this heat protectant made my hair feel much softer without weighing it down at all.

Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion - Value $58

Dr. Brandt makes amazing exfoliators, and I’m always happy to see this brand in subscription boxes. Unlike the Age Defying exfoliator, this scrub has a very subtle mint scent, and the scrubbing particles are a little finer.

I can’t get over how smooth this exfoliator makes my skin feel – if you haven’t sampled this yet, you are in for a treat!

Manna Kadar LipLocked Priming Gloss Stain in Lucky - Value $24

This is a liquid lipstick with a glossy finish. (And it isn't sticky!) The pigment is pretty impressive, too.

Here it is swatched above the eyeshadow palette:

MILLY Zip Pouch – Value $45

(You'll receive one of several colors. Dimensions: 10 1/4″ x 8″)

This pouch is water resistant inside, so it’s great for a bathing suit bag or a cosmetics bag. And it has a wristlet strap, so it could double as a beach clutch.

(This bag was originally featured in the Spring 2017 FabFitFun box and has been a very popular item in the swap section! So if it isn't for you, you'll have a lot of requests for it!)

Verdict: This box has a retail value of $359! I think this is the best Editor's Box I've ever seen from FabFitFun! They've included some of my favorite beauty products from their past boxes, too.

What do you think of the latest Editor's FabFitFun box?

Why doesn’t the LOVE40 code work – I’m a new subscriber?

Vanessa

I just ordered this box to try and get another blue bkr for my husband. He loves his first one I got in the FALL box. I have many bar’s that I paid full price for when they first came out, so I am beyond thrilled to get them and a whole bunch of stuff basically for free!

I don’t like anything else in the box except the Milly bag and the Spongelle. This is still a win for me though because I am obsessed with the bkr. I have the black ruana and I will be gifting it. I liked the other colors way better. I will have a lot of gifting to do with the rest of this box!

If I do get the pink one, I will be really annoyed. I also like the blue Milly bag and blue ruana……..so what would be the best strategy? Should I get one more box before they sell out to increase my chances or just wait and see what I get? Suggestions please!!!

Would u swap the black ruana for my blue one?

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

If you get a pink one, I’d be happy to swap a blue one with you.

Jacki

I got 2 summer boxes and have 2 editors coming. I have a spare blue bottle, but don’t know which ruana and bag colors are coming.
I’m sure you can swap for colors you want, but at this price you can’t go wrong with purchasing another box.

ArpitaP

does anyone know when this box will ship?

Jacki

I ordered on the 18th. Not so much as a shipping label so far. My order from the warehouse sale (July 14?) has shipped, so hopefully these are next.

Carolina

I ordered on the 18th as well and waited until 8/1 to email them, since I saw comments say that they take about 10 days to ship. Their response was that it was in its final “processing stage”.

Since I didn’t see anything change since then, I simply responded asking if that was normal and their response was “We actually had an inventory check last time so your box that is ready for shipping was put on hold for a little while.” I have no idea what that means lol. Anyway, they can now “see” a label was printed and they gave me tracking. I’m sure it’ll be another week at least, until it’s delivered.

This is my first time ordering from them, so not such a great experience 🙁

Lisa

Shipping showed up in my FedEx app about 10 mins ago

Christina

I ordered mine on the 20th. It says 10 business days on the website. Mine hasn’t shipped yet. It’s been 8 if you don’t count the 20th. Can’t hardly wait!!!!

I bought this box due to lots of FOMO. Just cancelled the sub though, as I have a garden tub full of boxes with product in them, that I haven’t even put away yet. This box looks fun, but I have waaaay too much stuff. Looking forward to receiving this. I also cancelled Play, Allure, and Beautyfix today. And yet, thinking about what other boxes look good (girl math), ugggh!

They finally got me, I just subbed. This box looks amazing and I’m weirdly excited about Fit TV, has anyone used it, what do you think?

Just an FYI, I know some people here were able to get a price adjustment when FFF threw out that second code a DAY after alot of us had ordered our Editors boxes.

Well I tried to do the same & not only did they take a week to reply, I had to go back & forth with them to get anywhere, only to be told I WOULD not get the same deal others had already applied because you can only use ONE discount code.

Customer Service was terrible & in general, their boxes aren’t all that. Cancelled last nite. Happy to give my money elsewhere. NEXT!

It never fails to amaze me how some businesses operate. How can they not realize they lost more $ by NOT giving you the additional discount. They had the opportunity of turning this into such a positive experience they could have had you as a subscriber for life. A few nice words and a couple of dollars can go a long way. They could even have offered to send you some free items to make up for it.
I had a bad experience with them once and though they finally fixed it the customer service person would never admit they were wrong (they sent me an item i didn’t order).

Created a second sub to get this box! I already have the pink BKR bottle, black & white ruana, and the white slay all day bag so I’m hoping I receive different variations of those items. Everything else (besides that Manna Kadar) is a happy duplicate 🙂

What is the likelihood of being able to sub and quickly unsub before the next box is ready to ship? Not sure I’m down for the sub.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Their customer service is very good and it’s easy to cancel on the website as well. Sometimes you cannot scroll over on the phone so I recommend doing it on a computer.

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

You can check the box for “this I see a gift ” and it will be a one time purchase.

Ash_Kay

Thank you for the tip!

LB

I just looked up billing/shipping dates to write myself a reminder — Fall box should not start billing until September 1. You should technically be able to cancel the sub after they charge you for the Editor’s box (which is probably same day you order). So there should not be a problem. Even if you want to wait to cancel to be safe, you should still have over a month before you are charged for the next box….

Ok ok ok I will budge! What a deal! I’m hoping I like the palette II because I have the I palette and thought the pigment wasn’t that great. I read a lot of reviews and it seems like there is some variation on different palettes guess I’ll know for sure now I’m getting this! I won’t continue my sub though I always wait for special sales etc to get a lot of my boxes

Shelby

I’ve spent the last two weeks being constantly tempted to get this box because of the deep discount. I’ve also spent two weeks gritting my teeth and letting the opportunity slide, only to have it merrily pop up again. So I finally gave in – yippee! I’m not sure that I’ll keep the sub. Mostly FFF seems to be the same few brands, and the jewelry is definitely sub-par for the price point. I get the feeling that there’s so much competition for discounted merch to put in sub boxes that the supply has thinned and more boxes are relying on cheaper brands to fill boxes.

Missy

I’m like u been tempted & tempted on this deal I’m finally gonna take the plunge as well I mean 30$ for 359$ worth of products that’s a no brainer!

Reply ButtonReply

X

You know, I haven’t been feeling FFF for a long time, used to love them, now I just feel like it’s a bunch of off-brand sort of junky stuff (no hate though, I know everyone is different and has different interests), but this box is the exception! This box is great! Ordered one. What a great deal too. Can’t argue with the fact that FFF consistently has great value.

I got this ruana, if anyone wants to swap for the beige orange one – I’m down! My wrap is unopened/new.

I got the pink bottle & slay all day bag.

Happy about this box overall (even the Manna Kadar, though the colour was wrong) until I read comments about the quality of the jewelry. I signed up specifically for this box, I doubt I’ll continue a sub.

Jean

Hi Vanessa,

I have the black and white ruana if you’d like to trade?
It’s new but I took it out of the wrap to see the size. Happy to wrap it back! I also got the artist palette and won’t use so am happy to send if you think you’ll like it!
Thanks!

Liz Petrus

Jean- I have the blue and white ruana if u want to trade. I also have the blue Millie bag, and eyeshadow palette to trade.

Teresa

Jean, If Vanessa doesn’t want to trade,I would. I have the Orange Ryan’s and would like the black. I think I threw away the wrapping but it hasn’t been worn. In FULL DUSCLOSURE we have smokers in the house so if that is a problem, I most certainly understand. Thanks!

Ying

I own other jewelry from the same brand and I’m not too impressed with the quality. You pay a high price for items that look/feel like cheap jewelry. I think the brand creator was just good at marketing to the right people and bloggers and choosing good models/ photographers/stylists for their photo shoots.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Totally agree! I got the rose gold crawlers set in the spring box and wore them a few times before they looked like rusted dirty pennies and ended up in the garbage. Would never pay the prices listed for the jewelry but overall this box more than makes up for it.

Marissa

What comments?

Reply ButtonReply

Kim

The color of the jewelry rubs off and makes it look like cheap jewelry you would get for a few bucks at most. From what I’ve read. Although it looks pretty so

Nicole

I hope I get this same variation! Thanks for reviewing this!

Missy

Me too! That black & white ruana is awesome!

Tara

When do they usually ship? I ordered a week ago but wasn’t sure if they ship quickly or not.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

Tara the website said they should ship 7-14 after you ordered it! 😊👍👀❤😍
