Peony Cosmetics Rapunzel Hair Mist - $15.00

It's a nice change of pace to get a hair mist in a summer box that isn't a sea salt spray! This mist is designed to add moisture and shine to your hair. The scent is floral and beachy (I love it), and the formula didn't weigh down my hair at all. (Plus, you can use it on dry or damp hair!)

I didn't notice any difference in shine, but a major improvement on softness.

Nourish Nails Water Based Nail Polish in 2nd Chances - Value $12.50

This water-based formula is new to me! Here is a bit more on the difference between this formula and your standard nail polish formulas:

The ultimate, ultra gentle nail varnish formulation with a revolutionary water-based resin that creates a high shine coating that is both air and water permeable. This allows for oxygen and water to reach the nail bed to help nails stay healthy, stronger and to help reduce discoloration. The unique nourishing formulation provides a super high-shine coat, long-lasting color and a fast-drying finish.

The good news is that I got full-coverage in one coat, and I was impressed with the high-shine, too.

The bad news? The nail polish easily peeled off in a day or two. That being said, I've peeled off nail polish before and felt like I had damaged my nail - not the case here.

Seraphine Botanicals Liquid Coal Waterproof Eyeliner - Value $22

This is everything I want in a liquid liner: super pigmented, smudge-proof, and a thin pen-tip for precision! Here it is swatched:

Twelve Beauty Hyaluroil Lip Treatment - Value $36

This lip treatment is designed to hydrate and plump your lips. (The plumping just comes from fully moisturized lips, so no need to worry about ingredients that irritate your lips.)

There is no discernable flavor or fragrance, and the formula gave my lips some shine, too. (No stickiness.) Since I'm always reapplying lip balm, my lips are never dry/chapped, and I couldn't see a big difference after using this product.

Verdict: This box has a value of just about $85 which is great for a natural box that costs $34.95 with free shipping worldwide! I liked every product I tried, but the eyeliner and hair mist were standouts for me. (And even though the nail polish peeled off easily, I liked it while it was on!)

Yay, Nourish Beauty is finally being reviewed (again?)!!! 😀

Just a heads up, while I was subbed this year, they included a nail polish from their own line in every box, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the next box (and the one after that) includes another polish from Nourish Beauty. I think I had the exact same experience as Liz did with one of the polishes, but the others I’ve worn have worn fine.

Ooops, I meant to say that all of the polishes were from the brand Nourish Nails, not Nourish Beauty.
